Hi, is good receive emails when a new pilot is registered, etc. However, if the actual pilots send much pireps is a continous emails messages inbox email folder. ¿How can I disable only the new pirep send notification? Thanks.

Hi, My schedule system at vDAL was recently reworked, but due to the large amount of schedules, it takes up to 20 seconds (for some pilots) to load the page, and i need to fix this. If anybody could help me out, that would be great, i have tried, but gotten nothing but fatal errors... thanks.

I have installed a second phpvms system for another VA. There I see something odd on the show pirep page. I have a sidebar section which is only visible when a pilot is logged in. I would also like this section show some user data. What code would I need to make it display the pilots name. I've already tried <?php echo $userinfo->firstname . ' ' . $userinfo->lastname; ?>! But this doesn't show anything. I would be much obliged if someone could tell me the code i need. Thanks

Hi guys, as Johannesburg now officially has changed from FAJS to FAOR, I would like to ammend that for my VA as well. Of course I can edit the schedules, but how about the airport database itself (for example for the airport being shown on the map correctly): Is there a way I can change this as well (tried, but did not succeed), or does somebody has to to that at the main database? Where are the flight phases created? Are they in a file, or part of Acars? I ask, because I want to change the standard names. My VA is Military based, and my aircraft do not do 'boarding' and 'taxi to gate', so I want to change the names rgds

Hi Guys, I'm currently contemplating a module to "validate" pilots with a validation email. You know the drill: you sign up for something, you get an email and then you click on the link and you get validated. PHPvms currently doesn't support this - we only have the option to let everyone in or to manually validate people. So I thought this might be a good idea. All I have to do is set pilots to not be automatically validated and then to write a module which validates them when clicking on a link. Now, the question is, what to put in the link? I thought about the 'salt' field, which is unique for each user and also quite cryptic. Just putting a pilotid in the link w…

Hi again, I'm skinning my page and learning something new about it everyday. I guess I got promoted from "noob" to "a little less noob" I noticed a string "" on the left-top corner of the page background. It's present even on the default skin, so I guess I made mistake somewhere in "core" folder. Can anyone have an idea where should I look for it? Hi, I see that http://greatairways.net/index.php/pireps/viewreport/7977. It every 5 minutes a postion report. It is a default value of FSACARS or it airline develop this option only for their? If it is a default function, What column it use? And How is the content of this column?

Good morning, i am starting a small va mostly for myself has i could not find one i liked that offered the kind of flights i enjoy. Anyway i am prop below average at php but fine with html and css. The problem i am having is let say i make some small changes in the css to change the font size, so i make the change and upload the file however the changes i have made do not take effect then after waiting a while maybe 2 mins maybe 20 the changes take effect. In addition i added some flights to the database then went to view them to have a look at the formatting and they where not there. I would like to know, what code would I need to get the percentage of flights done with each recording tool, like kacars,fspax,xacars and manual. The out come would be something like: 80% mACARS 55%xacars 60% fspax 30% manual Those figures are not accurate in the slightest, just used them to illustrate my point. I do not want this to look at just the current months pirep count, but the entire pirep count for the VA

I am not sure if this is the right place for this question. I have a few different airlines in my VA, I have a cargo division, code MHK, but it is too similar to the main code MH (Malaysia Airlines) And my flight tracking software doesn't pick it up, and when filed it adds the K in the number field and Malaysia Airlines as the airline. My Question is if I change the MHK code to something different like MK would it affect anything, if so how can I fix it?

I have tried re-setting password for my cpanel. Went through the reset, let vms reset password and followed instructions. Recieved password and pasted it into my cPanel log in and it says that login is invalid. Want to reset both user name and password, but I am now lost without any idea to accomplish that task. I am having issues filing pireps with a new installation of phpVMS, after running the dbtest.php I encounter this error. I seem to be missing a file? After looking through and downloading phpvms again I cannot find the file, even on github. What else can I do to solve this error. Thanks.

just one thing we noticed in my VA. Sometimes it can take 12 hours for an admin to authorise a Pirep on my VA, no major drama;s But, if a pilot flies from A to B, and the pirep is not yet validated by Admin, the aircraft still shows available to others at A Is there are way to lock out any aircraft pending pireps, until authorised, to stop duplicate use?

Hello, We are having problems with our schedules system. For example If I search for a schedule the page does not load any schedules and will appear blank. Other members are able to view a few and then if they click on them to get the dispatch details, they go blank again. Examples This is what loads after pressing 'Search' Any ideas?

I am getting a format like : Total Hours Flown: 1400:19:15 I get this on multiple areas of my site. I can deal with the minutes but I would like to loose the seconds. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I made a few edits here and there that I found in that format but nothing changed.
