Hello again, Sorry to be such a pain. My installation had errors and therefore did not procees to step two where I enter all off the details about the airline and most importantly setup the admin user. I cannot therefore get to the admin section. I am trying to re-install vms but keep getting this error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ezDB_mysql in /home/.sites/70/site4/web/vms/core/classes/ezdb/ezdb_mysql.class.php on line 299 I do not have access to phpmyadmin and therefore cannot erase the tables and start again. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have recently contacted my host on this error "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 128 bytes) in /hermes/web02/b2669/pow.aj5214/htdocs/core/classes/ezdb/ezdb_mysql.class.php on line 273" I got a response back from saying "I would like to inform you that, I have tried by setting the maximum memory limit for the PHP . However, the URL http://usaflightclub.com/index.php/schedules/view still giving the same error. It appears to be issue with the script. So, I advice you please check the script and debug the issue from your end. " How would I debug the system?? Thanks in advance Regards, Allan

HI guys, When you delete a pilot from the admin I want to be able to edit that code to also update another field in my database, basically what i have is external authentication switched on for IPB, I have pilot id and the password and the account creation for the fourm, i also have a further check retired=0 so when i delete a pilot that has never flown i also want to update that field to retired preventing forum access. So to finally get to the point where does that code live and can i just reference it to the pilot id and update the retired column? Thanks.

Alright my question is on ranks. I changed the ranks in the system to my own custom(Removed New Hire). However when a pilot signs up on the roster it says "New Hire" until I go to the admin panel click edit by their name and click save. Then it goes to the first rank. So my question is: How do you change the default rank that is entered in the mysql database? Thanks!

For some reason, in the pireps, the map for the pilot's route no longer shows?! It still shows up in my admin section, when I click on "view", but for everyone who looks at the flight map for pireps, it is gone?! I updated the schedules for DST, and had to change permissions to import them(old topic solution here): http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/3980-importing-new-schedule-solved/page__p__26794__fromsearch__1#entry26794 So I updated schedules correctly and all seemed well, and it was fine on my ealier pirep today, but now seems like map is gone. Weird. Probably something simple. Any ideas?

This past weekend, I had a very rude awakening over deleting pilots and VA Central. I'm aware, when you delete a member his stats are lost and if he rejoins he has to start from scratch. What I wasn't aware of is his contribution to the VA is deleted from the data base. If I had kept all the inactive members we would have 123 man roster. We have found out the system doesn't delete anyone, Ours is preset from the beginning at 90 days but it has never dropped a single inactive member so we have to do this manually. This past Friday we were less than 100 hours to role over 10,000 hours and our second award. Sunday evening I went through the roster and removed 15 inactive mem…

Hi guys, I have just updated phpvms today (v2.1.934-157-g7ca06a3) and went to the admin page and have a couple of issue. once there on the front page I get the following Open Flash Chart JSON Parse Error [syntax Error] Error at character 0, line 1: 0: <br /> solved when it try's to load the pilot reports for the week. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way that I can basically grab information from one of the VATSIM Data servers, and pull my pilots info out of it and match it with a pirep to add .5 more hours per flight that the pilot does on VATSIM. This is just a thought that I was thinking could be possible in the future at my VA.

Hi there. Even though fsacars is no longer supported by phpvms I would like to ask all here if they have a fix for the known error of fsacars "Database Error" ? The reason for us wanting to use fsacars is because; 1. few of Our members are more familiar with fsacars. 2. we are planning an event for our members to fly any where they want (in simple words manual flight plans , manual flights) basically the event would be our members can fly where ever they want on what ever fleet they want either its in our fleet or not. Nabeel I am starting to get problems while pilots are filing pireps, to file a manual pirep it is taking over one minute from pressing the file button, this is also causing problems when pilots are using kACARS with the site delay. If there any way of moving the back end functions to a cron as the current performance can not continue. I have been speaking with Jeff and we have tried various things but its looking like its the back end functions that are causing the delays and problems as described above i tried a manual pirep which took over a minute to file. Hey guys, I have got a problem with the close bids after expire function. The CRON job removes the bid so it`s no longer displayed under the recentbids but as i have disable SCHED on BIDS active it doesn`t show up in my schedules again after the cron job has removed the bid. I have to delete the flight completely from the schedules and add it as a new flight in order to make it show up again. So in the maintenance.php i just find this: if(Config::Get('CLOSE_BIDS_AFTER_EXPIRE') === true) { SchedulesData::deleteExpiredBids(); CronData::set_lastupdate('check_expired_bids'); } but where can i find the code for what actually is happening then so that i can take a look …

Is it possible that pirep(view) than say delay and than the hours or to early and the hours?
