I am having a issue with my php vms sight. All was good this morning and I opened up Local.config.php to add in Config::Set('AIRPORT_LOOKUP_SERVER', 'phpvms'); Once I did this Everything became unavailable. Even Acars quit working. So I went back in and removed the entry and still the same problem. Now when opening up the file i got this message. You will be editing: /home/north863/public_html/phpvms/core/local.config.php Please select the character encoding to open this file with: (Gave OPTION UTF-8 and opened with that.) We have attempted to auto-detect the encoding of this file. However, this is not a foolproof process since some files will display properly with …

Hi everyone, recently I changed my website host into a new one that is Windows based. However, after that I did not receive emails anymore from phpvms, such as Pirep submitted,new pilots registration, password reset and many more. Does anyone have a fix to this? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I am trying to set up phpVMS on clustered/cloud hosting (however you wish to describe it!) Webserver (which is actually on three IP addresses): 1.2.3.4 SQL server (which is on one IP address): 6.7.8.9 Website URL: http://mywebsite.co.uk Database Name: site_vms Database Server: 6.7.8.9 Database Username: username Database Password: password Database Type: MySQL Table Prefix: phpvms_ Clicking "Next step" gives me: Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? (and apologies for the security, would rather no-one knows about this yet!)

Hello All, I do not know if you have ever came up with issue but I have issues with phpVMS (2 & 5) on my home-brew installation. Everything has been installed and working great in the user page. When it comes to the admin part, the Dashboard (admin/index.php) works but the rest of the pages redirect to the user part. Have you evert came uo with this issue before? I have tries php 5.3 and php 5.6 but has the same issues. Thanks!

Hello all! Today I re-installed my localhost and the php version I m running is now 6.0.0-dev. When trying to access my phpvms localhost site an error comes up saying: "You are not running PHP 5+" But I m running 6. Is there a problem or a problem with 6.0.0-dev version ? Regards.

Hi Nabeel and all, We have been hit several time now by hackers. However, as most people, I do only work for my VA when there is demand, and I cannot monitor the forum. Would it be therefoe possible to establish a list of people to be informed whenever a vulnerability and a security issue is found ? In order to make sure of the bona fide, we could check the person member of the list has a valid VATSIM/IVAO member number. Do you think this would be good ? Thanks, Eric

Luckily my site was restored without rebuilding the entire site. It was a close call. The only lpss was that e only have around 925 hours logged, comared to the 1000+ we had before. Pilots have lost a bit of a chunk out of their hours. I want to know what can be done to prevent future incidents with my VA and others using phpVMS. I was targeted with an SQL injection, which deleted many of my database tables. What can be done to protect them? Are they dynamic? And if so, is that a problem?

The minimum image size is 5 pixels(w)11 pixels(h) tp a maximum of 44(w) to 11 (h). tried gig,jepg and png. There located in a webfolder on my system...not located in the phpvms folder..as there is no instructions for novas Phpvms assumes everyone knows php. Hello, I would like to install phpvms on a Debian 9 server with PHP7 and I am a little lost with the versions of PHPVMS Which version would you recommend installing? PHPVMS 2 or PHPVMS 4? If I install PHPVMS 2, will it be possible to migrate without loss of data to version 4? Thank you.

Hello, I plan to help a VA to update their phpvms. They are currently using an old V2. Is it possible to upgrade their site to 5.5x without having to rebuild and/or build from scratch other than uploading existing databases for flights, pilots, fleet, etc.? Thanks
