In light of recent talks about pilot ranks, I failed to ask one question. I want to create a Inactive pilot rank. That is easy enough, BUT what to do about the hours? Do I set it for some un godly amount so no other pilot gets updated to that rank? Meaning that the inactive pilot gets this rank manually via the ACP? It would be great if the system recoginzed users who have not filed a pirep in say 3 months and move them inactive and give them that rank as well.

i been gone for a few, no am back! but there is one thing on my mind, lets say you create a page of operations for example and today is friday how would i call flights only on friday to show up there where pilots can book faster instead of heading to the schedules page.

I have been having an issue for a week or more where one of my pilot will submit PIREPS, I approve them and they never show up on his PIREP list. It now appears that this has extended to another pilot. The appear in my recent pireps list in the admin center but not in their recent pireps list in their profile. Both pilots have had no problem until recently. Any ideas on that one?

Hello y'all, I just checked my website provider and I posted on their forum some questions about installing phpVMS. The answer was: "It (phpVMS) will not run as the InnoDB tables are not permitted." Is there any other possibilities to make phpVMS run in this case?? Thanks Alex

Live Acars Map

We have a flight that just remains showing on the Live ACARS map. The flight was never finished and the status says FSACRS Closed. Is the only way to get this off of the map to use the "Reset Acars" link in the Maintenance options? Is there a way to flush the acarsdata database on a timed schedule? Like every hour all data gets dumped. Would this mess with any flights that are actually flying and reporting through ACARS. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i have just noticed the following error when filing a manual pirep, Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /srv/www/easyjetva.com/public_html/core/common/LandingstatsData.class.php on line 23 I take its because there is no value going into that field, what would be the best option to fix this, im thinking allow null in the database? Or is there something else that would do it.

One little question, on deleting pilot from admin panel all register including pireps etc... are deleting too. But for example, the deleted pilot ID was DDD002, but on register a new pilot the ID is 003 and the pilots table appear DDD001 , DDD003. Any chance to continue according database ID. Thanks again.

Hi All. I am currently setting up a VA for an airline that runs on a simulator other than msfs or xplane. It is FlightGear which is a free open source sim. It's not quite upto all the bells and whistles that the aforementioned sims have, but i want to provide a top notch va for the community there. FlightGear has its own multiplayer servers and a flight can be tracked via these, so i would like to know if the Acars systems can be adapted to point to servers other than msfs etc? Where would i begin looking? i have very limited programming skills unfortunately.. Thanks Alex

I have viewed as many posts containing the word RANK as possible and none of the search facilities have shown a full answer. As with most VA's now we have the rank structure.At the moment this rank structure is automatic by hours flown. Now that i have Simpilots excellent EXAMcenter add on i would like to still have auto ranks to a certain level, then the pilot must pass an exam before moving any further up the rank structure. Is this possible? Thanks for your patience.

How can I limit the amount of flight plans (schedules) listed when searching for flight plans? before I added schedules to my site that was NOT a problem, had only a few of them... BUT! Now I have added more than 1,300 schedules and the list is just Too BIG!!! I would like to list in chuncks of 25 for example, or 12, maybe 15 in a page format at a time, not all of them. Is it posible in phpvms to do this, and where is the config file to do it? local.config or app.config? have been searching them, but can´t find any reference to accomplish this.

Hiya, Before I carry let me apologise, I really do not know how to do any coding stuff etc for my VA. I am quite happy doing the admin side of things like adding flightplans, aircraft and all the other stuff that needs doing but actually coding stuff into the website is not my cup of tea! So, I will probably be asking lots of questions in this thread until I am happy with my site, apologies again! I do search for things to try and find answers but sometimes the answers are not just available to what you actually require! so, here goes! When I search a schedule on the schedules the page goes to action.php/schedules/view and it is missing the skin..it is just a white page with the flight information and it is the only page that I have found that does this...this happened after I put in a new skin...any ideas? Thnx

Hey guys ! I have a current Allegiant Air timetable and I'm having trouble scheduling 46 tail numbers amongst 244 routes. It feels like I don't have enough planes to route every plane to and from each hub. I need help looping tail numbers because all the flights are at different times of day and different days of the week and I always run out of planes before I can complete the schedule. Weird. My pilot rank is where it should be to be promoted to the next level, but it is NOT doing it?! I have checked, but I can't figure out why it is not. It has worked fine in the past for people, but I notice mine is not, as I just went over 1300 hours (includes transferred hours), and it just says in my profile "You have 1 hours left until your promotion to Senior Captain".

Hi, I am having a bit of trouble with my VA, when I go to load up the schedules page it comes up with this error - Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Schedules::view' was given in /home/bmavirtu/public_html/core/classes/MainController.class.php on line 218 We have tryed re-putting on the php file and there is no change. EN The planes are not assessed on the map, using Dolomynum, I see the aircraft flying on IVAO. Anyone have a guess of what might be, because before the planes appeared on the map, not anymore. What files will be responsible for the map which replaced can solve the problem? PT-BR Os avioes não estão aprecendo no mapa, usando o Dolomynum, consigo ver as aeronaves voando na IVAO.
