Have some problem adding airports. My VA is based in Alaska, and most of our routes only have 3 letter codes. In the section where you add airport, it states a 4 letter code. Is there a way to let it accept 3 letter airports. I am unable to add a airport. I get this error. There was an error adding the airport and if I do a look up for a 4 letter airport is stays in "Fetching Data..." Any ideas? Eddie

Hi all you budding FSacars experts, I need a little help. When I set up at my departure airport I start FSacars and it works fine except fr one thing. When I click to get the flight from my VA it goes and gets only the first flight in the database. I have tried manually imputting the data, but clicking get from VA reverts it all back to the first flight in the list. It appears to default to the first schedule in the list whatever. Any help appreciated. John

Hi all, Not really that PHPVMS oriantated but, does anyone know how you would go about putting a live metar report on a website? Also, would this be something that could be intergrated into a PHPVMS module or something? cheers

I filed a manual pirep to test the financials and I noticed a big problem which will get me fined by the FAA. ;D The aircraft I used was a Dash 8 with a max passenger load of 65. After I reset the PIREP data it showed I had a load count of 193 passengers. I've already written up my pilot for over loading his plane. Any idea why it over doubled the max amount?

I just want to add to the "pilots_list.tpl" where the pilot last landed at after the total hours are listed. Now, I can obviously add <th>Last Location</th> for the option in the table but how/where to I get that data from?? I am a bit confused how I would code that?! I want to pull the Last entry in pireps:arricao in the database for the pilot, but I am at a loss for how to code the line pertaining to it. I was thinking: <td><?php echo PilotData::GetFieldValue($pireps->arricao, 'Last Location'); ?></td> But that is obviously stupid

Hi, Recently started work on a new VA ..... Came across your site and it seems you guys may have saved me a lot of time A few questions first, I have registered and successfully integrated php VMS in the back end and have a VA registered with you guys. To use XAcars, do I need to install the data they have on their website (I am aware for pilots we must put in the details on the application) but am I right to assume that now php VMS is installed, I don't need to do anything else server side for XAcars to work with our site. I've designed a Pilot ID Card style avatar that is dynamically updated, how can i put this in place of the pilot normal avatar? I've tried editing the template for the profile by putting a standard php include to the custom script but it says it does not exist yet I know it does? I have a problem with one pilots flights.In his profile it shows him at 25 flights with the rank of First Officer. If you look at the log book he should have around 75 flights. He has 113.52 hours which should give him the rank of I have my logbook paginated @ 25 per page. I took the paginate page down and upload the the default template and still the same problem. I believe there is a problem with the finance data. Right now the finance data has our pilot pay total as of 65 million dollars. Even if every pilot made our top pay of $180 * 1100 total hours = Total Pilot Pay should be $198,000. Good eve to all, well some new pilots tried to register at my VA. They fill all the parameters (First Name, Last Name...) even the capcha and then finally the pressed "REGISTER!" and received the message "Could not open socket" How to solve the problem? Hey, So the registration error is still existing. What I'd like to do is disable the reCaptcha and use it as an admin only. I.e. to manually recruit pilots. The problem I am having though is reCaptcha is still screwing up and I can't seem to remove it. I've followed the instructions in a previous post but that just results in a white page. Hi , I have searched the forum but cant seem to find anything on this. I would like to be able to give abonus payment to pilots for their landing rate and if they complete a long haul flight online. Hello everybody, I have downloaded the acarsd (ACARS decoder). I've entered all my information, like airports, flight numbers, aircraft, airlines, and some database info as well. I know this is a really broad question, but having no knowledge of ACARS...what do I do next? I can't seem to find a tutorial. Also, can someone explain how I integrate ACARS with my pilots? Is there like a code that pilots use? Or a server? Thanks!

Hello, I'm re-asking for help because after the first post nobody answer me. I'm trying to get a VA online, I have ehost as hosting, uploading phpvms via cyberduck after creating a database, just following the manual instruction. When i paste the install.php URL in my browser, error 500 shows up, i've tried to delete the .htaccess file but nothing has changed. I've also contacted ghost support but they answer me they don't give support for third party. Could someone please help me?

after many hours of searching and trying things I cant seem to fix this. I have created a template from a free html template, the template itself works like a charm. Only, when i go to the schedules i allready see there is an error because the flight search is listed instead of shown correctly. I am using the phpvms 5.5 My layout.php has many jquery in it. When i remove them the template does not work anymore. Those jquery's are in the top and in the end footer section. all related to the JS folder within the skin itself.
