Sorry if this was asked already, but.....Can you change a pilot id in the actual database manually, to reflect wht they used to be on our old website, or is hard coded once someone joins? Bruce

I get this quite a lot but then i suppose everyone else does as well, just goes to show why you should not use default directories and check your logs If you look at it thats 100 queries against the site in just over a minute

I know this has been entered in the forum countless times, but this one has stumped me. We had 2 members of our VA saying that when they try to bid on a flight the get the "No Route Passed" Strange thing is, all other members are able to bid, fly, and file PIREP's without any problems. Its just two members that have this issue. Anyone seen this before, and has anyone got a fix. Kind regards all Dan

Hi all, I have been trying to test out php pages I make on my own without having to use a free host then use phpmyadmin to make databases. How can I do this all on my solely on my pc. If there you guys have some sort of programs or list of programs I can run together to test out new pages, it would be great! Thanks!

Hi there, I have this bizarre issue where one of my pilots filed a PIREP with a different aircraft to the one supplied in the schedule, and I'm confused how that happened, any ideas? This is the schedule: FE,9320,EGGP,GCFV,,G-EUTA,,,14:20,18:40,04:20,,,P,46, And G-EUTA is visible in the system, in the Admin Panel. However, the pilot's PIREP states that the route was flown using G-EULI, a completely different aircraft from a different hub. I was thinking he could have used the option 'Select Aircraft' in kACARS and that could have affected the PIREP maybe?

Hi Everyone, I have an issue with phpVMS' signature function I tried replacing the background image but it has now just generated a black box with a flag in the middle. Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to alter the way the distance is entered on PhpVMS? Currently the distance is figured out automatically by the distance from the Departure airport and the Arrival Airport.My question is if there is a way when the pilot is filing their pirep if they can enter the distance they got instead of the auto calculated distance. @Nabeel

I eventually got FSACARS up and running, did a flight, and it filed a treat.... Now when i go to live map, there is still the icon for my plane saying that the FSACARS is closed. I have looked at other VA's live maps and dont see this. I am wondering if I have done something wrong, or if it is normal for the icon of a flight to stay up after FSACARS has been closed down. ( its been down for almost an hour now ) I know it may seem like a silly question, but I want to make sure I haven't screwed something up. Thanks in advance

Hello All I have been trying to find a way to implement pilots restrictions on Arcraft into the great Front Schedules add on made by Simpilot. So far, I managed to change the frontscheduledata.class to show me only the schedules with the proper pilot ranking but it shows me one route per pilot meaning if I have 10 pilots it shows me the same route 10 times in the schedules results. Hi there, I noticed today that the distance remaining in ACARS table isn't calculated correctly. After starting kACARS at boarding phase, I checked the remaining distance is 376 nm while the actual number is 456 nm. Anyone has the same problem? Cheers Update: Sorry! My bad. I noticed I didn't choose the correct airport in simulator. It's all just fine now.

Hello, Not sure if this is a bug. If it is I'll put in a ticket for it. Anyways, I noticed that when a new user is created it has no profile avatar so IE8 shows a the dreaded "red X". I also noticed that until the user is approved in the admin site the rank image place holder displays the "red X". Once I approve the user the red X goes away for the rank. Would it be possible to have all new accounts have a place holder image so this doesn't happen with IE. In FF3.5 the image is still broken but it displays a little gray box. Much nicer to look at then the "red X". I'm using Beta 808 btw. Thanks, Keith

Hello, I was hoping someone could help with changing this code so the pilots dont need to use the dropdown box just to select our Airline which is the only one listed there anyway.. I am looking at the PIREP.php and pirep_new.tpl files pirep_new.tpl at line 11 Is there any way I can customise this code to give no option to select and have my Airline preselected instead ? Any help would be mostly appreciated. Regards Adam

Greetings everyone, I am trying to make my pilot center as a complete module, than having it inside the template. So I tried creating some custom modules and I successfully tested that. However, the module is displayed inside the content area of the layout.tpl(or .php) and I would like to know if it is possible to display that in a blank page(or just display the index page of the module without embedding it in to the layout template). I hope somebody knows how to do this because I am desperate to get this working as I can't continue building my site without getting this to work. Thanks in advance Regards, Kishshey

Is anyone assigned as Administrator or Staff assigned by default to the Active Pilots Group? Yes I know there is only a pilots DB table. It appears that if you only assign a user to Aministrators or a Staff group (no active pilot group assigned) they are still rendered and displayed in any pilot function. ie, Pilots online, My Pireps, etc etc etc. I do have Simpilots Staff module. I was just hoping that there would be clear separation between them (not included in any flight/finance functions of the phpvms system). Guessing the answer is can't separate them.
