Ok so I got a VPS cause i had a 508 Resource Limit Issue. It is resolved. Now that I am on my own VPS im using Virtualmin and everything is so different and weird. >.< . Anyway I got (and I think still am getting) permission denied erorrs even though i navigated to the folders and set them to 0777. (the small permission errors seem to affect noting) Anyway I am in the admin center trying to update a pilot profile (it says edit saved (or whatever the heck it says) u know the green thing) but its not saving. I use to get a permission error (fixed it) but the info still wont save. I cant as well edit pages within the admin center either. Like i can save it but its not …

Hi, I am having trouble with my pilot_public_profile.tpl. In the image below as shown, the entire background of the pilot profile gets messed up when the pilot did not file a single pirep. On the second image, it shows that it is perfectly normal after filing a pirep. Any ideas how to fix the first image problem?

Trickey little one this, has anyone managed to make in the Pilot Public Profile the Vatsim and IVAO id's Clickable, so when you click on the number it will take to to where ever like vataware for example. These are listed as additional profile fields or is it just a case of making a custom sql query up with an if else statement?

Estimated People My name is Ignacio, and I'm taking my first steps in phpvms. I was able to install and configure the system well, the problem I have is that every time I edit a pilot, your ranking changes at the lowest rank. Any idea how to solve it (if possible). I seach this problem in this forum but not find any post for that. Best regards

How can something so simple be causing me so much trouble. I can not get this file to show up. I have tried the domain name path along with the file path and just the direct root path. When we change a pilots rank/level from within phpVMS ( in the "admin" section - pilot details ) it does not update in the database. So every change means going into the DB to adjust manually rankid + rank + ranklevel Any pointers ? Where to start looking ?

Hi all, My apologies if this is hidden somewhere here, but I was wondering if somewhere it would be possible to edit the code and restrict usage on aircraft depending on your pilot rank. Without this, I don't see much point to even having pilot ranks available aside from the pretty badge you get to wear. For example, I've got two ranks; First Officer and Second Officer. I would only like the FO's to be able to operate the 737's in our fleet, while I would like the SO's to be able to operate the 737's and 747's. Any way this would be possible or am I missing something? Cheers, Austin.

I recongnize that the system displays ranks on the basis of hours and that I could probably alter something, somewhere to credit our pilots for time served under our old system, but our "executives" shouldn't have their hours displayed because I'd have to set executive rank hours absurdly high to prevent some one from replacing me as CEO. ;D Is there something I missed that would allow me to display executive ranks that are independent of hours?

Hello, We are currently having problems. Someone was signing up and he did his registration fine. Then i get an email saying a pilot has registered, so i go to the admin center and its not there. No one else had accepted it, but yet i was still getting the email? Can anyone help please? Myles

Hi all, I am currently facing and issue where when a pilot registers for the VA and his registration is still pending, the pilot will receive an email stating that he is retired. The last filed PIREP date would be indicated as 01/01/1970. This is due to the fact that we have the auto retire system turned on. Is there a way to correct such an issue ? Thanks Sean

Hi, I have tried to search the forum but have not found anything similiar. I installed phpVMS yesterday on my server. I'am familiar with the system and have worked with it several times before. The problem I have is that when I try to register a pilot using the /register module nothing happpens. No error-message nothing. The only thing that happens is that the password and the reCapatche gets erased. If I remove for example the first name an error message regarding that comes up. Well, a email was sent to a pilot under "Pilot retired" due to last flight was 90 days ago, the detail is the last flight of this pilot was four days ago i checked the localconfig and all is going well. Several times the sistem send emails to pilots under "Pilot retired" instead they are active. Any suggestion. Thanks and regards
