Hi, this question is the most asked one and with the SimBrief improvements we have in v7 this matter become critical ... Here you can find the basics about the logic and how to setup your fares/subfleets/flights properly. 1. Main Fares You can define your fares in admin/fares. These will be your main fare types, which will then be used in your subfleets or flights. The main idea here is to define only the basics, so you can change them later when needed. Think fares like the seats in your plane (or cargo space), which can be sold as tickets. They are not in flight services or extended service types like WiFi, Hot Meals, Extra Snacks, Economy Premiu…

Ok, this is the second part of my guides. I got a lot of questions about them, how to define, how to make them compatible with SimBrief, how do the real companies handle different types or configs etc. etc. And unfortunately I see some PhpVms friends having struggle with defining them. So what is it ? All airlines do have aircrafts, we call them fleets. As you may have noticed, phpVMS v7 comes with built in SimBrief API integration and aircraft can be configured in some different ways to achieve better planning results. Below you can find some key instructions and settings with their effects. Looks like it is a little bit hard to find download links for phpVMS v7 development builds. This topic aims to ease that process for everyone Do NOT download old beta builds (like beta 3 and beta 4) as they are really old (more than 3 years). At least a VA should be using beta 5 (which is more than a year old), best options is to use latest development build. Is the Add/Remove bid feature working? I'm using 7.0.0 (build 180223-dd144c) and when I press the icon for add/remove bid, nothing is happening. No errors are recorded in any logs that I can find.

Hi guys Have setup my subfleet, fares, flights and added a B738, on the Fleet page it says Aircraft 0, and if I enter a manual pirep, it wont allow me to enter the aircraft. I assume although I have the aircraft in the fleet, I haven't actually bought one?

So I have been a member of a virtual airline that has been around since the tail end of 2000. I have been talking with them about a new website. The issues is, they have 1 main airline, 4 Divisions, and then hubs. How we are setup now in phpVMS we can create separate airlines and all kinds of hubs or an airline with as many hubs as we wish. So I am embarassed to say that as long as I have been with phpVMS (all but since day 1) I can not for the life of me figure out how to accomplish this task accordingly. I need 1 main airline. Hi Guys Ive Just tried as a expiment to add the airports from phpvms5.5 to phpvms 7 via CSV and when I did the ones on phpvms7 have disappeared just saying as it will be a real pain in th back side to re add all the airports and schedules again on the final release lol also just wondering on how can I move the live map to Europe as we are currently based in the UK and most of our ops are around Europe regards Michael

Alright so for the longest time I wondered what some of these were, such as @lang('common.dashboard') , which I now know are references to display names. Are these referenced some where and we can change them or choose from a list? Not sure what these mean, {{ trans_choice('common.pilot', 2) }} , or what the number at the end means. Just wondering. I know we can place static text where we need too to replace those! Thanks!

Hi all, We are very new to this system, our current system is on VAM which is now unsupported by the original developer. So we were looking to build a new site to move too over the next few months. I setup hosting and installed phpVMS, I used the vs7 from the developer and also purchased the Acars module. I have now had a few comments saying that we should use phpVMS v5 as that is the current software. Most of you have been around here for a while so should we push on with 7 or drop back to 5. best wishes Doug

Hello I'm using PHPVMS7 DEV, and after a week of use, the rating and pay-per-flight system for pilots stopped working. I've searched here on the forum and on discord and haven't found anything I can do. Even putting it in the automatic homologation post, it does not approve the pireps, as well as it does not generate expenses and income and does not pay the pilots. follow some images below. even pressing the recalculation button does not this was the first one that worked correctly
