Hi, I have upgraded the module and the program. I am now getting error "No Flight Found" when I click on "Get Flight Bid Info" Not sure what the problem is any help would be appreciated. Thanks Scott

I keep getting the switch error along with the URI error and I don't know why. I've searched the forums and followed all the instructions: I'm on Windows 7 and running it as administrator, the site is http://www.virtualsouthwestairlines.com which is hosted through fivedev, and the module is in the correct folder, core/modules/kACARS_Free/KACARS_Free.php Much help appreciated!!

I had this idea long ago but forgot about it. , the talk of kacars made me think of it again. How difficult would it be to design and option where Admin's could send messages to pilots during flight (threw Kacars of course)? This is good for bush operations as it would be a cool way to dispatch flights. What do you think?

Hello One of my pilots has a serious malfunction with his kacars. When he saves the profile he gets a big fat exception, see attachment and details below. What is says is that the access to european.xml (where the config info is stored) is denied. he runs it as admin though. He first had it installed in the default install path, I then advised him to put it in a sub directory in fsx somewhere but that didnt change anything. I'm not familiar enough with win7 to tell where its going wrong. The file seems ti exist. I wonder if it could be an issue with the space in the pathname? thanks in advance for providing any clarity! I have installed kAcars v1.0.1.1 in my W7 but when i click in the .exe, it simple dont work. Nothing occour... I allready unistalled and reinstalled but dont work. I installed the v1.0.1.0 and dont start too. Some one knows what can be this issue? Thanks! Hudson

Hi everyone! I'm having problems logging into my PHPVMS through kACARS, it just simply won't login. Here's what I tried: 1. Replacing modules. Some came up with compatibility issue. 2. Setting the permissions of the PHPVMS site. 3. Tried various existing pilot IDs: instead of TST0002 wrote 2 and then 0002 and none worked. 4. Tried editing the schedule's flight number. I've been searching for 2 days and none helped The website is http://178.137.246.251/ I will provide the login details through PM. BTW I'm using PHPVMS v2 since it works best.

Hello I've moved my website www.atlasvirtualairlines.com to a new host because haphost (formerly host1plus) was just a nightmare to deal with. Now, everything seems to be working, including xacars. but not kacars! I get a switch=verify error when I try to log in. I made sure I have no / at the end of my url and that the version number of the client and the module is the same at 1.0.1.1 (by the way does the latest kacars version work with module 1.0.1.1?) I have a pilot that is getting this error message : kACARS unhandled exception has occured in your application.If you continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue, if you click quit, the application will close immediately .. He clicks continue and nothing happens... I told him to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 , got the link for the download here : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=333325fd-ae52-4e35-b531-508d977d32a6&displaylang=en , Then he got an install error message.... any ideas?

I don't mean to question your skills at all, Jeff, but can you explain why kACARS_Free has to be run as Administrator on Vista or Windows 7? As a Linux user, I have been taught to avoid running programs as root like the plaque. Isn't this a security hole, running as admin, or am I mistaken?

We just finished uploading a new website but now our Custom KAcars will not connect. We get an unhandled exception error everytime. I have used this install of the custom KAcars for well over a year now with no issues. The web urls and root folders on the site are exactly the same. I am at a loss here. Help!! Chuck CYXU

Due to the short falls of FSX and from time to time when FSX freezes and you end up with a CTD after a long flight. It would be nice if kACARS was able to auto save the flight from time to time to prevent this very frustrating event. Would be a nice addition.. Wood

Hello Suddenly I am unable to fly flights with KACARS none of our members can fly anylonger. People are able to login successfully however when they press "GET FLIGHT BID INFO" they get in result "No Flight Found" depsite they have flights in bid. Please assist asap. Thanks & Regards

Hello. I have a member that has a new PC with Win11 on it. He installed kACARS v1.0.11, the version we use. I have win10, so I have no experience with Win11. I know kACARS uses one of the C++ packages, I don't remember which, don't know if that's the issue, or something else. I don't have any experience with Win11, so that makes it hard to diagnose the problem. Ciao to all, my problem is that the kACARS_Free correctly connect, load bid and send pirep to the VA site (Pirep filed) but nothing is registered in the MySql DB, except the date and time of the pirep submission in the pilot record. The Live Map show nothing... Thanks for support Gianni

Hi all, After installing the latest release of phpvms, Version 2.1.946, I got this error message in kACARS: Call to undefined function iconv() ... (see attatchment). I'm using php version 5.2.9 before update of phpvms following was used in kACARS_Free.php: $rec_xml = trim(utf8_encode(file_get_contents('php://input'))); after update following was used in kACARS_Free.php: $rec_xml = trim(iconv($encoding, "UTF-8", $postText)); Anybody else having this problem? I fixed it by reinserting the line from an older kACARS_Free.php, $rec_xml = trim(utf8_encode(file_get_contents('php://input'))); /BR Benny

Hi all, Again another question that has probably been asked but here goes..... I have managed to setup and use kACARS and it works well until you start FSnav that is another problem. but here is the one i would like an answer too.
