Is anyone else getting an https warning on their Android device? Or a "Cannot Verify Server Identity" on iOS? Does this have to do with the transfer of hosting from Simpilot to Nabeel?

I have a quick question. Not really support or bug related...I do not think at least so I enquire in general. If a pilot transfers say 50 hours of time to the VA, does that effect his/her rank too? Or does it just give time credit per profile and NOT count towards rank?

Just thinking out loud here - With the announcement that SimPIlot is closing down his site and http://www.simpilotgroup.com/ ...................... What becomes of VA Central, version 3 of phpVMS and this support forum? It was my understanding that SimPilot was involved in keeping all of this functioning. I do see that Nabeel is working on version 4 of phpVMS. Who will be responsible for VA Central and this sites web hosting after SimPilot closes? I see the front page no longer shows anything about version 3 and appears to have reverted back to the original page (prior to version 3 announcement).

Did anyone try out the new AMD driver with Mantle support and FSX? I myself just had to rebuild FSX completely due to a Microsoft update which crashed up my whole AMD driver and in the end rebuilding my computer, so I'm a bit reluctant to try myself..

Hi guys, I know this is a bit broad but I was wondering how most of you VA owners configure your flight prices against your fuel prices. For example, this evening I did a flight from Stansted to Jersey and lost £8,000 due to fuel prices to that of the ticket prices. I ideally want to setup my VA to have realistic finances, I believe that the live fuel prices only work in the US and as my VA is only going to fly within the EU I assume that I cannot use the fuel prices so could someone recommend a good or semi realistic fuel price to setup in phpVMS. At the moment I left it as the automatic 5.10 but changed my fuel measurement to KG maybe this has something to do with …

I haven't bashed MS in a long time. (a week) That is about to change. I went to the MS online store and got Outlook 2010. I downloqded the 64 bit version, which promptly told me since I had Office 2007 32 bit, I couldn't install it. Gotcha #1. I downloaded the 32 bit version, which refused to install because it thinks I still have one of the prerelease versions installed. I uninstalled it months ago. I would tell Steve Ballmer to go to hell, but hell hasn't caused me any trouble, so why should I bother hell.

hello some time ago I tried to sign up with IVAO but the listbox where you're supposed to put your country didnt work.. somebody cocked up a javascript. Doesn't work on IE nor on chrome. I thought maybe they working on it, so I left it. Now I come back and see the same error is still there. Anyone else also experiences this?

Hi Nabeel. I was just wondering, with the coding the way it is now, how hard would it be to make it so that awards name and description is a tooltip ( Alt Text ) when you mouse over an award image instead of it appearing beside the image. I think it would simply be for asthetics of course. I'm not asking for this to be a built in feature, was just a thought I had. I was going to take a stab at it, but I decided against it. Reason: Since I am on Beta, I hate to come back and report something broke after I altered it. That is not fair to waste your time like that on something that might be my fault.Â

As we know, there are several spammers lurking in the community who will do everything to ruin the work put into creating phpVMS sites. I thought it'd be useful to create a blacklist, where we can post the details of the pilots who are spammers or suspected to be. Go ahead - lets hope this cuts down the number of spam attacks. I've got about 300 on my forum... currently looking for the two I recently deleted.

Hey guys, i'm currently creating a new community site for virtual airline staff and pilots. Of course it will also be open to any Flightsim enthusiast who likes to join. The main purpose is that virtual airlines find any possible information centered on one site plus give pilots who look for a VA a place where they can easily browse through VAs from all over the world. Secondly it also gives people who offer services for VAs the chance to advertise on one place thus making it easier for VA CEOs to find these services. 6-23-17 I have seen phpVMS go through many different phases in what is nearly 10 years since I stumbled across it. Nabeel has been able to create the defacto application for people that want to start or run a virtual airline and keeping it free and open source deserves nothing but appreciation for Nabeel. So I was thinking, seeing as phpVMS is hosted on github, we could get around the whole downloading a zip, uploading, etc etc etc. How easy would it be to set up a "stable" branch of phpVMS on github, which the updater can pull a zip of and install itself? (Also if it's not that easy, having a "stable" branch alone would be super handy as the master is not always error-free, and there aren't any historic downloads in the downloads tab on github )

Hello. I have spent a while searching for a JavaScript code to remember what a user has clicked on in their last visit on the internet for what I am looking for what I need but I cant find it. So I was wondering if anyone here has ever came across such a code online before? Is anyone else using IPBoard, like the one here. I am having trouble with the latest post on my main site. Their SSI is really bad. The other option is to use their IP Content module. I don't want to spend another $50, for IP COntent. Doeas someone have a script to show the latest post from my board to display on my main page?
