One of the major hurdles when setting up a virtual airline from scratch is the amount of data that has to be input to get a working airline. How many hours do you need to spend input airport data , aircraft data , flight data etc. If you say you had just 4 airports that you start off with as 'HUB' airports i.e. A B C D then the number of flights you would at least expect to create are. A-B , A-C , A-D , B-C, B-D and then C-D that's already 6 flights needed. But in reality you may obviously want to fly outside of just the hub airports and typically you 4 airports may require the input of say another 200 airports as other destinations so the number of flights starts getti…

Hello, I have been working on adding a new service to my "arsenal". This new one is pretty cool for VAs and other group organizations! It is a custom UI or "skin" for MSFSX. Attached are some screenshots of what I have been able to do for American Airlines Virtual. I have been developing a new map module now for a while and since it's getting close to release i decided to show a few preview shots. The map allows your pilots to search flights and directly go to the flight details page from the search results. So it would be possible to completely replace the schedule search of your VA with this map. The connecting flights (yellow lines) which can be enabled via the checkbox is only for eyecandy and limited to 2 flights per airport. You can of course adjust the number in the query but i would keep it at 2. Else your map will be full of lines depending on how many scheduled flights you have. Hello wonderful PHPVMS world Calling all talented programmers, this is quite a task but easy for a lot of you! Many of our pilots are getting X-Plane 10 (great simulator, to say the least) and we need a custom ACARS for X-Plane. XACARs is very bland, we'd be willing to pay eh the price of custom KACARs or SmartCARs. $60-$100 range sounds fair.
