Hello together, How can I create an "Typerating"-Center for phpVMS? I dont need a big system or something like that. The only thing I need is a button to accept the new rank before the pilot will get the next rang. Example: 100h -> Flight Officer -> I must accept -> The pilot will be Flight Officer Thanks for help Martin

Hello friends, I am developing a module so you do not need to create schedules one by one for their pilot. It basically does everything automatically, generating data randomly. But the module is still in beta, I'm looking for users interested in being a Beta Tester for this module so that they can send me a feedback. If interested comment below. Hello, I am looking for some help with phpvms - go figure right? Basically I want to add to each aircraft entry its ZFW and selcal. Ultimately I want to display a ZFW on a pilots bid but I want to walk before I can run. I tried to add selcal but I couldn't get it to update in the admin section or update. I could however get it to show in the aircraft list if I entered the field directly into the database via phpmyadmin. If anyone can point me in the direction of the files I need to alter to take this into account I would appreciate it. I have a local install for testing/building. Has anyone ever made a basic voting booth? I badly need a way for pilot to vote on stuff on my site and right now we have no way to do it. I could use a poll option from a regular forum, but we do not use a regular forum. We use VA Forum2. It would need the option of running multiple polls at once since some would run longer or shorter than others. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place now with this one. I am not sure how to code one up at all using admin section of phpVMS.

I'm currently creating a script that works with my other systems on the server. I have got a page, which when a user logs in successfully, returns the CID, First Name and Last Name from database. I'd like to make it, so when my page renders, it logs the user into phpVMS. Except, I won't have a password, just CID and name. I can get the userID from the database, using MySQL, but apart from that, I can't see any logical way of doing this. Any ideas?

I decided to post in this area because I thought that it was more relevant to addons than paid services (especially because it's free ) FS Trader (http://fstrader.servebbs.net) is a forum-type site that specializes in sharing addons. Although the name says "Trader", you don't have to trade, but just share, request, etc. The site is newly made, so there isn't much there, but if people start using it, that'll change instantly. Also, there may be some changes to the site itself over the next couple of weeks due to theme changes and anticipated software upgrades. Come check us out! P.S. As soon as I have a "small community" userbase I'll probably be looking into a full dom…

Hi all Could someone please help me out, I think the solution is so simple but I just can't see it with limited PHP skills. Ok I have multiple airlines but my schedules all come under the airline code "NEX" as the other airlines are for charters, code share etc. so I have filtered my NEX schedules on the results.tpl like so which works a treat: <?php foreach($allroutes as $route) { if ($route->code != 'NEX') continue; But I wanted to show two or more airline codes in the schedule results.tpl like "NEX" and"3XE" but not any others how would I adjust the code? I've tried a few things but with no success. Many thanks

Dear Community I came up with an idear about an add-on for phpvms, well to be honest i saw this on another va - it was called "on time index" The Script should compare the sheduled departure and arrival time (in phpvms) and the real departure an arrival time (system time). If the sheduled and the real departure or arrival time is like the one insert in the phpvms shedule it gaves you 100% on time (viewable in your profile or on a special side) If you departed to late or arrived to early the script will decrease or increase your on time percentage. Hi Guys, Im new to phpVMS and learning rapidly!! What I would like to create is a schedule request form, that my pilots can use to request new schedules to be added. When the form is submitted, the schedule will be inserted into the database, but with a "PENDING" sort of status. The Admins will be emailed that there is a "PENDING" Schedule request. The admins will then reject or approve the schedule and it is then added to the VA's list. The Pilot will then be emailed if the schedule has been approved or not. has anyone done anything similar, or can someone point me in the right direction of where to start? Many Thanks Kev

Not sure if i have posted this in the correct thread however i have come up with what i think to be a good idea! Basically i have noticed alot of airlines list an aircraft as a Wet Lease from another, so maybe we could maybe make or come up with a module which alows a Marketplace where people can list aircraft they are willing to lease out for a fixed time. I know this sounds silly as you can add aircraft at no cost which brings me on to my next idea. We as airlines earn Millions on Virtual $$$ and have nothing to really spend it on other than fuel and external costs... So how about make it cost us our virtual dollars to lease or buy new aircraft? Might be sounding a lit…

Hi man! I wanted to know if you can also pay for free flights or charter . Now if a pilot makes a flight by checking the " charter flight" option in the ACARS , it is not paid and are not even calculated fuel costs . I wish I could also pay those who make free flights , perhaps by calculating a percentage less than the full pay ... Thanks

Mitchell is already building one but as far as i know, it works internal in phpvms. I am currently also developing one which you can already see on http://www.panam-airways.com/ . Its not yet ready (will be in 3-4 days maybe). Just type in Frankfurt and as arrival London, then click submit.. but as i said, not yet ready. It will look like a real airlines booking system

Having some issues with logging in externally (as in outwith my main site). Happening on both my Portal (www.freshjetvirtual.com/portal) and mobile site (m.freshjetvirtual.com). Both login forms have blank actions and so submit to themselves and I handle the login on the same page. It uses the Auth::ProcessLogin() function and seems to happily log the user in, however the user is then redirected using javascript, using the portal as an example, to the home page, otherwise the incorrect password error is displayed. However, once redirected, the user is logged out again and hence redirected back to the login page. The issue here is that it works fine on desktop computers, …
