Having problems accepting pireps on 254. I get the following error. Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB::build_update() in /home/flyakaco/public_html/core/common/PIREPData.class.php on line 789 This happens with Accept all or accepting them signally.

Hello everybody, I've noticed that a lot of VA's direct you to a management page, separate from the main site, when you log in. This page usually has a completely different template. I have the content all ready - I'm just not quite sure how to make a new page (just one page) with a separate template, but still be able to access the database in the very same way that I do on every other page (because I'm copying some code over). Hi is there an easy way of listing a pilots last arrival in their profile? What im trying to do is have pilots follow on from their arrival airport as in the real world but on different equipment. So ay one day i do EGKK to EHAM then when i come back id start from EHAM which would be listed in my profile as a reminder. Thanks

for the past 2-3 days i have this problem. In the Acarsmap even there are pilots flying the map does not works. I have cleared the Acars table, the cache, optimize the tables. After all that the planes appear for 1-2 minutes and then nothing. In the SQL table there are the data of the pilots that flying and the folder cache has 777 permissions. G'day, Since the update version of PHPVMS in FSacars the "flight from VA" button works but when I Stop Log and then except the flight I get a conversion error. Then when I look at the log I have a zero hour flight. The flight uploads to the VA ok but with zero hours. I have tried using FSacars to record the flight entering all the flight/plane data manually and everything works fine so there seems to be a problem still with getting flight from VA. I have tried reinstalling FSacars and I have used the latest .ini but still have the same problem.

Hey, so I do still have the registration problem, but it still goes through. But i had a problem with flight schedules when I added a bid it said, "No route passed' So i took out: <script type='text/javascript' src='<?php echo SITE_URL?>/lib/skins/sleekv1/js/custom.js'></script> <script type='text/javascript' src='<?php echo SITE_URL?>/lib/skins/sleekv1/js/jquery-1.2.6.min.js'></script> And now i can add a flight bid, but I cant see them when I click my flight bids, All i see is "No bids on any flights" and now the 7 scheduels i made arent there because i bidded on them... any help?

Dear, I see that the staff is very advanced using PHPvms, I went on a website and found interesting a system that only releases the registration if the pilot has a VATSIM or IVAO VID. It's a pretty cool system, ie the pilot enter the registration page by clicking on the link "I want to register" opens a page to enter the VID, the system does a search if the result is correct the record is released, if not real system show an error message. Ok guys. It is once again time for me to make my self look real stupid which I am pretty good at doing. All I am trying to do is insert a pilots ID and First and last name in a table. The Pilot ID should be a link to his or her own public profile while the first and last name are merely that, just a name (no link). I have tried every single code I can until I have been blue in the face for 4 or 5 days now and still no good. I simply can not figure out how to get that code or where it comes from. I have consulted many php readings and all of it is different then we use here it seems. So I figure after almost a week of trying it was time to ask. I hate to ask for help …

Go cav VA theres a link to the page. now how do i add a forums deal on there so when they click it, itll automatically take them to my forums. ive tried adding a page but they have to click that page then click the link to get to it. i dont really like that.. anyone have any ideas?

So, has anyone had the same issues with the navdat.sql file?! It does NOT show accurately where certain VOR's are, nor correct listings of fixes etc. For instance, MANY vor's don't list a correct latitude. It just will put a '0' in there. This is very prevalent in many U.S. vor's. So when someone flies a route, on the map, it shows the vor along the equator. Also, many FIX'es get listed as vors and vice versa, on the map. So what I am getting at, is.....did I do something wrong with the install, or is the navdata file just really bad?!

Hello, I have the problem that I get no statistics indicated. Under "MyStats" or also in the Admin Panel with "pilot of report for the Past Week" I see only this error message. Unfortunately, the search also has nobody occur brought. The newest update is on it. Just I wanted to insert a few airports, now he himself does not find known any more. If I fill everything of hand, the system does not accept him. Can somebody help me? Greets Thomas

Hey, when I import my secdhules, and I have many airports to create and I want the secdhule importer to look it up and put it in, I don't want to bother putting over 400 airports in manauly? Is there something wrong with the Airport Look Up system or what? Becasue every airport cannot be found in the sechdule importer.

Hi, I know I brought this post up in the past, but I was unable to set it up. The code I had was completely wrong and closed out all the schedules besides AAL001. Does anyone have any other idea on how I can erstrict New Hires from flying like 777's? Like in the real world, new pilots first start small, as there hours get bigger so do the aircraft they can fly. Thanks Ada

I just got all my file transferred to the FiveDev server, I noticed when I go to edit a pending PIREP that all the fields are blank and the links on the left are for sending email to all pilots. When I first tried the links were for Pilot Shop, I deleted that MOD and I get the email links. ANy ideas whats causing this?

Hi All. I am currently setting up a VA for an airline that runs on a simulator other than msfs or xplane. It is FlightGear which is a free open source sim. It's not quite upto all the bells and whistles that the aforementioned sims have, but i want to provide a top notch va for the community there. FlightGear has its own multiplayer servers and a flight can be tracked via these, so i would like to know if the Acars systems can be adapted to point to servers other than msfs etc? Where would i begin looking? i have very limited programming skills unfortunately.. Thanks Alex

In my installation, it didn't ask for an API code. I can't get my ACARS map to work. http://virtualamerican.org/index.php/acars If I go to my settings, it doesn't let me put in an API code there either. Thanks for the help in advance.

Ok so I want to install PHPvms on my hosting server at webfaction.com I have to select the use of a custom app listening on a port. The problem is once the site is uploaded to the FTP and linked to my domain I'm not getting anything. I'm assuming its because phpvms is not linking to that port specified for me. Heres what the site tells me when I'm creating the custom app (basically an app that the hosting service dosn't provide) This installer assigns an unprivileged port on which custom software can listen. Hi We have some code to pull the airline logo for our recent flights board - but I would like to return the same for the live flight info. For some reason the same code does not work and instead of returning the airline logo it returns VTA as the answer all the time for every flight and displays the airline logo. The code we use for the recent flight board is below and works fine. I have tried editing it but cannot find the solution. Should it be looking at the $PIREP data or something else? Admin sections of phpVMS installs have been experiencing very slow page response times in some cases due to the non-response of the phpVMS API server due to 502 errors, just as the forum is at times. The admin section of the sites checks the version against the API server and when there is no response will wait till the connection times out. To stop the automatic check open your local.config.php file and change the version checks to false.
