Hi I am installing a new instance of phpVMS in the following configuration: Server1 = CentOS 7 w/ Apache & PHP 7.4 = PHPVMS Web Server Server2 = CentOS 7 w/ MariaDB = PHPVMS Database Server I connect to the website via a nginx reverse proxy and can access the site no problem to start the installation. I can see the pre-requisite page/module page and it shows everything green and ok. I then click to input the database configuration and when I test the db connectivity with the test button, it returns ok and connects. I then click the "Setup database" button, and the page that I am on simply refreshes and nothing happens. According to the documentation, …

Hi all, Having got things up and running we wanted to set up the roles so people could access certain area's without having full access to the admin area. I set up a series of roles for flights and airport and other area's, I then added them to various users, however those users do not get access to those area's. The only way is to give them admin panel access. Which means they have access to all the admin area which we do not want. I have tested this on a new user and unless I give them admin accesss they cannot edit anything. What am I doing wrong. I have checked Github but there is nothing in there. Using …

I have an error in the admin panel: The cron has not run in more than 12 hours; make sure it's setup and check logs at storage / logs / cron.log. Like we could do with phpVMS 5.5.2 and call the stats into a HTML document by calling in the config for phpVMS. Is there a way this can be done with VMS7 ? If so please could someone point out what would need to be called Thanks

There's missing requirement in README.md as phpVMS requires bcmath or gmp to be installed. Find this when tried to create new flight (in administration > opereation) and got "Whoops, looks like something went wrong" -error. After little debugging it gave bit more better error message "Missing BC Math or GMP extension", so installed BC Math and now flight adding works.

Hi, I have phpVMS set to email me with system notices which is just fine, however my VA CEO is also getting emails for every pirep submitted as well as me. His email is only entered in his user profile. Is this because I made him an administrator also ? Is there a way to stop him being emailed. regards Doug

Hi guys. I think I accidentally removed a critical database user account. It was during a cleanup process where old/unused databases and users were removed. My screw up was not doing a backup before starting on this, even though I'm quite sure all the dbs/users were not being used. I was probably wrong on this. im trying to add files to my subfleet by .zip but everytime i do this im getting a 503 error code, what am i doing wrong? i fill out everything including url and select the zip file from my computer and click save and about 2 mins it goes to the 503 error. any help would help out greatly

Using latest Dev build and php8.2 also using disposable basic I am having trouble creating downloads and having the "Downloads" menu item show the files or pages. I went into pages/links in admin menu. created a downloads link entry. I had a folder I created called downloads off public_html. Inside of downloads I created another folder called vmsacars and placed ACARS.ZIP in there. That created a second menu item called "Downloads" no what I wanted, but it still did not show the files. Instead a 403 error. SO I deleted that entry in pages/links, that got rid of the second downloads menu item, but now the original one is showing …

Which folder to images need to be uploaded to so that they can be used in the "add page" section. I can get a default svg file to display but nothing else seems to work. I've tried uploading the image to public/assets/img/image.png - all i get is the "well this is embarrassing" message when I try to put the address into the browser. I've used the same address protocol as displayed by opening "logo_blue_bg" in its own tab as that displays fine, but nothing I've uploaded will display.

As you do for the pilot payment. Do you set a fixed price to pay the pilot? Do you set a price to pay the pilot, different in each flight route? Do you pay by rank?
