Ive made my own html page for registrations using the register_mainpage.tpl code and it turns out like this.......... http://www.easternvirtualairways.com/register.html Any ideas how i can get this to work? I want a html front page and register page but phpvms main site.

Well ive been bored latley and i though, Heck i might as well make a new skin with FlyZens new colors so here it is after about an 20 minutes of work. Alot moreneeds to be done but i got the dropdown and the bsic layout complete and by this weekend it should be completed!

Right off the bat, let me say, "I'm sorry for being such a noob"! I have Dreamweaver CS5.5 and am "attempting" to use it to change the appearance (the look) of phpVMS to suite my need. The problem is... I can't find the "main page" within the phpVMS directory structure, so I can open it in DW and modify it. Could someone tell me where it is? The only experience I have with web design is from the old days when text editors were used. Back then, the "main page" was usually called "home.htm" or "index.htm". Thanks in advance for your help. Hello...My website FSPAINTSHOP was hacked, and totally destroyed by some jack off....It was probably some 16 year old ****** bag who lives with his mommy and has never seen a ******........ At any rate downloads for my skins were approaching the 2000 downloads mark....I was working on 3 more really nice skins for phpvms till i saw this. If this is the payback I get for trying to help the flightsim community then I say F^u^c^k it, I'll make no more... Thanks for taking the time to download my work....

Is there a way to use phpvms without the traditional "skinning" process? I want to use a normal html site without the restrictions of skinning...I want to know if it will work first. Skinning has too many hurdles ....

I have tried about everything to show the image of the airline on the live map. I am able to show the image on the Departures and arrivals, just not the live map. Ok so don't laugh at me. ;D ;D http://paranormalinsights.com/phpVMS I am trying to break each section up into blocks like I have on the left, but each time I try and add a new div or anything, it busts up my template real bad like. I know it is uglier than ape right now. I figure once I get functional worked out, I work on pretty later. This is my first attempt at a skin for phpVMS. Can anyone tell me how to add extra stuff on the sides in blocks without busting up my template.? Hi All, Basically, I'm more a designer that a 'coder' . What I would like is to be able to have a pop out pilot centre like the one below (seperate from the main website). But obviously its not going to be part of the template however for some of the pages I would like to use the code from the.tpl files ( if you follow me). However I'm kinda confused on how to go about this. Is it too hard for someone who knows little php? Cheers in advanced Ross EDIT: Just had a thoguht. About to release my admin skin, however I have been forced to edit the default template files in admin/templates. I noticed that adding them to the skin folder, like you would on the main site, does not work. Changes made to those files in the skin folder do not show up. Is there a way around this?

Good day folks, in search for briefing for europe, I came across this page: http://www.flyingineurope.be/aviation_weather_maps.htm + Rain&Iceing page. Weather info posted as gif/png mostly, and could be used if youre airline flies in europe. I think the links are relativly stable aswell.(filenames etc) I tried it on the page im working on and it seems good.(now I have to learn how to resize external images using php...) Now for the airport maps issue. Im going to try making some snapshots of different aiport diagrams and linking them to aip of the specific airport. Though I guess it will have to be in a database or something because they are not centralized on one…

OK, I have a template downloaded and I've got all the appropriate files in the skin's folder. But when I view my site, all I get is the CSS. I've missed something, and it's going to be stupidly funny to all of those who've done this hundreds of times , but this is my first try. Is it in layout.tpl? How do I edit the navigation bar?

Gday guys I am interested in creating a CSS style table for my pilot roster page similar to this one http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_table.asp, except instead of green and white, im after red and white. Anyone able to shed some light into how i can do this? <tr class="odd"> <td>...</td> ... </tr> <tr> <td>...</td> ... </tr> i found this peice of code, but im unsure how to integrate it, i want it to automatically do the horizontal zebra pattern. Quick question guys, i have a new template which was provided and when i extract the zip file there are 3 folders...cssmw, images and lib. I followed the directions and when i choose the new template as the default and vie it the css didn't kick in nor did the images so now where exactly do one put these folders. i changed the web address as directed to my own and still it doesn't show like it suppose to. The virtual airline that I was previously closed down and I was thinking about starting it up again using phpVMS instead of vafs. However, i don't know much about it and was wondering if someone would be able to offer me suggestions of websites that design skins for cheap. I do know that there are some free skins on the forums but they aren't customised to the virtual airline and are a bit of a hassle to edit. Hello, I have been fiddling around with phpvms for quite some time, for my new va. It is a nice tool. And I have created my own template. In which I succeeded. I would like to change the frontpage. In a way where the news is replaced by a static page. And that I have a link to the news module. Anybody an idea, how to do that? I have been working my way through the documentations, but I could not find how to do it. My php knowledge is nearly zero. Hi all, I am intrigued to find out if its possible to skin the admin centre. I have seen LA92's version and its pretty awesome, But unfortunetly was taken down due to copyright infringement.
