I noticed tonight, I did some traffic patterns and flew around St Louis for a while and landed. Uploaded pirep via FSACARS all went smooth. Here is my question. Is it possible to make it so that admin can add comments to a pirep that has been submitted using ACARS? Or is it possible to add comments via ACARS before submitting the pirep? I have setup a bogus flight as suggested in the FAQ for flights not on schedule and I instructed pilots when able to add comments as in where they fly from and to and all that good stuff. If not is no biggie to me. I can always have them file manually, but that kind of defeats the purpose of ACARS. ;-)

I accidentally clicked the Reset Pilot PIREP count link in settings. All my pilots are at 0 now. Is there a way to get them back?

Hello dear community, we have a problem with our phpvms ver 2.1.v2.935 since a cpl of days whenever a pirep is filed by a pilot the counter of "total flights" and "total hours" are not updated. however the "total pay" and the "current location" are updated. we tried to reset the "Pilot Pirep Count" under the maintenance options but didn't achiev any results anyone a suggestion how we could solve this problems. thank you all in advance

I am having an issue with pirep counts in the Pilot Roster page. I have reset pirep counts in the admin panel and they are correct. But in the Pilot Roster they seem to be doubling newer members. It is hard to find the issue, especially when the numbers are fine in the database and the admin section. Has anyone seen this before?!

Good day, I have a problem after every flight, I can not see my PIREP. That tells me "This PIREP does not exist !". While it has been sent via the smartCARS application. I Booking flights under the website is work. Someone would have a solution for this problem please. Thank you Regards

Hi, when trying to submit a manual PIREP, the pilots are presented with this error message: fopen(/home/fcava./public_html//lib/rss/latestpireps.rss) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/fcava./public_html/core/common/RSSFeed.class.php on line 63 The PIREP does go through so it isnt directly affecting that. Hello Everyone, I test the FSFK pirep and it works, but I have a couple of questions and would be very grateful if someone could help me: 1. I attach how looks the pirep from FSFK, I want to know how I edit the fields, I mean, ¿Wich is the file to translate the fields name?, becouse I searched in all the folder without success and where is the skin to edit the pirep design. 2. In the pirep don´t show the images from FSFK report like maps etc, just show the name but not the images like the attached file. I really apreciate if someone have ideas to how fix this.!

Hi, I'm currenty having an issue when filing a pirep with smartCARS, when sending the report, I'm getting the following messaage "PIREP FILING ERROR, the virtual airline's web server didn't confirm the PIREP filing properly with smartCARS. This doesn't mean always mean that the PIREP wasn't filed. Please verify that PIREP was filed on the airline's website. I've done all the checks according to TFDI and smartCARS seems to be correctly installed, so the issue should be something else on my config. I have two different questions, but I don't want to post two different threads because I've already posted so many. First problem: I have just moved the PIREP form to the pilot dashboard and none of the dropdown menus work (ex when you try to select your airline, nothing comes up). I know this has something to do with me moving the form. Second problem: I want to also move the schedules to the pilot dashboard. However, it is split into many different templates, and I don't know how to move the whole thing so that pilots can search schedules. If any of you have some sort of solution to any one of these problems, please say so. Thanks in advance!

so i was trying to figure out why fuel prices were so low (like around $1.21) and when i submit the pirep, it comes back as being almost $15,000 in the hole! Found that the PIREP wants fuel to be inputted as KG. I checked the config and it is set to show in lbs but it still doesnt. Kind of annoying having to convert lbs to kg and may be confusing to some pilots in the airline. Is there a way to change it to lbs rather than kg?

When I go to my admin dashboard I see this message: You have 13 PIREPS waiting for export to vaCentral. Click here to send them When I click to send them, I only get an error message. My partner tried on his computer, same issue. Any ideas?

I have some issues with PIREPS once a pirep has been accepted, I can not delete or amend it Another staff member has approved them, but I want to delete them as they are not compliant. So, i go to RECENT PIREPS, and select REJECT I fill in the comment, and press REJECTTHIS REPORT. The comment is added to the comments list, but the reports remains if I choose to DELETE the pirep, it does indeed delete from the screen at that moment. but if I re-load the recent PIREPS page, they come back the only way at present to do this is via MYSQL, which is not ideal any ideas?

Hi guys! I would like to answer something that I've seen in another sites and I think that is possible to use in phpvms. In some websites I've seen the same google map that phpvms, and it shows the exactly place (and sometimes the time) where you have flown. Obviously I'm talking about the map shown in the each Pirep, not the Live Map. In phpVMS that map only shows a straight line fomr the departure until the destination, but it doesn't show the exactly point where you have flown. That map would be very useful in my VA to see the points where the pilots have flown, because sometimes we make challenges and each one make a different flight plan, but the only way to see…

Hi there! When I try to manually enter a PIREP, I fill all the fields in /index.php/pireps/filepirep and when I hit "Submit" I'm redirected to /index.php/pireps/mine (which is right) but I get this error message: "This PIREP is not yours!" It works flawlesly with kACARS but not manually, please help!

Hello, Just updated the server to Debian 9 and PHP 5.6.34 and now I have a problem that my manual pireps will not save and I also did a test with Kacars and also those pireps won´t save. Does anyone has does problems too and how do I solve them :-) Regards, Cor

Here I go, again... Some questions concerning the PIREP system: - How does the system recognize the date the flight was done (without using FsAcars)? Ex: If I have made a flight yesterday but I file the PIREP only tomorrow, which date it will take into consideration? Depending the answer, would it be possible to include that in phpVMS in the next release?? - Same question about the departure and arrival time. I couldn't find answer besides "CC Flight Tracker' module -- is there a secret trick to enabling raw data on PIREPS? I did shoot message over to SmartCARS to ask them but wanted to check here first. I found couple threads about it but they ultimately ended up as "SmartCARS can but I went to CC Flight Tracker."
