Hello! When I downloaded the "update.zip" it also includes files that are not updated (not mentioned in the changelog), so if I upload all these files it will also overwrite files that are modified by me, for example, most of the templates and so on. So it is quite hard work to get everything to work in correct way again. Also when doing this "restore" operation I may also accidentally overwrite some new flies with older backup files, in order to get the site to look like it used to be before the update. I am having trouble with fsacars. For whatever reason it is not displaying on the live map on my website. It is however displaying on the live map for fsacars itself. Is there something more i need to do other than downloading the ini to input into fsacars. Also I saw where other where having the same problem and someone mentioned a solution for a fix for it by just going to the acars/flights page. Well when I try that this is the erro that pops up. Can someone explain what files the ACARS system use to load and what they use to sumit the flights. I want to edit it because if you change any of the fields (altitude, aircraft, etc.) in flight, it ignores it and submits the values from the route it loaded (for XAcars anyways). Also, wondering how hard it would be to get rid of registrations and make it determine the aircraft using ICAO. Thanks

Hi guys Seeing that my acars system is now working (http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/7552-xacars-setupinstall/) I have some other issues with it. That is to say: I only really had time to fly with xacars so far, so if some of the below features do work with another acars please enlighten me. 1. Submission of my pilot report works fine. However, if I completed a bidded flight, then that bid doesn't get removed. Is there a way to do this automatically? 2. On an other airline I flew with (austrian airlines, I think its not phpvms), I had to enter a route and flightlevel before my bid would be actived, . This was then populated in acars. I am trying out ACARS for a EGLL-KMIA flight, however its been 15 minutes and I am not sure how acurate it is. Because while I was taxiing it said I was taking off, thats not a huge concern however it says that I am over the welsh border but alot more north than I am, I am infact exactly on my flight path at this time, and it says that I am crusing about 1 minute after I took off, and I was climbing to FL250. There are loads of other things but I am not really sure why it is so inacurate, I was expecting for it to be precise pretty much, some of the info its telling me, I don't know how its come up with that.

Hey, I'm kinda new to php and need a lot of help here. I run a Virtual Airline for FlightGear (an Open Source Flight Simulator) and we have a phpVMS website. Even before we started using phpVMS for VA management, we had a basic local ACARS which records your basic flight data every 3 minutes and stores it in a kml file. We can open the kml file with google Earth and it'll show you a 3D map. I was wondering if I can do anything to have this transmitted to phpVMS once FlightGear is closed. (i.e.when the kml file stops receiving data) Or this might be better, while FlightGear is running and the pilot is flying, can it continuously post the data to phpVMS? I can make a GUI m…

Just curious, Do you all have support for ALL versions of flight simulators such as X-plane , Prepar3D and FSX Steam on your ACRS devices? And if so, what ACARS devices do you use on your site so not to exclude any simmers? I ask because I am in charge of building a new airline and Im not sure which way to go. I know one ACARS in particular only supports FSX and FS9. That is certainly a no go as far as I am concerned. SmartCars? Kinda of hard for a start up VA to pay that much for a script when not knowing if their airline is ever going to take off or not. Hello, My acars map does not remove the icons from the previous populate actions. It keeps the aircraft icon from the old updates, for example this is the same aircraft, and it has not been cleared its last position off the map when the map rendered the new location. Any fix?

Good day! I have a problem with the acars data. They're not being removed from the database. I edited the file local.config.php on intranet/core to modify this line: Config::Set('ACARS_LIVE_TIME', 15); But it still does nothing. Does anybody know how to get rid of that annoying bug ? Thanks

Moved to a new webhost. Installed phpvms 5.5.2 simpilot 7.2. Everything worked fine accept couldnt get the acars to send data to the database. So thought it may be an issue with that and decided to install the standard phpvms 5.5.2 simpilot version. Still having the same issue, data can be pulled from the site with kacars but the data sent back does not populate the database, so no flights show on live map. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I am looking for an Acars developer. If this is something you can do, please get in contact. I have a heavily modified vms system running on php7.4, happy to create new framework to support integration. Acars must be backwards compatible ie, fsuipc offsets and able to process data using simconnect. If this is something you can achieve let me know and we can discuss payment. Thanks, Mark.

Hey Guys, I have a question when it comes to developing an ACARS Software. How should I send the data and receive back from the php file. I was wondering if anyone know how to make the ACARS map table show "No live flights" like the how the recent flights table does. I've attempted using the <?php if(count( [i]number of flightnumbers[/i] ) > 0){ [i]show table content[/i] }else{ [i]show no flights [/i]} ?> function, however, it doesn't work. Maybe putting ASP into PHP doesn't work? I've tried doing <?php if(count( ?> <%=flight.flightnum%> <?php ) > 0 however, I receive unexpected end of document ?> (or something like that). Anybody try this before and know a solution?

Hello, I am using smartCARS and would like to show my Flights on the ACARS LiveMap ... we using OpenFlightMaps! The Tracker update the data in the Database( acars ) but the Data will not show on the LiveMap! Any Soulution?

Alright, I have begun making an ACARS for my VirtualAirline in VisualBasic .NET. Anyways I have worked everything out EXCEPT the XML sending and receiveing including the "Login" for it. Other than that it is coming along good. Can anybody explain in detail on what to do? Thanks in advanced, Chad

Ok, After looking at many VB.net helping posts I am still VERY confused on how to make it exactly. All I have right now is the login(VB) but using xml how does that take there username and password and login. I understand I need to make a module for this but I am clueless on excatly how its done. If anybody can walk me though it or give me a SDK of an acars or anything would help Thanks!

Before the update i had a pilot flying and it was showing that he was climbing and he was at FL300 and then i did the update the newest beta update and now he landed and its still showing he is at FL300 and also any other pilot trying to fly now it doesnt show on the website. Is there anything that i should do to get the tracking to work or what. Please help

One thing I used to like, but it doesn't do it anymore, was.... When you clicked on an aircraft on the acars map, it would show the route in red, and would join up to your aircraft current position. Now it just shows a straight line from dep to arr airports. Do you know what I mean by that? Also, can the acars map show the route using the navdata table and not just a straight line?
