I downloaded the exact same skin as in the Beginner Skin video and was doing fine until I got to the part to insert this: class="main_link" I have the purple and blue links but can not fix the line below to show the white colored links in the video. Hey Guys, I've been trying to skin my website up but to be honest I have no artistic flare when it comes to things like this. I can build websites when I get a designer to "draw" it for me ;D So i'm looking for someone who may be able to assist me with skinning up my site. Does anyone have a banner solution for this skin? I did get one from bannersnack to work, but it restarts every time you go to a new page. Wowslider does not stay the size I create it to be, always larger. Anyone else have a good one? Free preferably.

I thought that my skin was working fine. Then today when I logged in something is wrong. I created a page with my route maps on it. But it doesen't show up in the navigation bar. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hey guys so I was working on my site when I was trying to make I guess you can say my site's width bigger. I have some of examples of what I am talking about. I would like to be able to add a different color image behind where all the words on my site are. This is probably going to be dead simple but I've tried a few ways and can't get it working. So I have created a new page called "liveries" and have dumped my html content into it and when I preview the page it shows nicely. I have then tried to create the url link from the nav menu, but every time I click the link I get the "module does not exist" message. The code for the nav link I'm using is: <li><a href="<?php echo url('/liveries'); ?>">Liveries</a></li> Anyone got an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hi everyone, First off I have to issue a disclaimer that I'm not very good with coding or CSS but I'm trying to learn. I'm trying to style tables ( for the first time ever) and they are showing up correctly in Chrome and FireFox but not in IE9. I thought I would try to create a reference guide that is more of a list of elements and pieces that you can put into a template (a little more in-depth than the documentation). Hello, I have been using phpVMS for my virtual airline for about a year now, and I have so far been very pleased. Recently the real airline my virtual one is based on changed their logo. I have therefore changed the virtual one too, but the problem is I can not change the topbanner for some reason... What I did was basically replacing the images in the images folder of the skin with the new ones. I deleted the old and gave the new ones the same name, which really should work... but it doesn't, when I open the website in the browser the old banners and skin appears. Hello All, I am currently designing a new skin for my virtual airline. I was just wondering if you could help me out. I am creating a "Latest Arrivals" Section and a "New Pilots" Section for my VA's homepage. I got a quick question. Not sure if I have a skin issue or what. On my live site, I have a recent bids block and it shows like this: N839TA-CYVR to PANC Now the N839TA is bold. On my test website, I added recent bids block and nothing is bold, all the text is real small and it reads like this: 7 - MEP401 - KBWI to KMKE I used the same exact code from my live site. So I know why the text is small and not bold. It is the .css . What I am curious of is where in the hell is the 7 - coming from? And it will only show one recent bid instead of the 5 like I have it set to show. Not quite sure what the hell is going on.

I've been playing around with the crystal skin. While it looks clean and crisp, I am not happy with wasting all that space on the screen. I understand that the whitespace on the left and right is a repeated background graphic. What I'd like to do is replace that with areas for pictures, anouncements, etc., on each side of the main page. If I were dealing with garden variety html, I wouldn't have to ask this question, but these pages contain PHP, so I have to ask how and where would I make these modifications. Thanks in advance. Hi i am currently in the process of making a brand new website for my VA, and i was wandering if there is any way that i can make it/design it in dreamweaver and then add all the scripts like login, pireps into a specially made page for that specific job. I want to make every individual page then add all the scripts and link them too the phpvms. I hope i will be able to do this, thanks James
