I have a question. Well, i use the PHPVMS with FsPax, i tried to send the PIREP directly from FsPax to VA's PHPVMS without File a Report from the Pilot Center. 2 times got it successfuly and when i went to the Admin Panel, I saw it as a PIREP and i accepted... But, the last 3 days i do it that, the system isn't show me the PIREP and i must to go from the Pilot Center to File it... Hi All, I am trialling using FSPax on our site and have two issues that I was wondering if anyone else had experienced. The first is the display of the pirep on the site after it has been submitted. For some reason there is a "n" in front of each line of text. Usually that is where the time of each event is logged but FSPax doesn't record that information so I assume it has something to do with that. Nonetheless does anyone know how I can remove the "n"? Hello Today, I've done my first flight. I have an problem with the finances in phpVMS. phpVMS is set up in lbs for fuel. The price is 0.45 euro / lb and the fuel surcharge is set to 5. I've done this flight. I used 7813 lbs of fuel ==> 7813 X 0.45 = 3515.18 euros. In phpVMS, when I see the finances reports, the fuel costs are -23 630 euros. It is the first flight done and there are not any other flight. What do I have to do to reduce the fuel costs (and to use the good price for the next flights)? Thanks Stéphane

Hello I have looked around for a fix for this problem but have not been able to come up with anything to fix this. what i need is to take the fuel burn stats down to 2 place instead of the current 9 places i have tried the format_number but it doesn't seem to be working i'm not sure what i need to do to get this working. Hi Nabeel. I know this has been fixed and kicked up and put back to rest soooooo many times, but, none the less, I must kick a dead dog back to life yet again. I just did a flight from KLAX-KMCI in a B767 In the ACARS log, it shows me using 41148 lbs of fuel. So I sent my pirep, go in to accept it, and look and it says I used 41148 gallons of fuel. I do have all my stuff set to gallons, but apparently ACARS does not see it that way. So I plugged the correct info in to the pirep and submitted my change and it actually went from loosing 131,00 some odd Dollars that flight to an actual profit. Part of every pilot's obligation is to ensure that he has ample fuel on board to complete his flight with reserve fuel to take care of unexpected in flight events. At the same time, he does not want to "overfill" which along with adverse effects caused by excess weight on approaches and landings at the destination airport also eats into company finances. Our flight sims are set to the Imperial system which means that our fuel load readings are in Pounds (Lbs). Just a quick question about how other VA's handle this problem. As of this morning, FBO Clay Lacey Aviation/KBFI is charging for 100LL Avgas $7.07/gal. = $1.18/lb. and for Jet A $5.95/gal. = $0.87/lb. That is quite a difference, so how do you get around only having one fuel unit in PHPvms, and still try to reach realism with your VA expenses? Kind Regards Grizz

I have noticed my fuel price on each pirep is getting higher. is this whats suppose to happen? All my fuel prices are set to 0 but when a flight is done the price comes through at over $700 per Kg

I have routes that don't all require refueling so I set the price to 0 if a pilot doesn't refuel. It appears the system is still charging me for the fuel. Many of the airports in Alaska don't have fuel so the pilots take enough for the return trip.

Right now all my airports are set to 0 for live pricing. It appears that when a route is flown out of the US and it can't get a live price from the api it is not using the default price I have in the config. Hello all, Afaik the fuel price in phpvms is 3.10 USD/lb by default, right? At least that's what is still set in mine... Now I found this site though, and I'm confused: http://www.iata.org/publications/economics/fuel-monitor/Pages/price-analysis.aspx It says here that in Europe and US the fuel price is roughly 290 cents per gallon? Now, A gallon of jet-a is apperently 6.6 lb depending on the temperature, so that would mean the fuelprice is not 3.10 usd per lb but 2.9 usd per gallon, which is 6.6lb which would come down to approx 43 cents per lb? anyone can shed a light on this, would be much appreciated by more than just myself, I'm sure

I've got beta 808 installed. I added to airports and left the fuel to "0" so it would automatically calculate the fuel. I then went and filed a manual PIREP to see what fuel charges would be like. When I looked at the data there was no fuel prices taken out at all. I then went and change the fuel price to $2.20 and then did another manual pirep. This time it showed how much money is fuel spent. Am I missing something or is this a bug? Thanks, Keith

My Fuelprices in German Airports doesnt change. They are allways on default prices 5.10. Hi all does anyone else have a problem with fuel calculations? When a flight is logged the fuel is charged at 0 even though in the local.config.php it's 5.10. Is there somewhere else that it should be specified? Cheers EDIT: Scrub this it started working! However something tells me I haven't used £2800 of fuel travelling 40nm! If I had 971 lbs to start and landed with 626 lbs, how does that get seen as "566 fuel used" - is this 566 units? I've set the LiquidUnit setting to "3" for lbs, so shouldn't it say 345 fuel used?

I already have each pirep report showing what I called the Fuel Rate (the idea is to have a value that demonstrates, for each flight, the percentage of fuel spent in relation to what was initially foreseen by the VA for that given flight). Hi guys, Apologies if this has been covered before, just need a bit of help if that's okay. A pilot of mine today departed an airport with 160,000lbs of fuel, landed with 80,000lbs of fuel. The airline only gets charged for fuel used. So, he basically overfuelled his aircraft by 100% but only got charged for what he used. Is it possible to change the coding so he gets charged for the fuel he takes off with, not what he uses? That way, it will give the pilots more of an incentive to calculate their fuel properly. Hey, I am not sure if this a smartCARS2 issue or a phpvms 5.5 one. But I need a point where I can start to find a solution I have set up everything to "feet", "nm" and "kilogramms".
