Hello everyone, So far, I've found phpVMS to be amazing. It's really well coded, except for one problem. The admin panel. Before I get started, let me say that the admin panel USED to work fine but no longer functions properly. First, the navigation menu (on the left side) is all messed up. Things are everywhere. I am using the admin section to configure my brand new airline and explore phpVMS. I will post problems as they occur. My first thing to do was to add new airports, so far these problems with Add Airport: a) The dialog that appears only has a "Edit Airport" button, there should be a possibility to have a Cancel button in case the user wants to desist from the change. This pattern appears in several dialogs (Edit or Edit). When you want to add an airport the dialog is always prefilled with the KFJK, IMHO it should just be blank. c) I entered the ICAO code (MPMG) pressed Look Up and it got updated with Lat/Long and airport name (Aeropuerto Marcos A. Gelabert). …

OK this has been getting on my nerves. Can someone please help me fix this problem. probably a simple question, AND has nothing to do with an issue! What do I need to add/change to control the zoom level on the live map? I checked the Google API site, and must have been looking in the wrong area since the code was somewhat different from what is in the program. Thanks!

I'm having a problem with the live map on my VA. Whenever somebody is flying, the information does not appear correctly in the table under the live map and in the tooltip bubble. I've tried using both KACARS and XACARS with the same results. This is what happens: I did a bit of digging around in the phpVMS source code and I found acarsmap.tpl which seemed relevant to the problem. Ok Why when I look at my Badge-Signature does it show just the Badge and no info. I know it did at one time but it show nothing but the background now. My Pilot name and info is blank. I am sure it has been covered before but any help would be nice. Lloyd

G'day, Since the update version of PHPVMS in FSacars the "flight from VA" button works but when I Stop Log and then except the flight I get a conversion error. Then when I look at the log I have a zero hour flight. The flight uploads to the VA ok but with zero hours. I have tried using FSacars to record the flight entering all the flight/plane data manually and everything works fine so there seems to be a problem still with getting flight from VA. I have tried reinstalling FSacars and I have used the latest .ini but still have the same problem.

Dear All, Is there any solution for selecting aircraft from schedule_results.tpl? For example EGKK-EDDM flight is added as B738 to schedules database, it would be nice to have drop-down, where pilots could select other aircraft types like A320. Then the (custom) weight calculations would be correct on schedule_briefing.tpl. It is just annoying to add all schedules 2 times. Best Regards,

Hello guys, I got a new template for my va and it has a image slider on the top (using javescript). It works fine in html coding but when i switch it to .tpl coding, the slider does not work. I have set all the folders into the right place but have no idea why it wont work. Any ideas will be much appreciated, James

I love this software but I am having a couple of issues I hope someone can assist me with. Primarily, when I try and add an aircraft, I get an error message. I have included the before/after screen shot, although it may be tough to read as I had to shrink it to meet forum posting limits. I went through phpmysql and trashed the name index. I left name_1(I think that's the name of it) alone. Still no luck. And finally, my live map doesn't exist. It is simply empty white space. Any ideas? Thanks. Hello everybody, I've noticed that a lot of VA's direct you to a management page, separate from the main site, when you log in. This page usually has a completely different template. I have the content all ready - I'm just not quite sure how to make a new page (just one page) with a separate template, but still be able to access the database in the very same way that I do on every other page (because I'm copying some code over). Ok guys. It is once again time for me to make my self look real stupid which I am pretty good at doing. All I am trying to do is insert a pilots ID and First and last name in a table. The Pilot ID should be a link to his or her own public profile while the first and last name are merely that, just a name (no link). I have tried every single code I can until I have been blue in the face for 4 or 5 days now and still no good. I simply can not figure out how to get that code or where it comes from. I have consulted many php readings and all of it is different then we use here it seems. So I figure after almost a week of trying it was time to ask. I hate to ask for help …

Hi, Our VA was online for some good years but past 2 weeks I started suffering a lot of problems and slow. System is running with PHP7.2 and MySQL 5.5, we have IPS integrated too . phpVMS Version 5.5.2 what issue am suffering now is sometimes database connection will not establish for while even I got several time max connection reach while checking my tables in phpmyadmin. am not sure really what is casing problem. We have cron for IPS every minute and will download data from IVAO every 3 minutes but I can see that from time to time it will skip the 3 min and don't update up to 20 minutes sometimes. while this happening everything seems …

Nabeel I am starting to get problems while pilots are filing pireps, to file a manual pirep it is taking over one minute from pressing the file button, this is also causing problems when pilots are using kACARS with the site delay. If there any way of moving the back end functions to a cron as the current performance can not continue. I have been speaking with Jeff and we have tried various things but its looking like its the back end functions that are causing the delays and problems as described above i tried a manual pirep which took over a minute to file. Hey All, Very New to PHP VMS, I know HTML and CSS but not PHP so this is a new learning experience for me! Questions 1. for the past 2-3 days i have this problem. In the Acarsmap even there are pilots flying the map does not works. I have cleared the Acars table, the cache, optimize the tables. After all that the planes appear for 1-2 minutes and then nothing. In the SQL table there are the data of the pilots that flying and the folder cache has 777 permissions. Long time no talk all. Hope everyone is well! I've been fighting the navdata point display on the maps and have finally gotten it to point where I am happy, however I discovered an issue I can't quite figure out. When you run the parseRoute to generate the waypoints on the live map; it goes through airways and finds the entry/exit and everything in between. This works fine when the entry to exit is position (going forward) but when it's backwards it doesn't pull anything. I have this particular airway where I'm entering at sequence 36 - KULIS and exiting at sequence 20 - SIDAK. It will not pull the values for sequence 35 to 21. …
