Hello there, I am just about to start a european low-cost virtual airline that I've been working on with my friend who painted the fleet for about a month or two. However, our sponsor has turned out, claiming that he's simply not interested anymore. So we're a flying double now. My question is mainly how to attract people onto management opportunities such as PMDG instructors, marketing or HR directors. And is there any possibility of finding solid crew before the airline opens up? The trouble is, we want to make the best impression out there, and as we know, first impressions last, so quite frankly, we're not ready to open up yet. Besides, we don't know anyone from our …

On 7 July 2012, Virgin Australia requested that we take our website down. The reason for this was due to a HR error. As such we have had to re-request permission from Virgin Australia to use their copyrighted name and logo. We are confident that permission will be re-granted and hope that we can get this situation resolved as soon as possible. We would like to apologize for this and hope that you will be patient. For further updates please visit our Facebook page; www.facebook.com/virginaustraliava Since we all run a Virtual airlines we are subject to this. So in a way I guess we are all subject to some kind of copy wright infringement. …

Hello all, Moderators, if this is not in the appropriate forum area please move. Anyways have a question or asking your opinion for all VA CEO's on awarding pilots with flight awards. When you have a new pilot join that has transferable hours and you accept those hours do you award those new pilots with hourly flight awards automatically or do you award those pilots with the hourly awards they actually flew within your VA? We do count the transferable hours for the Pilots Rank when they join but again undecided on the best method for Pilot Awards. We know every VA does their own thing, but we are only seeking opinions. Thank you for your time and your opinions. Ron …

A new VA is opened. We are recruiting. We hope to have lots of new pilots coming to start a virtual airline carrer. JagyGold Airways is an airline which allows you to just sign up and fly. We know FSX is not a job. It is a hobby. So we accept PIREPS which are sped up (More Simulation Rate). We also only require 1 flight a month. The first people 15 yrs of age or older can apply for staff. Donations will help our VA get better technology. Welcome to VGAW. Visit our website: http://virtualjagygold.ptsoftcorp.com. PTSoftCorp owns JGAW.

Dear pilots, friends and visitors, It is our pleasure to inform you that Air Serbia Virtual is now more than 2 years old! We have celebrated our second year of existence on the 23rd of April 2013. In the times when virtual airlines come and go each day, we take great pride in this achievement and think it really shows the level of commitment and dedication we put into running Air Serbia Virtual. The past two years have passed quickly, and it seems like it was just yesterday we were going through the initial planning stages and development of the VA. Now, 3724 hours of flight time, 2677 flights and 350000 passengers later, Air Serbia Virtual is a leading virtual airlin…

Well, I've been using FSX for a long while, and after a bit of a hiatus due to collegiate obligations I'm considering starting up a VA project. The basic idea I have is a low-cost carrier based in California, preferably an airport in the Los Angeles area. Right now it's between LAX and Ontario Int'l as a base. The airline would start off operating city-hopper services within California, with maybe a few services to areas in Nevada or Arizona. I'm thinking that it might start off with a fleet of Embraer jetliners, most likely EMB-170s but maybe 190s. I'm a bit iffy about that, though - I think it might be a bit too ambitious for a start-up airline, though I think Californ…

I know that phpvms is better with paid websites but i am having issues setting up a payment plan with the providers for some reason. but i also know that phpvms works with some free providers as well. here is my question which Free providers does it work with, and does it work better with any specific providers? this may be a dumb question, but i feel it is worth asking.

A flight network that will change the way we look at flight simulation... That's our ultimate goal, and we have already made progress in making this happen! Open Flight is an idea that came to mind after long and hard thought, plenty of mind-maps and more hard thinking. I wanted to begin something new for a very long time. I looked into starting a Virtual Airline, but I just realised I'd be stuck at the bottom of a chain of new VA's waiting to step up their game and become something big. It was time to think outside the box. I began looking at the current problems we face in flight simulation, such as the vast amount of software and networks we are required to be apart …

Hey guys, I'm looking to create a new virtual airline. I was thinking maybe one or two of you on this forum would like to help me. I don't want go get into any illegal stuff with this, so I am creating my own name for my virtual airline etc. I just need some ideas on what I could name it. Also, I plan for the virtual airline to be voluntary, meaning that everything will be done at no cost, including the domain. I also plan for it to be a UK based airliner. PM me or post if your interested. Thanks.
