Hello, I am on the brink of putting my new va to the public. Link: www.citylink-va.com. The purpose of this VA, is not to connect the the larger airports. So some kind of Bushpiloting in Western Europe, as far as you can find a bush ;-) And it is not even my idea to use the more standard planes that are being used by the most VA's. There for I am thinking small, like the Cessna Caravan, Beech 1900 Maybe an ATR. Even though this is my idea, I am also planning to have flights, done with B737 or A320, to more well known airports. Considering the home base (ehbk/mst/maastricht Aachen airport) with a 8000 feet runway, the maximum plane I could use there would be a B752. …

Hello all, Moderators, if this is not in the appropriate forum area please move. Anyways have a question or asking your opinion for all VA CEO's on awarding pilots with flight awards. When you have a new pilot join that has transferable hours and you accept those hours do you award those new pilots with hourly flight awards automatically or do you award those pilots with the hourly awards they actually flew within your VA? We do count the transferable hours for the Pilots Rank when they join but again undecided on the best method for Pilot Awards. We know every VA does their own thing, but we are only seeking opinions. Thank you for your time and your opinions. Ron …

I'm going to go ahead and start an airline thread to keep airline updates in and get feedback from you guys. I appreciate all the help I am getting from those more knowledgeable, and I am grateful for any constructive criticism you can provide here. To start off with, I wanted to get some feedback on one crucial area of the VA that you guys can't access - the Pilot Center. I have a few ideas in my head, and I started implementing them this evening, and I was hoping to get your thoughts. (Refer to attached thumbnail) Thanks, guys! [update - Hiring] I am looking to hire a few individuals to help me out. I doubt I will have much luck finding interested candidates on the p…

I am in the process of building a new PHPVMS V7 Virtual Airline which should be operational in January 2025. The basic concept of this Virtual Airline is based only on the use of AIRBUS Fleet Aircraft where there is a flight to and from any airport in Europe. So far the flights across all models and variants is going to be around 16000. The rules will be very simple in that there will be no assigned flights no monthly minimums or restrictions on what you can fly so if one day you want to fly a short A320 flight and the next day a long haul A350 or A380 flight it will be no problem. Acars will be with the excellent PHPVMS ACARS. Flights can be flow…

Catfish Air (CFA) offers two scenarios in which pilots can operate. We offer civilian service as a regional airline which services the Southern United States and many Caribbean destinations. Our civilian airline fleet includes the AT-72, the CRJ-200, the CRJ-700, the CRJ-900, and the Boeing 737. We also offer our pilots the unique opportunity to fly "real-world" combat operation missions in the Middle East and Iraq theaters of operation by joining our Task Force Thunder (TFT). You can fly troops through hostile airspace from Kuwait into Iraq and Afghanistan. You can also fly special missions for awards by flying UH-60 Blackhawks and CH-47 Chinooks into hostile airspace …

My current VA policy is very lax. I only have one aircraft registration per type for all schedules of that type. However, as I am recreating my VA, I'm leaning more towards a realistic schedule approach. One aircraft per schedule rotation, etc. However, I've never done anything like this before. My question is to the VA owners that have done things like this. Could you provide me with any tips on how to start this? I'm sure I'm making this harder than it probably is and am over thinking this. Anyways, any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
