I have made 2 flights and when i try to go and fly them, they dont show up. I am very new to this site and have been looking for about 3 hours and cant find anything on it. Also fsacars doesnt show flights from va also. If anyone can help please do. thanks in advance.

G'day all, I have a small question about pilot ranks in phpvms 5.5.2.72. Specifically, is it possible to designate special "management" ranks to staff member accounts without having to be tied to a flight hours count? Our temporary solution is to just give staff accounts an unrealistically high number of hours that regular pilots won't hit, but this is not idea. http://ops.singaporevirtualairlines.org/index.php/rank Am comfortable with editing tables in phpmyadmin and phpfiles via ftp. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello, I'm considering using phpVMS and was wondering if their are manger roles built into the system? An example would be: A HR role to take care of all the new pilots applications, hiring, firing, etc. A hub manager role to take care of their hubs PIREPS? I'm assuming we can have hubs? Or does the system only allow one person to do all this. If it doesn't I think it would be cool to have the above added to help the flow of things so one person doesn't get over worked. ;D Thanks!

It would be a nice to have feature, the option to mark a custom field on the PIREP form as 'mandatory'. Probably thinking in a future release Keep up the good work!

Please Help... is the a code or a way to separate pilots and staff member ranks. Ex. Pilots ranks would calculate automatically based on hours and Staff ranks would be manually assigned.

A new pilot ran into a problem filing a manual pirep. Every time he selected the airline, the dropdown menu for the departure airport only displayed 2 airports. While my screen displays this: His displays this: I'm using IE8. He is using Firefox. I don't have Firefox, but was able to replicate the problem, using Google Chrome. Any thoughts on what the problem is. He can display all the dearture airports until he selects the airline. There is no problem displaying the destination airports.

Hello, I was hoping someone could help with changing this code so the pilots dont need to use the dropdown box just to select our Airline which is the only one listed there anyway.. I am looking at the PIREP.php and pirep_new.tpl files pirep_new.tpl at line 11 Is there any way I can customise this code to give no option to select and have my Airline preselected instead ? Any help would be mostly appreciated. Regards Adam

Hey folks hoping somebody can help me. ive just set up PHPvms and got everything working how i want to. However because we are a va without any limits we let pilots fly where ever they want to. so in order for our pilots to create a charter flight in smartcars i found an airport databse with 40k+ airports. Thats all well and good until you go to file a manual Pirep. when you click the dropdown box for the airports the browser crashes as its wanting to load them all. and when it doesnt crash it takes forever to scroll through to find your airport. My question is this. is there a way in which i can disable the dropdown box and have the user instead type in …

Hi nabeel, I discovered a point which is a bit confusing while using firefox or IE : When entering a PIREP manually, firefox limits departure airport to the airports in existing schedules (OK) but IE does not... Is it possible to remove departure airport limitation as we would like our pilot to do some charter flights... and choose their own departure airports... ? Cheers !

Just noticed when I went to do a manual pirep that it wouldn't let me because I hadn't bid on it? Never noticed this before as I usually FsP or ACARS. Is this a bug or are you supposed to bid on flights now before flying/filing them. (Using Version 1.2.687 if it helps)

I think I had this problem long ago, but don't remember what cured it. The drop down menu for the departure airport disappears after selecting the airline and if the airline is deselected, the list of airports is incomplete. The arrival airports are fine. Any Ideas?

Hi there, i have a weired question. We are using phpvms for our business virtual airline. So we have created a "schedule" and removed afterwards the App / Dep airports directly from the database with phpmyadmin. So every pilot can take his aircraft and fly where he wants to fly. I have noticed now that when for example the pilot starts XACARS and the Fligthsim and loads a FlightNr. into XACARS (screenshot) than the live map shows the current position with the aircraft icon but also shows a route also on the map. Here my question: 1) Can this be disabled, so that i only see the aircraft symbol and not the 2 Towers from Arrivial and depature airport connected with the …

I am wanting to get rid of the GOOGLE map that shows up on the flight schedule view page. I want to replace it with the Great Circle Map one. What is the correct code to show the flights' route on GCM instead of GOOGLE? I think that I will need to change the MODULE to be able to remove the GOOGLE map itself, but what code do you place in the public_html/core/templates/schedule_details.tpl?

probably a simple question, AND has nothing to do with an issue! What do I need to add/change to control the zoom level on the live map? I checked the Google API site, and must have been looking in the wrong area since the code was somewhat different from what is in the program. Thanks!

I just tried to connect to see if everything works the way it should, and more or less is does. But, as soon as my flight was displayed on the map, the map was zoomed in to the maximum - why's that Should actually look like this And, i then closed Kacars & FS but the flight is still displayed as "taxiing to rwy" - more than 4 hours later - i guess this is just a matter of (in)correct settings, is it ?
