Hi there i just want to know how we can make search form to search pilots by IDS or Names or possibly both. can anybody tell me the code i also wanted to implement it on by other website not associated with PHPVMS. Thanks in Advance

I am hoping someone out there can help me again with another issue. I am using my own skin and have my own Search form and results page and the form works fine but the resulting search doesn't have any formatting, it almost seems as though it isn't adhering to the same rules for the layout file? Is this true, or should the search results conform to the page content like any other template file? Perhaps I need to add the relevant style links directly in the search result file (schedule_results.tpl/php)? Thanks, Graham

With over 1300 routes (and rising), I thought I would make it easier for our pilots to get find flights they wanted, by adding additional airlines to handle cargo and regional flights, etc. Is it possible to search routes by airline code in the pilot center? How would it be done?

How can I modify my flight scheduling/booking system (phpVMS standard one) to also search by pilot rank either standalone or as a modifier to dep/dest? The resulting schedule would show those flights for that rank and below. Thanks!

Had a quick search over the forums but no luck. People have asked I believe how to be able to search the schedules by using hundreds of different variations. But what I was wondering if it's possible to add an alternative flight search box by flight type? You know, when you upload the schedules you can say if each route is either: The reason I say it is as you know I have a charter airline and there are literally tens of thousands of charter routes, but then amongst those there are are few routes which are actually "Scheduled" routes. So to be able to filter those from the charter routes I was hoping to be able to search by either "P" passenger flights or "H" Chart…

I have a website that was built for me by Jasper Bussemaker, who I gather is no longer in business? My website is hosted by GoDaddy.com in the USA, and has recently started giving me some error messages (I suspect because MY software is very old, and no longer compatible with the platform on which it's being run)? How do you guys handle website development with an active site? Do you have another domain, or sub-domain. Or is running a local server such as easyphp the best way to do that. My site is up and running fine, however I am wanting to develop a wider skin and don't want to risk messing something up at my main site.

Hi everyone, I have been looking into the possibility of running my copy of phpvms via secure connection so that if people browse to http:// they are redirected automatically to https:// as my paid hosting offers free security certificates and secure hosting. I did a test of it on my testbed platform for phpvms, added the secure hosting to the domain, added the certificate, added the code to the htaccess file for phpvms and set url rewrite in the config file to true however it didnt load the page correctly. Dear All, Is there any solution for selecting aircraft from schedule_results.tpl? For example EGKK-EDDM flight is added as B738 to schedules database, it would be nice to have drop-down, where pilots could select other aircraft types like A320. Then the (custom) weight calculations would be correct on schedule_briefing.tpl. It is just annoying to add all schedules 2 times. Best Regards,

Dear aviation community, did one of you knows whether it is possible to define a select option in the registration so that if the pilot goes to submit, he will either be forwarded to page x if he has selected value1, and to page y if he chose value2. Furthermore, it would be nice if someone knows how to import the selected value into the database. Thank you in advance, Tim

Hi Guys, So I did a lot of research and found this. To which it didn't really help but it sorta did. Hello all, I am coding an private ACARS program for our VA. I need to know what format phpVMS can receive pilot reports. The program is all in Visual Basic with the log stored in a Rich Text box. Maybe convert that to XML or something? Thanks, Mitch

Got this message: "Schedule does not exist. Please update this manually". What hapenned is this. I always run 2 log programs; Kacars AND FSFK. Well, I forgot to start Kacars, so, oh well, it didn't matter because I use FSFK as a backup anyways. Well, when I went to send in my log, FSFK said "The flight has been successfully sent to the Web service", but when the webpage opened up, as it does in fsfk, I got the above error. Now, I haven't used any other log for awhile, so just wondering if anything changed lately would affect this?
