Getting the following message on the Get Flight Number info block. This problem appeared suddenly last evening for no apparent reason "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt tp continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Input string was not in a correct format Details (Included in the .zip attachment JIT Debugging is not active - have no idea how to do that. exception.zip

Hi, Windows 7 32 bit. kAcars 1.0.1.5 provided by VBird VA. kAcars run as administrator = OK Login to VA = OK Problem: When I minimize the program, it is shown as an icon in the system tray. It is not possible to restore the window again. Double click nor right click on the icon in the system tray have any effect. Please can somebody advise? Thanks in advance Jacob

After an upgrade to my development server, I have a test version on phpVMS up and running. After downloading and updating the Kacars module and connecting via the program nothing is being transmitted to the mySQL database. Not sure if a port is closed or what? Hello I got the following error message the other day (see screenshot) and then kacars crashed. Any idea what could be the matter? I had a similar issue some time ago which took down my fsx completely and afterward kacars didnt work any more - had to reinstall it and, as I later found out, remove profile files which the uninstaller had left behind

hello, Yesterday during a flight I noticed that kacars suddenly showed "connection error". This sometimes happens but usually goes away after a short while. This time, even after landing, 8 hours later, it was still there. I started a new instance and when I tried to log in I get the switch=verify error. Now, Im absolutely sure the url is correct. After all, I logged in yesterday morning and started a flight, without changing it! Also, it's not my PC: i switched off the windows firewall and AV, just in case, and also installed it on another machine. It doesn't work on either machines. I'm suspecting my service provider tinkered with some settings, …

Just had another idea, Would it be possible to use multiple profiles? If a pilot flies for more than just 1 VA so instead of having to retype the log in information each time.

Hi all, New issue for me with kACARS. I have a guy doing his first flight for our new airline and he has just said kACARs won't let him file the Pirep both using the button or manually. He said he gets an error message saying schedule does not exist. Gday When i attempt to login to kACARs, i get !CONNECTION ERROR in the bottom right of the application, and this error: Notify System Administrator of the Switch error. Data not recieved Switch=verify some help would be great right now, i dont have a clue whats going on Cheers

Kacars seems to be working fine for most of my pilots but 1 guy having problems. He is on windows 7 64 bit his kacars 1.0.0.8 logs in but when he clicks get flight bid it returns no flight found. Tried to troubleshoot installed new version on site and module then switched back nothing worked. So tried for him to find flight by putting in flight number it worked but on live map his name didnt show but flight number showed and had like 10 entries, and the pirep wasnt sent when flight ended. Hes using xacars right now but would prefer to have him on kacars.

I've noticed that kacars free registers constant pauses if you switch screens while flying, for instance from the flight to your desktop (flight sim is minimized). My sim doesn't pause when I do so and this clutters up the flight data with pauses that aren't really pauses at all. I really do see the need for this, or it is just an error.

Well, lets start off by saying that your kACARS is the best. It just works right out of the blocks. Thank you very much!! I was wondering about the possibility of the actual departure time being read from the sim and not from the system. Most of the flight we fly are normal daytime flights, but are flown in the evenings, or wee hours of the morning, but we set the departure time to a few minutes before the scheduled time to depart, this way we can monitor if the pilot did fly the flight at the correct times or not. Example of a flight that takes place at 15:00 UTC teh sim time was set for 14:50 UTC but the log shows as follows Again thanks for a brilliant products. …

Dear lorathon i have a very important question for you which i noticed from the day i shifted on Kacars application. many of my pilots complained about this issue so please look into it and reply with the solution. When ever pilots do a flight of 3 hours or any short flight and during the flight they use Simrate of 8x or 4x or 16x sometimes so after completion of the flight Kacars should have to submit the actual flight time according to the schedule of the flight or the actual time of the flight pilot spent but after so many tests i find that whenever we use 4x simrate on 2 hr 30 min flight or less or more flight time it records the less time of the flight last flight …

Hello to all. I know we have tossed around the fuel issue with kACARS many times, but fellas, something is not jiving for me. Look at the numbers in the log first and then look up top where the arrow is pointing. Something is not set right or I am missing something very important. a 1 hour flight loosing almost 1 million dollars in fuel? I know the site is supposed to convert fuel and all that and I read a thread that kACARS reports in pounds and then converts according to the site config. Am I missing something of value? I am having errors with all acars tools that have been working before perfect. kacars free and Kacarsi are the two most used. And I have the issue about year and cannot find a solution. Kacars Free and the paid version of this give me a Connection error. And the paid version I receive an connection closed. For reference I have been using ccftracker. And I receive nearly the same error message. Login error - The connection to the VA site has timed out! hey Jeff i have a wierd error atm when bidding on a flight kacars cant find it annymore so when a pilot make a bid opens kacars and then select get flight number info it returns no flights found. also the setting is not search by flight so it schould find the bidded flight gr joeri
