Dear Members Air UK Virtual is a virtual airline operating in Europe, flying to some of the warmest and coldest parts of Europe. Unlike most other virtual airlines, our schedules change with the time of year. Hi guys, some of our pilots and myself would love to have an event but unfortnuately in my opinion we are just not enough active pilots. I think the more pilots join an event the more fun it is. Therefore I want to ask if anyone of you guys is interested in organizing an event (fly-in, fly-by-route,....or whatever) for our VA`s together. Maybe a fly by route between our major hub Athens (LGAV) and the Hub of your VA. XL Airways Virtual is a project of mine on going from late last year. I have already invested a lot of time, money and effort into the creation of this Virtual Airline as have others. This airline will be based around XL Airways UK that sadly went into liquidation back in September 2008. I'm not looking to claim the cliché “unlike any other VA!â€, but I would like to build something that's lacking in the virtual world. I'm split between two ideas: a fictional low-cost carrier or private jet charter? Option 1: There's a lot of really nice and professional VA's out there based on real airlines, but when it comes to the truly 'virtual' VAs they all seem to turn into an "anything goes" mega-VA.
