Hello together, How can I create an "Typerating"-Center for phpVMS? I dont need a big system or something like that. The only thing I need is a button to accept the new rank before the pilot will get the next rang. Oh boy two ideas in one night I'm on a role! Well...Maybe. I came up with this idea after having pilots complain about having to contact HR about everything via email. My idea is to create a Resignation Form so pilots can resign directly via the website. Basically it will be a page with their name and pilot ID, and a text area for the pilot to put their reason for resignation When they hit submit, it is submitted to a table in the database and appears in the admin panel in a table (like a list) An admin could simply push approve and it will delete the pilot account, or deny and the entry will be removed. Hey guys, Not the best when it comes to this and will need a little help. I am looking to implement something which seems simple, for each schedule I want to be able to add "Airline which operates this route" with the option to add an airline logo. So with this added, on schedule search it will show in the results the airline logo on each individual schedule and also on the briefing page and live flight map. If anyone knows of how to do this or is willing to make it or guide me then that will be helpful. If payment is needed then I will pay you Many thanks & hope I made sense

Hello friends, This is a system-wide flight, there is no option to cancel the flight. When the pilot completes a flight, a picture appears green, red images shows that the flight has yet to be finalized. The system displays the total hours at the end of the scale, I wonder if it is possible develop a similar? Hi am having a problem with the flight bidding add on, When i Select all it works fine and shows me the routes but if i put EG Departure airport as EGLL it says no flights found ? i try with lots off dirrent airlports and the same happens with no airports found i checked the schedule and there are defo flights from the airport Any help would be great

Hello, I have a question, How can i add a schedule field, example: http://www.virtualflightzone.net/images/extra/flightscont.jpg ( i found this picture on phpvms forum. And I have also tried but. If I put text in the new field and turn on the schedule. I open the schedule again and then it says 0 (so the text is gone). and he comes not stand in the schedule list. where the pilots can search schedules. the schedule itself is there. but not with the additional information. And how can i add it to my schedule list! ? I hope that somebody, can help me with this problem. Michael

Hello Guys, I have created a page .htm via "add page" function in Admin Center. Then I have downloaded the schedule.htm from the ftp server and edited it(content of the file below) and reupload it on the server. But then the problem has occurred. Namely the schedule does appear below the disclaimer which is located in the footer div which is located at the very bottom. When it should be above the disclaimer and over the whole footer div...I have been wondering should I do that in other way, creating a tpl file or something. So if can anyone have a look at the code below and maybe suggest something what I did wrong? Your help would be greatly appreciated schedule.htm …

Hi Guys, Im new to phpVMS and learning rapidly!! What I would like to create is a schedule request form, that my pilots can use to request new schedules to be added. When the form is submitted, the schedule will be inserted into the database, but with a "PENDING" sort of status. The Admins will be emailed that there is a "PENDING" Schedule request. The admins will then reject or approve the schedule and it is then added to the VA's list. The Pilot will then be emailed if the schedule has been approved or not. has anyone done anything similar, or can someone point me in the right direction of where to start? Many Thanks Kev

Good Evening, I am very new to phpVMS and trying to figure this section part out. I am not new to PHP but my skill level is just below an intermediate level. I have developed web_apps before but this is the first time I've tried to take something a existing system and add something to it. Anyways, I am trying to add a new filter to the original schedule_searchform.tpl file that comes with phpvms right from the download. Below are the two parts of code that I have added. Hello I should like to inquire whether it would at all be possible for us over at RAF No.2 Group to schedule some of our flights with the normal 0-6 (Sunday-Saturday) code, but also allow for days of the year numbers, ie 001, 140, 350 and so on. I don't see any similar solutions on the forum, but was hoping it'd be possible. As the VA is kind of in the cross between military and civil aviation, the irregularity of flights is difficult to show. It'd help us a lot if we could schedule some of our flights this way. Thank you in advance for any replies!

I have read the API's documentataion regarding sending variables to scrips using the URL. Like index.php/moduletest/pageone/apple/red Gives the varible 'apple' the value 'red' to the script function pageone However I wan't a module to remember the setting, while fetching an other variable, like /beer/isgood. Next time the page is loaded the scripts remember that the user already has seleced red apples, when the user select the option beer is good. Then can process a page based on these settings? I have a shout cast server for broadcasting to the internet. We use it to play music on the air so During ATC sessions, we can give out live METAR info to pilots, we have an automated request line and all. I am creating a module to integrate my shoutcast server into phpVMS. So it will work like any of the side boxes like latest flights , etc etc. It will give a complete radio status such as if the radio is on the air or off the air. Current DJ, current song playing, and a couple other things. I have a module put together and a tpl file. For some reason, I can not get it to put out any info at all. Hey Guys! So I am developing my pilots center, and I had successfully modified the search form and results form. I tried using Simpilot's addon, but it is not compatible with the current PHPvms. Because I have over 8000 routes, it takes over 30 seconds for it to load. Is there a way where I can limit how many routes it loads at first so it can load faster? I tried pagination, but it still does the same thing (loads all at first then puts it in order). Attached is a photo of my schedules/view page. Is there a way where I can have a search form first, then display the schedules instead of having the schedules and search form?
