Hi all, Happy New Year. I'm experiencing a few issues with my registration page after I edited it for formatting, while at the same time adding a few additional fields. I understand that Nabeel gives admins the option to add custom fields via the Admin Panel, but I noticed that when that happens, I'm faced with a huge problem when it comes to formatting. As a result, I formatted the registration_mainform.tpl as I needed it to be formatted and took out the code that included the custom fields. I then manually added those custom fields and created columns in my phpvms_pilots database on my server. After doing so, upon registering a test pilot, I'm encountering this error:…

Tks for the awesome system fist of all. I have problems when typing Chinese. The site shows it in ????... Also, I changed some words like home, pilot center etc. into chinese, i have to change the encoding to BIG-5. How to avoid these problems? thanks Cheers!

I just tried to connect to see if everything works the way it should, and more or less is does. But, as soon as my flight was displayed on the map, the map was zoomed in to the maximum - why's that Should actually look like this And, i then closed Kacars & FS but the flight is still displayed as "taxiing to rwy" - more than 4 hours later - i guess this is just a matter of (in)correct settings, is it ?

Hello , I am using PHPVMS v5.5. I have installed AutoAccept PIREP Module by Baggelis.com. Initially after installation , it showed me errors but after browsing though the forums it helped me get rid of all errors. Now even after having no errors , its not accepting/rejecting the PIREPS. Any Solution?

Hi, This may be a dumb question (and I'm really new to code') but how would I go about using an iFrame to display my live map on an external page? I tried using this: <iframe id="mymap" name="mymap" src="http://crew.panamvirtual.org/index.php/acars" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" width="100%" height="650px" scrolling="no"></iframe> But when I tried to load the page, the spot where it was supposed to be was just blank. Any suggestions?

Hello, as it says in the title, the Google map and Bidding isn’t working in Ela Skin 2018. When I go to a Schedule for example, it says: "Google couldn’t Load right on this Page, more info in the JavaScript console". And with the Bidding, when I tap on the bid flight I Get a error.

Hi i created a skin about 3 years ago for my va this has since folded after some consideration we are building a new va i dont have any of the old files left but i cant for the life of me remember exactly which line of code that has to be removed to stop pages being added to the navbar. Also i cant remember the line of code to call a specific page i.e to use on the front page instead of module calling. hope some one can post these lines of code for me as i have spent ages trawling through the search and forums here to no availe to find dead links or no advise if you cvould help it would be appreciaited Many thanks Craig

I am running into a bit of a challenge. I installed phpVMS on a new website yesterday in a very advanced environment, (meaning I can change some of my own settings...) I have so far found the answer to my other issues, but this one I am not finding. 1> I have downloaded the CSV template for uploading the schedules from my upload page. I am currently having a time zone issue with smartCARS 2.0. It reports the wrong time and date to phpVMS, and it leads to the wrong pilot's location. I am just curious that does anyone else have this issue as well? Also, is there any other options that I can choose to replace the smartCARS?

I have recently installed phpVMS in my website for establishing a virtual airline but facing some problems. The first problem is, whenever a person tries to register, they get an error "Unable to open socket". Also when I try to add airports manually I get an error "There was an error adding the airport". As a result we are unable to develop our website for our virtual airline. Also I'd like to mention that we are currently using a free host for developing our website but are planning to buy a host once we are ready to operate. Hey guys. Roger helped me out with my website but since then the live map wont show up. One of my VA's Malaysia Virtual Airlines, has suddenly decided to give me a lot of php errors, I ran the checkinstall.php and the only error it found was with the kacars free module. http://malaysiava.org I need help trying to figure out why the skin wont show, and the errors are showing. I have not added anything new, or changed any code, so this shouldn't have happened. Any help I can get would be greatly apprieciated.

Hello everybody, I've been working a lot on my website lately. Because I'm a noob at CSS and HTML, I have to refresh almost every time I make an edit. Now, I probably refresh about 30 times in 40 minutes, on average. Unfortunately, being on a free plan, I reach about 70% of the max CPU usage allowed on the site. If I don't refresh so many times, my CPU usage is pretty low. However, I would like to know if there's any good way to help reduce CPU usage. I understand that it depends on your website, and since everyone here uses the same platform, I would hope that somebody may have some advice as to how to save CPU usage. Hi all, I have been at this for a couple of days now and to no avail. I have searched and tried everything I can think of but nothing. Any help would be much appreciated. I know what goes into Database,username and password but the top 2 boxes are doing my head in Localhost database and server. Where can I get this info. I am hosted by fivedev if this helps. Cheers

I have tried to upgrade my phpvms version 2.9.1 to 5.5.2. That resulted in not 100% working. What did I do? Create a database-backup from my regular site and upload that into a temporary testsite database. Unzipped and uploaded the 5.5.2 zipfile to the new location and ran install. The default skin works. But when I go into admin, I see that I am missing items in the menubar. One of them is settings. I can go to settings via /admin/index.php/settings and can change the skin. Yet the skin is not working as expected. But the skin is second plan. First is to fix the adminpart. What do I need to do, in order to accomplish this? Thanks ahead, RobB

Well, I fired off my large import before I went to bed last night and when I checked it is morning it appears that all 3400 of my routes were added. But, not one of my airports were. Here is output of one of the imports: ICAO PANC not added... retriving information: Imported IPG26 (PAJN to PANC) ICAO PANC not added... retriving information: Found: PANC - (,), airport added I just fired off the import again since I'm getting ready to leave for work so hopefully they will add the airport. Any suggestions if they don't?
