I have tried to upgrade my phpvms version 2.9.1 to 5.5.2. That resulted in not 100% working. What did I do? Create a database-backup from my regular site and upload that into a temporary testsite database. Unzipped and uploaded the 5.5.2 zipfile to the new location and ran install. The default skin works. But when I go into admin, I see that I am missing items in the menubar. One of them is settings. I can go to settings via /admin/index.php/settings and can change the skin. Yet the skin is not working as expected. But the skin is second plan. First is to fix the adminpart. What do I need to do, in order to accomplish this? Thanks ahead, RobB

I am attempting to create a test environment in order to make some website changes/testing without affecting the production environment. Is there a good way of copying the production environment into a test environment. I installed a fresh copy of phpvms and overwrote most of the files, but doesn't seem to bring all the formatting over properly. Thanks!

Hello, A few of my assistants have pointed out that the ACARS heading on the map is not displaying correctly when using FSACARS. We havn't yet tested XACARS. Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks, kieran

Hi, This may be a dumb question (and I'm really new to code') but how would I go about using an iFrame to display my live map on an external page? I tried using this: <iframe id="mymap" name="mymap" src="http://crew.panamvirtual.org/index.php/acars" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" width="100%" height="650px" scrolling="no"></iframe> But when I tried to load the page, the spot where it was supposed to be was just blank. Any suggestions?

I am in the EARLY stages of trying to convert my site over to phpvms. It is based on a defunct 'real' airline......CP Air. I have schedules for both real and fictional. Kind of a Realistic one from the past and a fictional modern one that never existed. The schedule does NOT let me have the same ident for different aircraft. I know that makes total sense, but the modern fleet has some idents the same as the old fleet and I have no plans to repaint aircraft Is there any way to make that work somehow? For now I just have to list the ident for the second aircarft as C-FBCP(2) or something to that effect. Which is fine with me if I have to do it that way, was just w…

Hi! I wonder if its possible to run phpvms over a local network using xampp(i understand you cant give me support on this program but ill try) My wishes is to have the server running on a computer connected to my network, but separated from me flight sim computer. This computer wont have anything on it so the security doesnt need to be of concern:-p Now i can access the login page of phpvms when i enter the local ip of the computer that has the server running... but when i log in it seems to try to redirect me to "localhost/blablalba" which causes errors i suppose?... is there a way to fix this or do i have to have this on my fscomputer? Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about retaining PIREPs of the pilots who end up getting removed. It kind of stinks having to delete pilots who have flown more than 10 flights for you, because you lose all that flight data. I know that when things are changed on the aircraft side (ie aircraft get assigned to different scheduled routes) the flight still shows in the system, but just leaves out the aircraft type/tail number. Is it possible to make this happen with the pilots? The flights stay, but the pilots name does not show up? Thanks!

Hi, I need some help with the finances of my VA. We are a Military VA, however have decided to try and use the finances options for the Squadrons (Airlines) that do roles involving Heavy Lift or Transport, the combat oriented Sqns simply wont earn any revenue.. only spend it! I have setup the Ranks pay levels based on Annual Salarys at the given Rank within the service, plus an extra hourly rate for Flying Pay. My main question is about Schedules pricing for PAX and Cargo... I really dont know where to start? One of my Pilots did a 20 Minute flight (Cargo) and earned £250,000!!! so i dont tihnk we have the right pricing setup yet. I would be interested to know what …

Eine Cessna 208 ist in der Datenbank eingepflegt Diese wird nun gebucht und soll dann nicht mehr verfügbar sein. Hey everyone, I just uploaded phpVMS onto my server, granted all permissions, set up the database. When I want to enter the install/directory, it gives me this error: I am using paid hosting, uploaded the files via Dreamweaver and FileZille to check but still get the error. I was starting with a shared host at Hostinger for dev practice;testing. It seems like php 5.5 or php 5.6 ends up with MariaDB 10.1.38-- Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): Headers and client library minor version mismatch. I am trying to get the groups the pilots are in to show on the roster, so you know which pilot is in which group, I am having some trouble with it and am getting an error. Hey all, I am having trouble with the pages made through the admin panel. When first viewed, they show up fine as /index.php/pages/executivestaff , but the next time it will show as /index.php/pages/pages/executivestaff, next time /pages/pages/pages and so on. Of course the only time it shows is the first time, and the only way to reset it is by clicking on home. If you want to see what I'm talking about it's here: www.flyaircanadava.com .
