HI, I have been messing about for a few days not but cant seem to get the right code. I want to update a the pireps table flighttype field where flightnum = T1%% that's not important but i cant get it to run. Basically i have tours that i have now created a separate flighttype for, at the moment they are all in there as P for passenger flights, i want to update them to T for tours as im now reporting in the profiles flight types. Any help would be appreciated. Slightly going mad with banging my head against a wall

hi all i moved my phpvms to new domain with all data and every thing is ok but i recive this error when login: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home2/sudansky/public_html/sudva/core/app.config.php:1) in /home2/sudansky/public_html/sudva/core/classes/Util.class.php on line 58 any tips ? problem solved by change encode to (encode in utf-8 without bom).. use notebad++

Hi folks A search didn't bring up anything relevant, so can anyone help? As of yesterday Firefox only displays my site (www.palegrevirtual.com) as plain text, with no layout or images. IE, Opera and Chrome all display correctly, but not Firefox, even with all add-ons disabled. The only admin activity on the site has been to add more routes, nothing in the structure has changed recently, so I'm at a loss to understand this. I doubt that this is an error caused by phpvms, but perhaps there is something in the coding that I could change to ensure compatibility with all browsers? None of my pilots use FF so it's not an immediate issue, but when we officially open in January…

I got my site up, I want my staff ID to be CFC001, CFC002 and so on. I want my pilots ID to be CFC101, CFC102 and so on. How do I go about changing this? I changed 2 pilots ID's to 101 and then 102 and then if another pilot signs up it puts them at CFC005 and I have to manually change this. Help plz and thanks

Hello all, I'm having problems with some of the characters on my website. My site is in french, so I need accents like è, é, à , etc... As you can see on my frontpage (http://www.transquebec.org/operations/) the accents are not displaying correctly, but only in some places like the news of the menu bar... it shows a square instead. My DB is in UTF-8, my local.config also... I've tried everything... Thanks for your help! Eric

how do I get the pilot ID variable? I think it's $pilotcode or something but I think you need a line of code to acctually get the pilot id and put it in the variable. plz help

I'm having a problem with the live map on my VA. Whenever somebody is flying, the information does not appear correctly in the table under the live map and in the tooltip bubble. I've tried using both KACARS and XACARS with the same results. This is what happens: I did a bit of digging around in the phpVMS source code and I found acarsmap.tpl which seemed relevant to the problem. Hey guys, Not sure if you are experiencing this but AAvirtual.net has been hacked twice this week. They are able to get in to user accounts, they only get in to exec staff accounts and go directly to the admin panel. They know exactly where to go because of the track on the website. They have deleted at least a hundred of our pilots and continually do so. I really am asking if anybody here is doing this to kindly stop or if anyone knows how to stop this please do help. 173.245.52.14 is the IP for the access to the sites pages, its from Vietnam so its obvious that its from a proxy. On the current flight part of my sidebar, and the live map, more than 2 hours later it still shows a flight me and another guy did, also, it shows one of the flights in both places, at least 10 times in a row of the same thing. Any ideas?

Hi all, I've made a custom skin for my virtual airline which is currently under development. However I'm not sure how I'm going to make dropdown menus for the navbar. I would like to remove the Pireps list from the pilot public profile, would someone be able to tell me how to get rid of it please, the reason for wanting to remove it is so I can skin it, otherwise when the PIREPS list is called on the pilot public profile it will create a duplicate skin. As always any help appreciated

Hi All, I am also having trouble with airports not being add when importing new routes. Also when you try to add them manual if you enter the Airport ICAO Code then press Look Up the form displays Fetching airport data... and stops no data ever displays. I have cleared the cache. Any help please. Also can anyone tell me what database and where it uses to look this info up from? Thank you. David

OK, I ask too many questions... I have modules in development involving MySQL tables. These often involve adding and getting data from these tables. However, I can never get them to work. I try copying from other modules but still nothing. Submitting Data Say I wanted to have a user complete a form and submit it. The data would then be inserted to a MySQL table. How does this work? I am aware I will need a module class file for this as well but I'm not sure on the exact code. What would the code be for the submit button to run the function that inserts the data, and what would the PHP function code look like? Is it as simple as the SQL followed by mysql_query($sql); ? …
