I am currently having a time zone issue with smartCARS 2.0. It reports the wrong time and date to phpVMS, and it leads to the wrong pilot's location. I am just curious that does anyone else have this issue as well? Also, is there any other options that I can choose to replace the smartCARS?

Hi All When I file a PIREP for the VA we started, we get a PIREP filing error (but the system does still file the PIREP). We are using smartCars with phpvms but when the Pilot completes his flight and submits his Pirep to our VA the fuel burn figures are way out . I contacted the company that produces the software and they inform me that it uses lbs,feet,knots and the VA controls the rest of the figues. In the pilot log file they are showing aircraft weight in kg but everything else is showing in ibs,ft,kts ,and on completion of flight says I landed in xxxx ft with xxxxx kg in fuel. I ahve looked on other VA that use smartCars and there pireeps are showing no kg,etc at all in ther log files. This tends to make me think it is a setting in phpVMS . Hope someone can help me with this

Hi all, I use smartCARS for our flight tracking, but have noticed that the pirep route map does not show the actual flight taken by the pilot. I have looked into the database tables and noticed that it is not writing to the "rawdata" column. I have seen it working on other virtual airline sites that use SmartCARS, that this should be writing to that entry, but it is not. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have been trying to install smf forums and having some issues I fill out my form like this mysql localhost username password smf smf_ i get an error about the database and i may need to use admin to install the database. Then when i do that it tells that the install.php will install it for me. What am i doing wrong that it wont create? Thanks for any help

Quick question .. When using the SMTP settings in the local config, should I be changing the SMTP settings in the PHP.ini file as well or is VMS over-riding the php with its own settings?

Hey there, I'm trying to configure the SMTP email settings & it doesn't seem to be working. I'm using SMTP as PHP mail never worked for me & was very slow, like 5hours to receive the email. This is the server I use with all my other sites/forums & it works. Just did a new install of the Classic. Now when logging in this message shows up "You must be logged in to access this feature!". The admin apnnel does not show up or the Pilot Center. You can see the pilots online and it shows me as being online, but no access. Any suggestions?? Increased php memory to 512Mb

Hello, Today I have created my test template on an old domain with phpvms 5.5. The template worked but when i installed it on a new phpvms installation on my other domain the template wont work. The php version on bot domains are at 5.5 and also simpilot 5.5 versions are installed on both domains. Also the crystal template work like it should. Any ideas what could be wrong. Hello Is it possible to install two separate phpvms entities in one mysql database? Currently all the phpvms tables have phpvms_ as a prefix, so I suppose I could change it, right? And then I could have both in the same database, but as two separate sets of tables? thanks Mischka

What is the best way to get the acars map to show up on the front page? I tried copy and pasting the acarsmap coding to the frontpage_main, but the map ended up far off to the right, not even on the template. I am pretty new at this stuff, so if there is a code for it to link to the acarsmap, could somebody proved that please, or let me know how to move the map onto the frontpage template, that will work also, thank you.

I have completed 7 flights for 19 hours and 14 minutes, counting each of my flights that are showing in my pilots profile. However, the system is only showing 7 flights for 2 hours and 54 minutes. Does anybody know what is going on with this?

I am getting this Error when Pireps are approved : Fatal error: Class 'LogData' not found in /home/vforg/public_html/admin/modules/PIREPAdmin/PIREPAdmin.php on line 319 Here is line 319: LogData::addLog(Auth::$userinfo->pilotid, 'Approved PIREP #'.$pirepid); This just started the other day, all data seems to saved okay, we are not missing flights or hours in our "logbooks". Can anybody tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? Yes I am a newb when it comes to this stuff.

Hello to everyone! One of our airline pilots wanted to change he´s password and after change, phpVMS system told him to wait for admin approval - so he didnt access the webpage anymore, neither with old or new password. So I went to the admin page and found out new "pending pilot". What I did? I went to the active pilots page, changed he´s password manually and then rejected this so called "pending pilot" (I thought that it is some kind a bug). It also deleted the active user and also all pireps and other data. Hi Ya'll! (Excuse the heavy Texan accent ) Me and my staff have been working hard to get EXR up and running needless to say I was an idiot a couple months ago ! Chase helped me port over my template and it is working like a charm! However we have encountered a few problems... In the admin panel it does not respond when I hit accept on pilot registrations (Staff only applications NOT being accepted) it seems as if the java is having some sort of error.
