Hi everyone, I used phpvms a few years ago and so have previous knowledge of the system. I moved away from Flight Simulation for a while due to other commitments and have recently come back to it. I thought I would check out phovms again as I have thought about setting up a virtual airline again. However when I came to install it I encountered the following error and I am not sure on how to continue. I am on paid hosting and have never had a problem with my webhost in the past for such things. I followed the installation guide on here. I downloaded the full version in zip format, unzipped the package and uploaded it via sftp. I have run the install check and everything …

Hello and thank you for the work you have done (phpvms I am new to all this and i will like to ask if anyone can guideme with a link or something how to setup correctly fspassengers (servers side) to speak with the pirep system that the phpvms uses so i can actually use it in my va and have pilots sent their pireps . So we can track hours flown by every pilot And is it possible to view them live inthe acars map ? Thank you for your help and time

Hi Guys, Because I run an alliance VA, we have multiple airlines, multiple routes etc. We are currently standing at 32k routes and it's basically sending my php memory limit into spasms! So my question or challenge is; would it be possible to create or modify a function within phpvms so that rather than the standard form trying to pull all routes to then search on (tell me if I'm wrong on this, just my understanding), I can use a form to purely select from DEP ICAO, ARR ICAO, Aircraft Type, Distance and it then make a query to the database to return only the results needed? This issue is having a knock-on effect for me with modules also that require routes to be booked…

We are running Php 5.4 on server, did a clean install of phpvms_5.5.x-master - 7,441 Kb. We have the timezone issue corrected. Here is an issue we have 4 schedules/routes entered for testing. Hey Guys I have a weird question/issue. I am building a new VA website. I have installed the phpvms5.5x and I am using php 5.3. What is happening is that when i went to add a manual pirep to the system to test a function i was working on, at first I got the standard error that basically means you need to fix the php.ini to 128mb. I did that and that solved one issue. Now the issue, is that when I try to run a manual pirep, the system cpu load goes to 88%. The same happens when I try to edit a pirep. I am moving to a larger server to help with the issue, but I want to make sure that down the road I do not have any more issues. Does anyone know what script is causing…

Our VA has just hit the 90 day mark since we started with phpVMS and we primarily use smartCARS. Therefore some of our pilots are starting to get their status changed automatically as we wanted. They receive an email like this -- Hi John Doe, You have been marked as retired because you have been inactive for more than 90 days. To be un-retired, you must file a PIREP. Thanks, VA Management Team. My question is about them being told they have been marked as retired, however, when I look at their status in phpVMS Admin Center they are all showing up as On Leave status. Any reason the Admin sidebar would get stuck in the open position. Also at the same time I can no longer select the log, comment(s) or add comment to PIREPs. Hi simmers, We have been using phpVMS with Kacars for a couple of years now. The ISP we have been with is closing down, and we need to move to a new host. The current host is running on KonsoleH and the new one on CPanel Even though we did inquire beforehand if there would be issues with the migration, everybody assured us that the move over will be a walk in the park, needless to say, that didn't work that way We did as instructed, zipped the complete route of the old host and exported the DB's manually. We have PIREPS set for auto approve/Reject. Staff members can approve manual pireps. The problem is when a staff member's PIREP is 'rejected' how can we stop them from manually accepting it. Case example: Auto Accept rules 'approve filed w/ACARS' 'Reject w -1500fpm landing rate. We had a staff member w/smartCARS have a =2546 landing rate. The system rejected his Pirep. He then wen to admin and accepted his rejected filing. How can this be stopped?

Hi there. Today I tried to upload the first batch of routes for my VA (again after some updates). The only difference between how they were when I first uploaded them (when it worked) and now is the fact I added about 50 routes. So I checked the "delete all schedules" box as I uploaded them since I was replacing them all but this time when I clicked on Airline Schedules there were none to be seen. I then noticed all my airports from my airport database were gone as well and I couldn't upload those either. I had my COO test it as well and he couldnt get them either. Anyone have any clue how to fix this issue? Thanks! -NotAnAvgeek

Hello, for my new VA website, the last big problem for me is the transfer of the number of flights. When i update the number of flights in the pilot profile, this number turns to 1 when a pilot fly for the first time on the new site. It's resetting the number of flights in the database. I've try to do the same thing wich works with the transfer hours. So i've created a new column "transferflights" in the pilots table of the database. I am having a couple issues with airports with phpvms. I used my sql to upload my airports and it uploaded some except any American airports and omdb, egkk. Any ideas what could be causing this? Also if I add them manually they wont show up in my schedule search drop down. Any help would be great.

Hello, I want to add custom fields of pilots profile but they are not show. somebody knows how to set up a cronjob for resetting acars? i have in my phpvms folder a maintance.php but i dont use it,because i dont know what this file exactly do with my database. i see something inside "reset hours" and so on....that is not what im looking for. i only need to reset acars....

Hello, I am starting my virtual airline and I have recently been looking more into the automated emails that are sent out when pilots register. I was hoping to change the email that is sent out after pilots are accepted, so they can get the teamspeak information and link to the pilot handbook automatically, instead of me having to email everyone personally to make sure they have the login. Hello everyone, I'm trying to install some plugins on phpVMS and i don't know any ideia how i can start the process. In most case the instructions give me the same directions but after transfer all the paste and files to the right sctructure i can not see any kind of modification on my phpVMS. For instance ...
