I have installed and set up kAcars according to SpiritAir's VA instructions ann i keep getting the following error message "Notify System Administrator of Switch Error Data Not Received Switch=verify" I have emailed the CEO of the VA numerous times and not getting any help so I cam on here hoping someone can help me get it to work. These are the instuctions sent to me and I followed them exactly and still getting the error. kACARS:_ I recommend using the kACARS flight tracker. If you do not know how to configure it, here ya go. You want to open kacars, click on the "Options" tab, click on "VA Profiles" in the base URL, put http://spiritairva.com, then in the …

Hi there, I have a user that cannot connect to our site with kACARS V1.0.0.8. We have checked the following: he use the correct base url: http://www.uvsaaf.fsworld.co.za/ He have the correct Username AND Password He use Win 7 ,and he set his program compatibility to Win Xp SP3 AND run as Administrator Firewall AND antivirus turned off I could connect with my kACARS using his username and password. Hello everyone, i tried to start an IFR flight. I fill out the flight number and i pressed the Get Flight Number Info button. Unfortunately when i pressed the Start Flight it gives me this error: Check Flight Level 1k to 50k. Also when i am clicking on the Get Flight Number Info, i received another one error which is this: Notify System Administrator of the Switch Error Data not received Switch=Aicraft. I anyone knows the solution...please help me.

When in alpha testing, when I submitted a PIREP manually it showed up on the PIREPs page, but the flights using kACARS aren't. Can somebody please let me know how to fix this? Thanks!

Mark, a while back you made a post about flight report delay with kacars. You removed the listener for top pilots and made it a cron. Can you share how you did that?

Due to the short falls of FSX and from time to time when FSX freezes and you end up with a CTD after a long flight. It would be nice if kACARS was able to auto save the flight from time to time to prevent this very frustrating event. Would be a nice addition.. Wood

I have a pilot that is running windows 7 and of course as an admin. This program loads and appears to work fine. When entering VA settings it allows the pilot to fill in the information and when he clicks the save button it deletes the information and does not show in the saved VA settings. Any ideas?

I keep getting the switch error along with the URI error and I don't know why. I've searched the forums and followed all the instructions: I'm on Windows 7 and running it as administrator, the site is http://www.virtualsouthwestairlines.com which is hosted through fivedev, and the module is in the correct folder, core/modules/kACARS_Free/KACARS_Free.php Much help appreciated!!

Hi all, I have been helping a friend set up Kacars free. He is not PHPvms nor is he free hosting. I put the module in the directory and filled out the relevant info but cannot connect at all. Does it have to be a PHPvms websit. I have looke arround the forum but cant find anything. The web address is www.jet2virtual.com Any suggestions. I have also put in a php.ini file but it goes ove rmy head. THanks in advance

We just finished uploading a new website but now our Custom KAcars will not connect. We get an unhandled exception error everytime. I have used this install of the custom KAcars for well over a year now with no issues. The web urls and root folders on the site are exactly the same. I am at a loss here. Help!! Chuck CYXU

OK guys, maybe i have found an kAcars error... or not... i dunno. problem is this: I have got one airline that works like a charm. landing rate ok, finances are ok... no issue at all. Now. I have added a second airline (cargo division). I select a new flight that i created for this airline.. i fly it using kAcard (custom !) and when i finish the flight, the landing rate is shown but the finances are at ZERO. I did select the cargo capacity of the airplane when adding it. i also selected "cargo" flight for this specific route. Does anyone know about this or can help me solve this issue? Thanks Lucas

Hello Suddenly I am unable to fly flights with KACARS none of our members can fly anylonger. People are able to login successfully however when they press "GET FLIGHT BID INFO" they get in result "No Flight Found" depsite they have flights in bid. Please assist asap. Thanks & Regards

Quick Question about the "Select Aircraft" option - i now adjusted the ranks and fleet - so with my rank now i can only fly the Dash and not the T7. T7 flights don't show up in the schedule - so far so good, but when starting Kacars i'm able to select any aircraft i want ? Is there something i can do about that ?

Hi, Our v.a. uses custom kACARS and one of our pilots is struggling with a fuel issue, in that 99% of his PIREPs show 0kg fuel usage, even though the log itself shows correct take-off and landing fuel quantities in lbs. Very occasionally he will have a PIREP with the correctly calculated value in kg, but I'm at a loss to figure out why most show 0kg. PIREPs from all other pilots are spot on with the fuel usage the majority of the time, although sometimes I will see a report with a negative value, but there is no indication of midair refuel etc. In all the above situations, I can manually work out the use by subtracting the landing fuel value from the take-off value, a…

Hi all, After installing the latest release of phpvms, Version 2.1.946, I got this error message in kACARS: Call to undefined function iconv() ... (see attatchment). I'm using php version 5.2.9 before update of phpvms following was used in kACARS_Free.php: $rec_xml = trim(utf8_encode(file_get_contents('php://input'))); after update following was used in kACARS_Free.php: $rec_xml = trim(iconv($encoding, "UTF-8", $postText)); Anybody else having this problem? I fixed it by reinserting the line from an older kACARS_Free.php, $rec_xml = trim(utf8_encode(file_get_contents('php://input'))); /BR Benny
