I was watching some stuff on the GoogleDevelopers channel and fell in love with HTML5. But I have a few questions because I have chosen to use HTML 5 to build my virtual airlines new site. 1. Hi there, just experienced a type of hacking, i came on my cpanel and noticed 25 pending apps all with silly names, how do i stop this? is there anyway to get a script that will not add any pending pilots to the roster and so they dont use up IDS? now the next real pilot that signs up will have an ID starting at 64 ish sorry for brief messages, trying to sort this

Hi, I recently posted regarding a type of hacking. I was in fact wrong it was more like spamming but im sure you's can understand how stressful it was writing the post and cancelling dozens of spoiled registrations. I then decided to temporary close my website - Its been a few days now and we are still receiving information from the spammers such as chat logs which would suggest that they haven't stopped - or don't plan to any time soon I was wondering if there was a way just to close registration temporary - not just hiding the registration page as I am sure they will be able to mess about with the URL's, but actually to get rid of it for a while so the current users …

Nabeel is there a parser or a way i can make a modification to import schedules to the system from IATA codes insted of ICAO codes? I have a massive sheet with new schedules all listed in IATA codes, i thought id try a sneaky test import and change to the geo names server but didnt work. Im just trying to save me a days work to convert the codes.

I noticed a small flaw in phpVMS with regards to the difference between the system's representation of time and the visual presentation of that time. Some time ago for example I pointed out that in the Schedules form it asks the administrator to enter the duration of the flight in HH:MM format (which is actually the best). Each time my pilots attempt to bid on a flight they report getting a "No Route Passed" error. I have a feeling it has to do with the script for the skin. However, I did not create the skin or the website. Would someone be able to take a look or provide a solution?

I've created a HR group and I have someone I trust enough to manage and delete pilots but I don't want him to manage any other parts of my site. I've given that group ACCESS_ADMIN and EDIT_PILOTS but I've noticed that they can not do everything I'd like them to. They can not "change Pilot Groups", "Reset Passwords", or "Delete Pilots". My question to you PHP gurus is do you know of any way to adjust the code for this group so I can add those rights to it? The delete feature is really what I want but if all three can be done that would be great! Thanks, Keith

Hey guys, I'm having problems, and when I added ten more flights to my schedules and then I noticed in the admin, they are not showing the rest. Here's of a screen shot of it. But it does show all of the flights in the flight schedule page. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? Any help would be great!

Hi all, I have been using phpvms for about 2 months now and I think I have finally figured out most of it I.E when i need to change something which .TPL file I need to edit. But what I can't seem to get my head around is the schedules, I have bought the simpilot Tour System add on which I have got to work after a fashion. This is only because of my schedules, I have had to add a load of schedules which I had not intended on adding just to get the Tour System to work. So my question is has anyone else got the tour system and if so how did you set up the schedules in order to make it work correctly, also my schedules seem to be quite eratic due to the fact that I do not…

Hullo On my site (flyeug.co.uk) I'm not receiving any emails when pilots register. I have no idea if pilots are getting emails, but emails are working on another site hosted on the same account which is why I didn't think it would be worth bringing up in the fivedev forum. Any ideas?

Hi, After setting up my phpvms I have created my scheduels in csv format and have enclosed a screenshot below. What I want to know is if the aircraft will get stuck at their destination airport and not be able to return, in the below screenshot is my csv file (or a bit of it anyway. If the aircraft would get stuck at their destination airport does anybody know of an add on for phpvms that instead of allocating an aircraft for a flight chooses any aircraft at the departure airport for a flight. I just need quick help Regarding CSV file it was not about uploading file that i know but uploading it without getting any Error from database Suppose we have schedules table and we export them via phpmyadmin in a format of CSV then after some amendments how we can re upload it do we save it into CSV format or other because i tried it but i am getting errors from Database Invalid field count in CSV input on line 1. regards Asmara
