EDIT - Only use if your hosting does not support PHP 8.1 or higher. If your host supports PHP 8.1 or higher, use phpVMS v7. Present users of phpVMS v2/v5 should use the legacy import feature of phpVMS v7. New VAs should install phpVMS v7. After much time and effort fixing errors, I now have phpVMS 5.5.2 working successfully on PHP 7.2. My live site has been running this for over 3 months. The installation program has now been updated to be able to install under PHP 7.2 as well. After much testing, including by several members here, I decided to release this version to the community. Hi guys... PHP 5.x series has been deprecated as we all know, and with cPanel now dropping support as of Jan 2018, that is going to put a lot into a bind. So I've been working on bringing up that compatibility level. First step is making sure that everything is backwards compatible, so it would be great if people can test and report back issues. I recommend creating a duplicate of your site, and applying updates. I'm trying to make as few changes as possible for now to make diffs easier. Thanks to @DisposableHero Github master file has been changed to accommodate IPv6 IP addresses. New installs after the date/time of this post will be set up for IPv4 and IPv6 IP addresses. https://github.com/ProAviaAZ/phpvms_5.5.2.72 Previous installs can update to allow IPv6 addresses by running the SQL queries below. The third party Open Flash Chart script that is used within phpVMS has an exploit that has been used recently and often to deface and/or alter sites using the phpVMS software. I have cleaned 11 of my client's sites in the last 36 hours. Although some sites have been obviously defaced with homepages replaced, some have had advertising scripts uploaded to redirect users to various companies. Before the update i had a pilot flying and it was showing that he was climbing and he was at FL300 and then i did the update the newest beta update and now he landed and its still showing he is at FL300 and also any other pilot trying to fly now it doesnt show on the website. Is there anything that i should do to get the tracking to work or what. Please help

Hi, Has anyone ever produced something that sends an email to the pilot when their pirep has been accepted. I have looked in the forums and have found similar like email pireps data but have been unable to find what I am after. Maybe even an email to say Pirep accepted or if rejected and the reason ?? Looking forward to hearing from someone

I could swear I've seen this somewhere, but can't find it now. And was unable to find ANY reference using Search. Can the flight time separator be changed from ' . ' to ' : '? And where is this setting? My present 2.x site uses the period ( . ) and I'd like to change to the colon ( : ) on my 5.5.2 site. With a 5.5.2 site, does it matter which separator is used? Is there an advantage to using one over the other? TIA!

I've been running phpvms for about 2 years now for Buffalo Airways Virtual, last week our account was suspended as we were using over 25% of the RAM on the whole server! The web host said that there may be too many querys going to the database, the database for phpvms is over 170mb! What would I have to do to disable some querys? Would compressing and re-indexing the database make us use less of the server? If yes, do you know how I can do this? This is the first time we have used over our 5% allocated RAM space in 2 years. hey folks! im working rnw on the new Virtual Airline System for FSCloud. I want to build in web541 Version of his FLTbook System. I moved al the files created the all entries. Page is working but when i try to book a flight the window where you can chose the plane pops up but always close immediately. I didn't changed the code or styled anything.. Hi again, As written in the fsacars notice, the error message might show up (which did in my case) but PIREP is sent to system... The only issue with that is : Fsacars thinks the flight log is still not sent and so, at next flight it will send again and again the previous flight... Is this because fsacars does not receive a "OK" from the website ? I am willing to help you on that subject to identify the bug... Thanks for the help ! ;D

Hello We have an error with the pireps and FSACARS. When a pilot sent a pirep from FSACARS, he uses the SEND LOG button. After he clicked on this button, he has this message : Log sent ! After that, I receive an e-mail : A PIREP has been submitted by FSW004 FSW0004: TNCM to SOCA Aircraft: 3, Flight Time: 2.15 File using: fsacars All seems to be ok, but I don't have the pirep in phpVMS. No pirep in the database, no pirep in the admin panel, no pirep in all the system ! I just have the e-mail, but I don't have the pirep. Hi, My virtual airline has just started and pilots cannot seem to bid on flights. When they go to "Pilot Center" > "View Flight Schedules" and then choose the one they want and click "Add to Bid", they get taken to a blank page with "no route passed". The bid doesn't get added. I have left the route field blank in my schedules as it says you can, what do I have to enter there if it fixes the problem?

Sorry if I open an other post but the other user hasn't got my problem. In basic template routemap and livemap work without problems. They seem to be registering several times because they think it hasn't been processed properly. Is there a way in the schedule_results.tpl to check the latest pirep submit dates with todays date so that i can make something like if the pirep submitdate == today for that flight number and then echo a specific image in the line of that specific scheduled flight? The reason i want something like that is because i want that every flightnumber can only be flown once per day. Any ideas?
