Hello, On my phpVMS install I have uploaded and selected my avatar in "My Profile" and on some pages on my CrewCenter site it works like this http://prntscr.com/gufodq, but on others it just shows the default no avatar picture, like this, http://prntscr.com/gufol4 Why is this? Thanks, Harry

Here's my problem, viewing the VA as a general member of the public using this address: http://www.futura-va.com/ There is no template it's as if it doesn't exist and there is just text spewed over the page (white background etc.). However removing www. from the front allows me to view the site just fine until I go to log in. I enter my login details and when it refreshes it says my name (FUA506) at the very top but it's the same problem of no template appearing. So I go back to taking the www. away but it shows me as still being logged out. I just don't get it at all and it's really annoying me. Hope someone has some sort of idea!!!!! Many thanks, Matt

I'm having issues with the PIREPS. I don't want to use the "Enter Flight Number" function so when I enter a PIREP and leave it blank I get: "You must fill out all of the required fields!" with Version 1.2.700 How do I make that not a required field? Thanks!

Hiya, Ive done a quick look through the searching for this answer however can someone explain in a yes or no fashion... When updating VMS do I need to start from the first update, or do the latest release contain the previous updates? I ask because Ive been lazy and havent applied an update since first using vms back in May. Thanks for your help Steve

Now Palmair was a brainchild of tour operator Bath Travel to offer good priced routes across Europe. Someone who has added some additional fields to their PIREPs in dropdown format needs to see if what I've observed happens to them. Select a PIREP where any of the dropdown entries are other than the 1st entry in the dropdown. Go to edit the PIREP and see if it hasn't reverted to the first selection. For example, I have a field for flight conditions, IFR,VFR,MVFR. If I enter VFR when filing it, the information is correct, but if I edit it, the field has reverted to IFR so when I save the edited PIREP, it says IFR even if I was only editing another part of the PIREP.

Hey As you may know my VA, JAL Virtual is a Japanese VA and thus should have Japanese language support but in PHPVMS how can i do it? I have may two folders on my site called 'jp' for Japanese and 'en' for English. Is it possible to run in theory two phpvms sites but linked to the same DB and have the same logins, schedules and etc but they are running two different languages?

Are there anymore country;s and there flags available yet to add to the the ones that come with default phpvms. I have a couple of pilots from Serbia but that country not in list. There is a listing for the Former Yugoslavia but no flag.If no new ones how do I add a country and its flag image to phpvms.

Hello everyone, Having an issue and I believe Jeff said it must be something to do with PHPVMS' coding. Basically, I have a custom version of kACARS. In the custom version, there is a default login placed there for knowledge purposes (XXX1001 and a default password) - just to show how the pilots must login. Unforuntely, some pilots are just clicking the "login" button with those credentials in there. Somehow, the system is accepting that login! They end up showing on the ACARS map with a blank name and when they file, no PIREP being attached to their true account but rather account ID 901 by default. I have recently purchased a domain and hosting from ipage.com Following the instructions from the internet, I have done the following to attempt to install PHPVMS on the newly acquired domain: - Setup a PHPVMS Database within the iPage MySQL Control Panel. I ensured that all permissions were allowed. - Installed and connected to my FTP server using Filezilla. - Dragged the phpvms folders into the \ Root of my FTP. I have been trying for weeks now how to figure out how to make each flight create a new news topic for each completed flight or each time a pirep has been submitted for instance. Hello, I'm having a problem with logging in to my website. When I login with my Pilot ID and Password, I'm not being forwarded to the pilot center anymore Before I was always redirected to the Pilot Center, and now ending up with this: When I reload that page, the site displays the "login_already.tpl", but I have access. Unfortunately this appeared with no warning, and I don't know how to fix it. I have already consulted the forum, but didn't find any solution. Thanks in advance!

Hi Pardon me if this has been brought up before. I searched and could not find an answer. When I add custom pages via phpVMS Admin area, I go back to edit the page's code and it does not show me the code. it shows me the actual page. Is there something I am missing here? It shows all the stuff above the page content like I am posting in a forum. Scrrenie necessary? I'm sure you get my drift on this one.

Ok I'm no new comer here, been using phpvms for years now. And for the life of me I can't get past these issues. I had this working beautifully for years, then I had to do a clean reinstall after a db failure (nothing worked). I have reinstalled v5.5.2 several times in the past 2 days and each time it is the same issues. The ACARS map isn't showing up, the pilots list isn't showing up, and schedules nor aircraft show up. Yet they are in the db. This is on a new install v5.5.2 where one aircraft and schedule is added to the system after it comes up. I am not on a shared hosting system. I would be grateful if anyone could explain what is going on, as right now I am complete…
