Many of our members are experiencing the issue that when the start there flight with KACARS & FSUIPC there FSX Crashes after a while of flight. I am unable to find a solution to this issue.. Lorathon can you update me on this? Is it a KACARS issue or what? How can we solve this? All FSX Members are complaining the same since we upgraded to KACARS 1.0.1.1

Hello Guys, Ive made 2 routes for me and a friend to do for testing we have both bid for the individual route and we cant get the route on kACARS as it says "No Flight Found" and when we look in the "My Flight Bids" there is no route there. I'm Rui, 36 years old, I live in southern coast of Portugal, and I've created a new VA last year : FlyAlgarve VA, based in LPFR Faro airport. Our website : http://flyalgarveva.wifeo.com/ Now, I am looking for a flight logs system for my young VA... I found FSacars, kacars and VAFS. As we are a very young VA, we don not have money to spend in this kind of system, so I'm trying to introduce Kacars in our VA and our website but... to be honest, I do not understand anything about that, so I kindly ask some help. I don't know if our website is able to "receive" this kind of application... I don't know...…

Were were talking on our forum and were wondering how does kACARS determine the landing rate? At touchdown the rate becomes zero, so is the rate determined at the moment of contact? One second prior? Two seconds? Is it an average of the last few seconds? And take off speed. Is it the IAS at the moment of liftoff? Just curious how these parameters are determined.

Hello, We have been experiencing a problem with our new Custom kACARS system. When one of our pilots finish a flight they will still be on our live flight maps and such and just marked as arrived. The only that i know how to fix it is to go into phpmyadmin and delete the pilot that is marked as arrived in the database acars_data. The reason we can not use the script built into the admin center is because we usually have more than one flight in the air at a time, so we cant clear all the data. thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I used a custom Kacars, and it works great. but I wondered if this was possible to code in? as the fleet get's used, and aircraft land at an airport, is it possible to only show, in the aircraft list in Acars, aircraft that are at the airport that the current bid is starting from? I ask, as I have pilots who just pick random aircraft, and fly them, aircraft which were not actually located where they started the flight Not sure if it is possible, but if it could, it would be great

I just wanted to say publicly that I purchased the custom version of this and I like the functionality and ease of use. Jeff is always quick to reply if there are any issues. If you're thinking of purchasing this program, it will be money well spent. Thanks Jeff you do a great job.

Is there an error log someplace for kACARS? I have this all installed on my local computer. I am using http://localhost/phpvms as my BaseURL. Everything seems fine (I can connect, I see my Flight Bids, I can start recording and fly my flight), but when I click on File PIREP, it comes back with the normal "PIREP Filed OK" box, but it isn't actually updating the database with anything. It's as if the PIREP just vanishes into thin air. I do see the contents of the PIREP in the send.xml file, but as I say, nothing is going into the database. Where can I look to find out why? Cheers.

Hi, Our v.a. uses custom kACARS and one of our pilots is struggling with a fuel issue, in that 99% of his PIREPs show 0kg fuel usage, even though the log itself shows correct take-off and landing fuel quantities in lbs. Very occasionally he will have a PIREP with the correctly calculated value in kg, but I'm at a loss to figure out why most show 0kg. PIREPs from all other pilots are spot on with the fuel usage the majority of the time, although sometimes I will see a report with a negative value, but there is no indication of midair refuel etc. In all the above situations, I can manually work out the use by subtracting the landing fuel value from the take-off value, a…

Hello I'm the new IT administrator at fsxfleet, we have on previous occasion purchased Kacar is veldtig adapted to us, I we have this week phpvms installed on a new server. I came across a strange problem where announced free version of Kacar function but not pay the version of Kacar. there are some out there who have experienced the same. This is the error when we are using the payware version of kacars: Website Warning Encountered: Notify system Administrator of the Switch error. I am using the paid version of kAcars for my va. I am using this for over a year. I am having a rather odd issue. Whenever I am running kAcars on the same pc as I run FSX, I see a rather big drop in FPS. It drops from about 30fps to 20fps. I have tried to solve the issue by running the program on an extra pc. There I see about the same drop. 8-9 fps, as soon as I attach kAcars to FSX. As Rex is eating another 10fps, you guess that I am flying around 12 fps at fast. Is this a common problem, that kAcars eat so many fps? It is to me not doing any graphical stuff. Yes it is collecting data, but so much?

Recently, users have been contacting me about issues downloading the kacars program from my site. Not everyone has this issue though. The issue is caused that when they download from the site it converts the file to a .man file. I checked the backside and it has the item downloaded onto the server as a .msi....any idea why when they download the program it is switching the extension to a .man? Is there a way to fix this?

Hello, we have problem with login to kAcarsFree. Our ailirnes code start with number (8F). When pilot use correct pilotID (for example 8F232) kAcars can't log. When use incorrect pilotID prefix (for example F232) kAcars log. Can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks! Peter

My problem is that i get this error when i launch kACARS of a desktop shortcut. I deleted the kACARS folder in core/modules and re installed the module from the kacars website. Then I got Notify System Admin of the switch error Data not recived Switch = verify Please help. Chris

We at AlexandAIR Virtual, using the kACARS_Free program for few months. Very good program. I have one question: one pilot perform a flight, created by me with an A318, but the pilot did it with King Air 350. is it possible to stop this happening again??? in other words, is it possible the program to read the user's aircraft and if it does not match, doesn't let him do the flight??

Dear members, I just joined phpVMS with an airline called Aveiro Express. Its a VFR based VA, so that requires a better position Log by the Acars. We use kAcars but it has the handicap of not having a position, flaps or lights log (mainly position) wich limits the actions and realism of the VA. I also tried FSAcars but i keep having troubles with the connection to the Operations Website. With that been said, I request, if possible, some one with the programming skills to help me go foward with my VA thet grew in the last days and I felt the need to improve my services. Hello Yesterday I made the last flight using the K-acars, I have not moved anything of configuration and today simply "does not work", if we add to this the problem of the re-captcha system, something is Going through phpvms?
