Hi all, i am running the phpvms simpilot 5.5.2 i would like to upgrade to version 7, but it's been a while that i was checking the the wiki of phpvms here : http://docs.phpvms.net/setup/upgrading So far nothing yet released any tuto ? i am still running version oh php 5.6.40 which alread outdated, even tried 7.1 doesn't work. Hi there, i have added a new page via the admin menue to the website. But it seems to be a static htm file. I wanted to have our fleet loaded from the database via php and display it on the site. How is this possible as every new Page is created as htm, so i cant access my database. thanks for help, Mark

Hi i was wondering from some time... how can i change the zoom level of the live map have tried editing the local.config.php line 70 but regardless of the number i put the zoom level always stays the same on the site... i can change the center position of the map but so far i couldn't change the zoom

Hallo I have a Flight SU517. I will add Airbus and Boeing into the flight! I want that many planes add in one flight, and not just one were added! so im a little confused about what version to actually use. I have a current installation of phpvms that works great except i want to be able to use .php modules rather than the old .tpl modules. Simple reason, theres a module i have that is originally a .php and i convereted it to .tpl while editing all php coding, it still doesnt work. I think i have version 2.1.936 installed, thats what it says down at the bottom. However, the change log has 2.1.938 listed on it and everything that is listed in the change log is a working feature in my phpvms. Hello everybody. I have a little problem. I changed the latitude and longtitude in the local.config of the map,but th map map always shows the same place. I would like to center it for frankfurt(germany),but it still shows the united states. Regards

Hello, It won't let me delete pages with out going into the database and deleting them my self, just thought that i would let you know. The problem that i am currently having is when i try to add a second link into a page it dosn't work it only lets me have one, i found a soloution to doing it for images but it once again only allows one. Also when i add another airline it dose not add it making me have to go into the database once again. Thanks Neil.

Hi Nabeel, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to consider a change to the downloads section. As it stands, all download categories are on the same page. What I think would be cool is if when you went to view the downloads, it would take you to a page where the categories are listed. You could then, click the category you wanted to view just those files. When you consider that a lot of VAs will have ten to twenty aircraft and may have those files for both FS2004 and FSX, the page may get a little long. As well, you could also make a utilities category for panel files, pdf manuals, etc. Just my two cents! Chuck CYXU

How hard would it be to code for awards the same way as the ranks are defined, Example if a pilot completed 10 flights he gets xx award automatically and so on. I would imagine its just a case of copying the ranking system?

Hello everybody I hope this topic will find you well, After 1 year of working with version 2.1.936 i've noticed there is another version ofr phpvms.updated.zip Version 2.1.938 well i checked the forum how the process must be done. As well i complied with the instructions but something attract my attention, that the /install/update.php asked me for Force update i did, the job done without any error when i visited the admin, i notified that the current version still 936 not Upgraded ??? Any suggestions ??? Tnx

Hello guys, I am running into a situation I have never seen before in PHP VMS (and I have seen quite a bit). Some script is bypassing the Recaptcha at the registration page and consistently registering new pilots at a fairly high rate (like 50 in 15 minutes). If I put the VA in Maintenance mode the issue stops but as soon as I reopen it restarts...... Not sure how to contain this or where to start looking for issues. Any help would be very appreciated so thanks in advance

Hello everyone. I have the cron job setup to run once a week on my site to do all the maintenance and when it runs, it resets the flights count on pilot roster and public profiles and in pilot center to 0. I found this in the maintenance.php file : MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resetpirepcount'); MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resethours'); Is it safe to say that I can get rid of the resetpirepcount part to stop this from happening? I get LOADS of inquirys every week as to why their flight count is 0 again. I tell them it is the cron job but in their eyes we do not know what we are doing and a few have left over this already. I have a problem after downloading DLHVirtualGroup kACARS I have downloaded and successfully operated it previously but it disappeared on my computer and it prevents me from loading it again saying i have a previous version which is an upgrade and like i said i cannot locate it. I am running a Windows 8 machine. Hi all, I am currently facing and issue where when a pilot registers for the VA and his registration is still pending, the pilot will receive an email stating that he is retired. The last filed PIREP date would be indicated as 01/01/1970. This is due to the fact that we have the auto retire system turned on. Is there a way to correct such an issue ? Thanks Sean
