Hello guys. I wonder how does for modules work out the skin folder? I created an area reserved for pilots in phpvms the root folder, but the modules do not work there. Any suggestion? For example, the flight booking module Codeshare, shows no shedule that page, while the skin is. Thanks!

Well, if I am using a drop down menu how to arrange that within the core_navigation.tpl ? For example I may have a link to the pilot center droping down from "operations" but how do I show that only to logged in people? And also the logout and admin, where do I put my links for those in the core navigation as they also drop down from "operations"? many thanks, roboa

When i send mass emails im using port 465 = secure sll and i check my inbox and i never receive anything but if i use port 26 = unsecure i receive it in my spam immediately i would love to know the fix to this that way all emails sent will go to inbox not spam box

Website suddenly starts redirecting to the /install/install.php directory even though there is no /install/index.php directory? when you go to www.flyirelandva.com it redirects you to www.flyirelandva.com/install/index.php and aas you can see the install folder is gone because i already installed phpvms 3 months ago? My site has being up for a while now and i have not encountered this problem before. The only files i have touched was the skins folder and my forums folder that has nothing to do with phpvms, and yes I have checked to see if there is an install folder in the main directory and there is none there. Hi there, I was wondering to what extent would it be possible to implement online and offline flying statistics? Basically, I'd like to log a type of flight, whether it was online or offline, so then we can display a count on pilot's profile i.e Online/Offline = 5/2. I'm not sure however what are the current possibilities of the system to implement this; whether kACARS can detect it, or whether some addon would make it possible... Any ideas?

I know, I know. I should use the search function and try and find my answer. I have been sitting here for an hour trying to find it, and I just can't seem to figure out what words I need to put together to make this thing work... Here is what I am trying to do. Currently, I have a "Latest Pilots" list on my homepage that is limited to show the 5 most recent pilots by their ID. Well, we change our pilot's IDs when they join to fit into the hub, and I would rather the "Latest Pilots" list to be sorted by date instead of by ID. Is there a way to add a member as part of the admin menu to see ONLY one thing. Basically, what I want is for someone to have access to the "Financial Reports" menu, but that is all I want to be available. Is that possible?

Hi guys. I am completely new with phpVMS. So I started a new site. The site works almost perfect on Firefox, Opera, Chrome. But not on InternetExplorer 11. The Nav Menue not showing up as well as the slide show. the site is www.v-twa.com. Any solution for IE11? Thanks Roland

I keep getting this error when I try to do the install The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

Hello all, Little issue here... If I create a custom profile textarea field, no matter what new members write in it, it only keeps the first 24 characters in their profile. So I can't read what they wrote, except for the first 24 characters... Any idea? Thanks!

Hi all we have a problem with the manual pilot report not accepting non schedule flights. Xacars will and sends then through and the VMS soft ware accepts them. But if a pilot sends a non schedule flight through with the pilot report it gives an error, Is there any way we can make the pilot report accept non schedule flights. This is important to the way we run our VA which is a charter VA, such things as returning aircraft to base etc are necessary. Can you help please. PaulD.

A virtual airline would like me to help them create a function in phpVMS in which the pilot can only bid from a flight that they had previously arrived from. I'm wondering if such function is possible, or should I suggest just reject flights that don't follow the criteria (that would seem mean, )? Haven't touched phpVMS for a whole summer, so I'm extremely rusty on the matter. Any input would be great, thanks!

Hi there, I couldn't find a topic like this, so I decided to start a new one. I have a very simple problem. When a pilot makes a bid for a flight, the flight usually disappears in the schedule because it is already booked. Lately, this does not happen anymore. When a pilot makes a bid for a flight, the flight is still available for other pilots in the schedules. I know it is a configuration problem. But I wasn't able to find the place (file) where to set the config for this problem. Could you please help me? Best regards, Chris.

Hi, I am currently struggling to get the maps in different parts of my website to work. I have got it to work on the homepage by following a tutorial but I tried the same thing on the Fleet Tracker, ACARS Map and "My Flight Map" in pilot center, but they didn't work. If anyone has any suggestions they would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Matthew

hi guys, i have searched the forums but haven't been able to find a solution. My virtual airline has just changed all of the staff email accounts, whenever we try to send out a mass email to all of our pilots (using the email all pilot function) it sends the email through the old account. So, I cannot login into admin section. Any ideas? PS: didn't messed up with nothing. Just unpacked and uploaded to host.

Hello I have a problem with my map ACARS. This afternoon I am flying with kACARS but once my flight over, I noticed several hours later that I was always displayed on the map. I did a "Reset ACARS" and the problem was solved. I wonder if there is a solution to avoid this problem? Thank you

Hello, I just installed this, and its great BTW ! Thanks for all the hard work. I may have done something wrong in the install...I have some problems I just can't seem to figure out. First.. The Dashboard tells me I need to upgrade, although I have the latest version...( should I just ignore that or is that a symptom of something else ) Second... My pilots cannot make the avatars work.
