Ok, Let's start this post off by stating this post is only covering the law in england and wales (UK). This post has come about after an interesting post meeting discussion with my company lawyer regarding virtual airlines copying real world counterparts. I showed the lawyer several UK virtual airlines that mirror real world counterparts (some part of VA central, some not) and whilst he had no idea that these things existed (he has little interest in FS) he was actually extremely suprised that they were there at all. Hi Folks, I was just wondering if anyone else received an email from another Virtual Airline offering a merger deal. I recently received and email offering a merger deal with benefits. It was stated that there was an extreme lack of activity at our airline....hmmm, over 4,000 flights and heading for 7,000 hours logged.... I emailed back wondering where he came up with this idea that we were failing...his reply was that since we used a free source pirep solution, we must be on our last legs and ripe for the picking. Hello community, I been thinking of build an IFS or in flight entertainment system for pilots, which can be used to view videos listen to music and chat. I wanted to see what would be the demand for it if any. So am starting this topic to see how many of you would actually use something like that or how many would like to have it. Hello i have a problem that has been bugging me for a long and while flying on VATSIM. I have been unable to use VOICE on my laptop in FSX. It starting to really bug me now, because its not realistic to use text only and makes it hard for the controller. Basically i can transmit audio but i cannot hear it, this also applies to other programs too not only FSX, lets say i want to skype with someone and watch a YouTube video, nope i cant do that. So to put simply i cannot multitask with audio between two different programs. This is really really starting to annoy me now as i have been deal with this for months and months, please help.

I get this Idear recently - How about a FSD Server for alle the Pilots and Airlines flying on VA Central? I think it would be fun to see other "real" People around while flying. If a Server is needed the EUV Root has plenty of ressources left:-)

As i am thinking of continueing the further development of APVacars i would like to know if there are airlines that use it and also what kind of features you would like in further version. Also i would like to let you know that until version 1.0.0.6 APVacars will remain opensource and that after this version it will be a closed exe with free usage.

Hi guys, Just thought I'd post about my open-source project of which I am the head developer and project leader on, ZPanel which is written in PHP and supported on Windows, Linux and UNIX is an opensource alternative to the likes of cPanel and various other control panels. The latest version 6.1.1 is fully tested on Ubuntu 10.04, CentOS 5.2 and FreeBSD 8.2 as well as all versions of Microsoft Windows. Maybe this may be of some help to some people out there that are thinking about purchasing a VPS for running their VA on but don't have that much experience with Linux or FreeBSD or simply don't have the money to rent a Windows VPS. I had my provider run a malware scan on my site, they found nothing. I joined a malware site that my host uses and they are saying much of phpvms code is malware.....Anyone else run into this?

I am curious to see what the web designers in the community think about frameworks for web design. I have worked with Bootstrap and the functionality is great, but do you also find many sites have a similar feel when they incorporate bootstrap fully? Can you guys make a quick PHP script with this in it, and paste the output here. <?php echo(date_default_timezone_get()); I wonder how many hosts have properly set it up. It seems like I'm running into issues where the time is not being in the right timezone with some data I'm getting back to vaCentral. So I'll have to manually fix this... but I'm wondering if any hosts have this set properly in the first place. I'll manually do it...and I guess GMT is the aviation standard?
