Is it possible to do this: I want to create a php url for an external URL (eg. youtube) Can you do this --> www.youtube.com translates to <?php echo YOUTUBE_URL?> and the youtube url entered would go there hope that makes sense Thanks!

Good morning Gents, I have an interesting question concerning the VA Central rating system. Based on the criteria posted at VA Central: We as a Military (USAF) VA are penalized for our lack of profitable routes, or lack of scheduled routes in general. We don't carry Pax so we have no financial logs with a profit or loose column. We don't pay for fuel....tax payers do. My point is this, phpvms was developed for the commercial VA and it works. But with us, 99.9999% of all our flights are charter based with maybe a handful of scheduled routes. We fly cargo basically. So technically there are no financial ledgers that we are concerned with. I'm trying to make a booking module, and I don't get any errors, but it doesn't update the flight schedules. I think it has something to do with the mySQL update. HI, I added a few new pages via the admin page then all the info I wanted about the hub was also added. when I went to view it all I got was a blank page with the writing on, no background or skin layout. So then I went to link the css sheet to each page via cpanel editor, then all I got was the back ground image no skin layout or writing. I cannot seem to get both of them together, it appears as if it is not reading the skin layout and not displaying correctly. I want to add 6 pages showing detail's of the hubs and the pilots. I was getting a 500 internal server error for the Admin Center. Go Daddy then reset the website. Hi We have some code to pull the airline logo for our recent flights board - but I would like to return the same for the live flight info. For some reason the same code does not work and instead of returning the airline logo it returns VTA as the answer all the time for every flight and displays the airline logo. The code we use for the recent flight board is below and works fine. I have tried editing it but cannot find the solution. Should it be looking at the $PIREP data or something else? Just curious, Do you all have support for ALL versions of flight simulators such as X-plane , Prepar3D and FSX Steam on your ACRS devices? And if so, what ACARS devices do you use on your site so not to exclude any simmers? I ask because I am in charge of building a new airline and Im not sure which way to go. I know one ACARS in particular only supports FSX and FS9. That is certainly a no go as far as I am concerned. SmartCars? Kinda of hard for a start up VA to pay that much for a script when not knowing if their airline is ever going to take off or not. After a lot of problems, and with the help of Nabeel at Fivedev, I've finally manged to install phpVMS. Now I've come across another problem. Whenever I try to add airports manually I get an error "There was an error adding the airport". If I try to "look up" an airport, the system just hangs and doesn't do anything. I've now tried this using two different installs and with two different paid hosts. I've looked through this forum and can see that others have had the same problem in the past, but can't see any solutions to the problem. It seems that not all my pilots when they fly are being picked up by the acars map, yet they are still able to file so it is not a huge problem, but would like to see them on the map. Would anyone know a reason as to why not all the pilots flying will show on the map?

Hi all, I hope somebody can help me. I installed the latest version today (fresh install). All went well there, but..... When I use my XP computer with IE6 the admin menu is compressed to the side bar, but on my vista one it is fine. Any ideas ? Lastly, when I try to add an airport I put in the ICAO code and click lookup, It doesnt do a lookup and at bottom left I get "error on page". I checked the lookup site and that seems to be working. Now I am stuck, any help would be appreciated. IO like the program, very nice Thanks John

Updated to 1.2 and now the map doesnt work on Live Map link, http://www.easternvirtualairways.com/eva/index.php/acars but it works fine on all other pages. Winmerg says files are identical ??? Dave.

Hello, I just downloaded the software and uploaded it to my webserver. I opened the install.php but it said I have to set permission on some folders. I did that. Okay so i get a pm in the forums about the website with some major probs i suppose......??? We are changing over to phpVMS. Since we cant convert our FSACARS log. I am having each person manually add their pireps from their logs. I noticed that we hare having some trouble. One person has 75 flights entered with only 4 hours. What is the correct time chart to enter the time in? Here is how I am doing it Example 34 minute flight = 0.34 1 hour 20 minute flight = 1.20 Am I correct?

How long does the Bid stay in someones flight? Im getting a problem with members bidding on flights then not flying them for whatever reason then going in-active, this leaves loads of my schedule missing because they are stuck in limbo! How can i see who has bids outstanding and also so can we have a global bid reset button so i can free all my schedule from forgetful and non-active pilots!! ?? Thanks, Dave.

Well, I fired off my large import before I went to bed last night and when I checked it is morning it appears that all 3400 of my routes were added. But, not one of my airports were. Here is output of one of the imports: ICAO PANC not added... retriving information: Imported IPG26 (PAJN to PANC) ICAO PANC not added... retriving information: Found: PANC - (,), airport added I just fired off the import again since I'm getting ready to leave for work so hopefully they will add the airport. Any suggestions if they don't?
