So I turned maintenance mode on and refreshed my website and there was a blank white screen. I turned it off and cleared my browser cache and have tried a proxy browser and my website still has just a white blank screen. Anyone know?

I'm creating a cron-job that calls the script maintenance.php, but there is a problem with the functions resetpiretcount() and resethours(). These functions are not executed because the script doesn't get the maintenance permissions to do so. Is there a solution for this? Any idea to do it in a different way? Thank you very much for your help.

Hello ! We have some problems with the data base. In fact, when one of our aircrafts have to go to the maintenance : we don't tick "Enabled" in the aircraft page. But, the aircraft is still enabled in the flight repport page so that pilots can choose it. We would like the aircraft not to be in the list in flight repports. For some reason, this line is causing my cronjobs to fail. There is no pilotid = 0 so I am not sure where it is supposed to get its permissions from but I am getting the following errors when it autoruns: Unauthorized access - Invalid Permissions Should there be a pilotid of 0 in my database? This happened after the update to phpvms 5.5.2 and change to php version 5.5. I can run any of these jobs manually while I am logged onto the site. I am thinking a possible admin privilege issue??? Hi guys i`ve got a problem with the maintenance.php and the bids removal. I have set the local config to : # If someone places a bid, whether to disable that or not Config::Set('DISABLE_SCHED_ON_BID', true); Config::Set('DISABLE_BIDS_ON_BID', false); and in the maintenance.php i`ve activated this for the cron job: if(Config::Get('CLOSE_BIDS_AFTER_EXPIRE') === true) { SchedulesData::deleteExpiredBids(); CronData::set_lastupdate('check_expired_bids'); } now the bids are removed after the period i`ve set but the flights don`t show up in my schedules again after the bid removal. So no one else can book them anymore. any ideas what`s wrong here? Would be nice …

phpvms 5.5.2 on php 5.5: I am getting the following errors trying to run maintenance.php as a cronjob. Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/flyelite/public_html/admin/maintenance.php on line 26 Unauthorized access - Invalid Permissions. Return to Homepage Line 26 is: Auth::$userinfo->pilotid = 0; When I run maintenance.php while logged on from my admin user account, it runs without problems. When I ask my host provider about it, they say phpvms is not compatible with php 5.5 and to downgrade to php 5.3. However, this makes no difference …

Heres what has happened our VA lost its web master. I have know some stuff about PHPVMS but need some help i either need to dump the whole thing start over or get the upgrade installed. Go from there. a clean install would prolly be best our va is not that big as of now we are moveing to PHPVMS over the next couple months My big problem is i dont have they guys log in information he took it all with him. Hello, I was having a before-opening meeting with all my staff, When one of my staff memebers mentioned with Internet Explorer that when you view the schedule, It refreshes every second and I cannot seem to find the bug. One of my VA's Malaysia Virtual Airlines, has suddenly decided to give me a lot of php errors, I ran the checkinstall.php and the only error it found was with the kacars free module. http://malaysiava.org I need help trying to figure out why the skin wont show, and the errors are showing. I have not added anything new, or changed any code, so this shouldn't have happened. Any help I can get would be greatly apprieciated.

Hey guys, I would like to offer my VA Site in multiple languages. I created a new LangData.class.php. Everything works fine, The function Lang($pilot) returns the array $lang. When I define on any template $lang = LangData::Lang($pilot); or inside the module $this->set('lang', LangData::Lang($pilot)); it works perfectly fine. But I want to make the variable $lang accesable globaly, without having to set the variable in all modules or templates. I tried to set the variable inside the layout.php, because it covers all templates as the top file, but in that way I can only echo the array inside layout.php. I am trying to make a flight board from my customized acars map to put on my front page. I just want to remove the map and retain the rest of the info, but I can not get it to work. Which code of the map do I remove to keep the info still working without the map on the basically default acars_map.tpl code? I want it to still refresh automatically and have the pilot link working. basically all the text info right below the map is what I want, and to continue to work. Question explains it all - I have a page, NOT in templates or in the skin, but rather in the HOME DIRECTORY (where /core and /lib etc is) and I'm not sure how to make it only visible to pilots, so that if you're not logged in and you visit the page, it'll bring you to the login page. Couldn't find anything obvious on the other pages that also were only visible to pilots. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Hello everybody, I've noticed that a lot of VA's direct you to a management page, separate from the main site, when you log in. This page usually has a completely different template. I have the content all ready - I'm just not quite sure how to make a new page (just one page) with a separate template, but still be able to access the database in the very same way that I do on every other page (because I'm copying some code over). Hi all, I'm looking to make a script to run as an equivalent to that of FSACARS/kACARS etc which instead gets data from online xml feed(s). I just want to be able to feed the live map from it and compile & automatically send PIREPS to the system when they're completed. After looking through the FSACARS and kACARS scripts in the modules folder I'm still not really picking up how I would do it. Would anyone be able to explain how the process works, what files are involved and what data will need to be provided? Thanks

I have been ok using your system for installation easyier than I thought I would, but I am now having trouble making the files writable. It says in the phpVMS Installer that core/local.config.php is writable! but 5 are not. I am using a free hosting provider called http://www.freehost10.com/, and they are easy to use but I am not sure how to go about making them writable. Thanks.
