Hi all, I have been trying to test out php pages I make on my own without having to use a free host then use phpmyadmin to make databases. How can I do this all on my solely on my pc. If there you guys have some sort of programs or list of programs I can run together to test out new pages, it would be great! Thanks!

Hi, I put in my virtual company XACARS and I wanted some clarification if possible. For the client I understand how it works, but not for the server. What should I do? Just put the file XAcars Server Scripts written in PHP (http://www.xacars.net/downloads/serverscripts.zip) in the root server of the company, changing only the address of the VA? or I must create a specific database ? thank you very much for responce bye fsx

Hello All- I was wondering, maybe I missed it in another post while searching, but is there a way to incorporate an automated list showing recent awards being given out. Say a pilot gets awarded 100hr award, I would like to see if on the main page a list updates showing showing that pilot was awarded an award. Maybe even have the award picture next to it. Let me know if this is possible. I am just learning php so I am not that experienced yet. Thanks

Hi Nabeel instead of redirecting people to the not allowed page for pages you must be logged in to view would it be possible to redirect straight to the login page?

Let me start off by saying if anyone thinks I know anything about PHP, they are mistaken. ;D What I'd like to do is eliminate the comma and hub ICAO from the line the rank is on. Then, I'd like to add "Hub: " followed by the Hub ICAO on the line below. In other words it would display OMG0001 Robin Frank <flag> <Rank> Hub: <ICAO> Total Flights: <number> Total Hours: <number> rather than what it does now. Thanks. All I need to know which document it is in and approximately where. Then, I can try to figure out how to change it. :

Hi, I just noticed that my pilot payments are not taken in to the list of revenue/expense overview. I do however see that the pilot receives its earning. I tried to look in the tpl files, but can't find anywhere how i can change it so the pilot earnings are taken in the expense overviews. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! I am trying to import flights but getting no aircraft and it was skipped but I have the aircraft in my fleet but I have the right ICAO codes for the aircraft but it looks like the csv file has B752 in the aircraft colom and my aircract names are name wright as Boeing 737-200 any way to fix this? tanks

I am getting an issue where none of the emails I send are being sent. I have put my name and email address into the local config file but whatever I send just doesn't arrive. I've checked on the documentation part of this site, can't find anything there and also nothing under tutorials. Also searched the forums and found one similar but not the same as my issue. Anyone help me understand the process used to send the emails in phpvms so I can fault find somehow? Thanks

Hello Guys, I need to fix this error in the monthly statistics of the airline. The module works well but I have noticed that since there are no statistics in this month for some reason it throws the error: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/level/public_html/phpvms/core/common/FinanceData.class. php on line 107. I have not modified anything and it only throws the error in the statistics of this month. In the statistics of the previous months it does not. Although I posted this elsewhere, this may have something to do the problems listed below. Seeing a // after the domain, is something I've never seen before. Here are the problems I'm experiencing. Although I added hours for everyone to bring them to appropriate rank, they are all still 2nd officers. : 1st Officer starts at 25 hours. Also, please note the above shows 2 flights while my sig says 1 and doesn't record my earnings properly. In my admin, there is this: Please note that route was flown by 2 pilots, but show no flights. also, it has disappeared from the schedule. I checked and it is active. Sorry to be a bother. hello everyone, after installing xacars i have this on my live map: the dep. and arr. is at the middle west part of africa. always...also when i fly to other destinations like on the picture. the pireps sent from xacars to the homepage are always correct. it´s just about the live map picture. any ideas ? i´m using Version 2.0.850

2 Problems 1. In my VA we changed our Pilot ID in order of the staff numbers, but when my ID was changed, It gave me another person's profile badge in the pilot center 2. When I made the ranks, I clicked the link labeled Ranks and it gives me an error saying: An Error Was Encountered The module "RANK" doesn't exist! Is there anyway to resolve these problems?

Hello everyone. I have been trying to figure out from where the actual sidebar options in the admin panel are rendered. I know I figured it out once but I can't seem to find it again now. The skin calls it from the $sidebar variable but I am trying to figure out from which controller does that variable come from so I can rearrange the options a bit. The template files are only used for displaying the options for the selected sidebar menu. Hope you understand what I am asking for

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way I could change all the default emails to have a custom theme/template. I tried just copying and pasting the following code into the email that sends when a pilot joins but it removed all the css. Hey all, so I'm working on lots of schedules for my VA, and there are a few airlines, Polar Air Cargo for example, that fly both their own routes and routes for DHL. I'd ideally want to inform the pilots through smartCARS that that flight is operated by Polar for DHL by adding in "opb Polar Air Cargo for DHL", but if I drop that into the notes column, it only shows up on the website, which most of our pilots don't use. I could add it into the Route column, but that's only gonna get deleted if someone drops a route in. Is there a way to push the Notes column into the comments field, or at least have it notify the pilot in smartCARS?

I constantly have the problem of pilots not knowing their pilot ID when they sign in the first time. What variable do I use to put the pilot id in the accepted email? I've tried a bunch but I can't figure it out.

I am hoping someone out there can help me again with another issue. I am using my own skin and have my own Search form and results page and the form works fine but the resulting search doesn't have any formatting, it almost seems as though it isn't adhering to the same rules for the layout file? Is this true, or should the search results conform to the page content like any other template file? Perhaps I need to add the relevant style links directly in the search result file (schedule_results.tpl/php)? Thanks, Graham
