Does this raise any suspicions for anyone? On VACentral.net, frontpage. 3,000 PIREPs - screenshot taken 2:03 AM EST. Could it be an old virtual airline who has signed up to VACentral, then imported the phpvms_pireps table with over 3,000 PIREPs or is it a fake attempt. Anyway, this problem should be taken more seriously.

I have searched and can't find the answer to this question. When you start a flight you have say 10,000lbs on board, you then land and have 2,000 on board. Now there is obviously some fuel used for Taxi as the 10,000lbs is on takeoff and the 2,000lbs is on landing. Which makes sense, but the 2,000lbs I take it is not counted as an expense to the Airline only fuel used with some calculations for Taxi? Is this correct?

Hi there to all, my problem is I am not seeing any of my flights listed on the live map or in the listing, I have checked to make sure my API key is installed and so on but still no positive result. How ever I am still able to send my PIREPS and schedules. Can someone please help me with this.

Hi all, Firstly i would like to apologise if this is in the wrong section! I have a query, my VA has over 300 aircraft and i'm going through a phase of updating certain information within the fleet etc, doing this through the php admin center is painstakingly long, so i was wondering whether it would be possible to add aircraft in a similar way of adding schedule i.e in a .CSV format? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If someone can remove this post please, just realised i have indeed posted it in the wrong section!

Hello and thank you all for such a wonderful and intuitive system. (Sorry for the runnon post, but I can't seem to use a carraige return.) I haven't maintained a website since the days of Allaire Homesite and WsFTP. I've never used style sheets or server-based systems. I have no problems running any of the Flight Simulator or Virtual Airline functions. Everything works GREAT! I'm used to seeing pages I that I can't edit and alter, then upload and that's all there is too it. How do I get my front page to say something other than, ... "Welcome to phpVMS! For some odd reason, VA Central is only showing a pirep on Tuesday. Has anyone else ever had this issue? Clearly we have pireps every day of the week. Is this something on my end or VA Central? Thanks fellers!

Hi, When I try to register with VA central and they send me the activation email the email comes through blank and I can not activate my account. Anyone got any ideas or can activate it for me. cheers Scott

I'm trying to sort out the email issue. I am not sure as to why Forgot Password emails are being sporadically lost. If you have requested a password reset and have not gotten the email, wait for some time (hours, day) and try again, and see if you get it.

Hallo to all, I forgot the password for my va so I select the "I forgot the password" option and the message was that the password has been reset..But nothing happend since then. I would like to know how to ban a spammer from my website. He has created 3 fake accounts. Made 500 fake bids and is sending weird messages to my airline staff. We currently have his accounts on freeze and are not accepting any new members in case he attacks again. He keeps changing i.p. s and emails but I have all of the emails and I.p. s for each account. I made an account on VA central and added my airline to it (Dominican Airways) and I changed my e-mail on the account to something else, But now when I log into the account the VA's that I have are not on there or anything and I can't manage my account so can someone help me please?

Virtual Airline: MVS Due to an error in sending information from the VA, we have awarded the prize for 5000 hours, when really we have only 1845 hours. Could you correct this? We do not want awards, we have not yet achieved. Sorry for my poor english

Hi, I have 3 VA's on VA Central, two of which appear on the live map (Virgin Atlantic/America) however when the key code for Virgin Australia is inserted the airline does not update itself. It has been over 24 hours since the code was inserted. Any ideaS?

I've seen this and other similar responses, but that made me and my airline (Atlas Virtual Airlines) extremely confused about how the whole Point system works. I've read that it's basically based on numbers of PIREPs filed and active pilots, with actively flown scheduled routes, live fuel price usage etc. somehow being factored in. The big question is... what does that mean? How do you get those numbers, and what do we do to raise or otherwise control our ranking? My airline's been using vaCentral for roughly two years, but we've only seriously looked at the system for so long... Hey, 2 days ago, we had around 8500+ points on vaCentral (MIA_merlionvirtualairlines) and then I cleared out the pilots who haven't flown at all, and now, our points are down to 6900. If that isn't an error, can you explain how the vaCentral scoring system works? I mean, we've earned the 8500 points without those inactive pilots, so why would removing them cause any problem like that? Cheers.
