when I try to log onto the custom kACARS, I get the following error: unable to connect to remote server, then I press ok button and get this message : Notify system Administrator of switch error. Data not received, switch=verify .. any ideas on what is going on ? I have been away all week and have not been able to fly, until now and cant.

Jeffrey, Is it normal for when you log into Acars, and the Web Browser on it automatically shows the website, it shows a pilot online 2-3 times? Could this be fixed, or can you just make me a customized one without the Web Browser?

Hi. I have been using Kacars free for about a year now and it's great! http://www.fsvintage...pvms/index.php/ I do have a question, on the live map everting is working fine, but the Distance/Time Remain does not work. Does the Distance/Time Remain only work for the paid version or is there somthing I need to do to get the Distance/Time Remain working? Thank you for your time, Kenny.

Obviously that when you run a VA where the sim pilots have to make flights according to preset schedules, you want to enforce at least two things: a) That when necessary (some VAs allow you to use any a/c) the route is flown with THAT specific aircraft type, i.e. C208, B737, etc. Irrespective of livery of course. That if the schedule says departure time is 17:00 local time the ACARS checks during departure that the flight simulator TIME is set to around that specific time. Otherwise if the schedule calls for 21:00 and the pilot departs at 14:00 (daylight) then it would be incorrect to accept it. I was wondering if kACARS checks those things or at least pr…

Hi All, I've just been looking at the Pireps of our pilots flights since switching to kACARS. I've noticed that the Pilot pay only ever shows £12 income, which is the hourly rate. Yet, the flights that are more than an hour i.e. 2+ still only show £12. However, the flights under an hour seem to be giving the right pilot pay. Does anyone know if kACARS has any effect on what happens with the pilot pay calculation? i.e. is it the information from the logged number of hours flown that is then used to calculate the pilot pay? Any help would be gratefully recevied as our pilots are only ever getting an hours pay maximum. Just trying to work out if its an issue with phpvms…

Can anyone tell me what to do here. I am setting up my custom kacars. I am a beginner at this. thanks A new table must be created to allow the chat to work. The table needs to be named with the same table prefix as all other phpvms tables. If the standard tableprefix was used (phpvms_) then the table needs to be named phpvms_acarschat. If the table prefix is different than name accordingly.

I have installed kAcars v1.0.1.1 in my W7 but when i click in the .exe, it simple dont work. Nothing occour... I allready unistalled and reinstalled but dont work. I installed the v1.0.1.0 and dont start too. Some one knows what can be this issue? Thanks! Hudson

Is there an error log someplace for kACARS? I have this all installed on my local computer. I am using http://localhost/phpvms as my BaseURL. Everything seems fine (I can connect, I see my Flight Bids, I can start recording and fly my flight), but when I click on File PIREP, it comes back with the normal "PIREP Filed OK" box, but it isn't actually updating the database with anything. It's as if the PIREP just vanishes into thin air. I do see the contents of the PIREP in the send.xml file, but as I say, nothing is going into the database. Where can I look to find out why? Cheers.
