Hiya, Before I carry let me apologise, I really do not know how to do any coding stuff etc for my VA. I am quite happy doing the admin side of things like adding flightplans, aircraft and all the other stuff that needs doing but actually coding stuff into the website is not my cup of tea! So, I will probably be asking lots of questions in this thread until I am happy with my site, apologies again! I do search for things to try and find answers but sometimes the answers are not just available to what you actually require! so, here goes! Could someone please tell me how to add a signature to my forum posts? Obviouslyt I want the signature to relfect my VA. What code…

Nabeel, got an error on my system ... I go into my profile I click on Pilot Center, then click on view available flights. Then put it to search by airport, pick an airport and click on find flights ... then the page goes blank, does not appear any more ... How can I solve? Thanks!

Good night In my virtual airline, the pilots only are accepted after passed an examination. The examination module is in other web site. Pilots must register in this site, take the exam and if they do well, a staff member will add to phpvms site manually. I can do to make the option "Register" are only visible to staff memebers? As the admin center option. In the core_navigation.tpl Best regards

I wonder if anybody in here would help me, please, solve the following... I'm coding my web site template to have two menus, in accordance to the requested ".tpl" file. Actually, in case the user is requesting the frontpage_main.tpl, it should use one block of html tags, and in case it is any other .tpl file, it should be another block of html tags. So my question is: is there any phpVMS native class + method I can put in the if() statement to check which .tpl file the user is requesting? Id it does not, how could I solve it by simply using php?

I have setup a 2nd airline at this time for testing. What I would like to know is there a way to get reports for both airlines (2 Reports)? I can only get 1 report for both. Thanks David

The first time I did the installation I forgot to set permissions I got the meue up but secon box down reported an error. So I uninstalled teh whole lot and reloaded to my server. I then took a little more time and rand again but this time I get the following Fatal error: Class 'DB' not found in D:vhostssimaviators.co.ukhttpdocsphpvmscorecommonSiteData.class.php on line 25 Any ideas? Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about retaining PIREPs of the pilots who end up getting removed. It kind of stinks having to delete pilots who have flown more than 10 flights for you, because you lose all that flight data. I know that when things are changed on the aircraft side (ie aircraft get assigned to different scheduled routes) the flight still shows in the system, but just leaves out the aircraft type/tail number. Is it possible to make this happen with the pilots? The flights stay, but the pilots name does not show up? Thanks!

I did a clean wipe on my website and uploaded the 2.0.854 in my airline and i add to bid and it says no routes passed. Im using the default skin and everything is default. Why is that a problem.

Hi i created a skin about 3 years ago for my va this has since folded after some consideration we are building a new va i dont have any of the old files left but i cant for the life of me remember exactly which line of code that has to be removed to stop pages being added to the navbar. Also i cant remember the line of code to call a specific page i.e to use on the front page instead of module calling. hope some one can post these lines of code for me as i have spent ages trawling through the search and forums here to no availe to find dead links or no advise if you cvould help it would be appreciaited Many thanks Craig

Is it possible to filter flights through each airline inside of the pilot center flight search i have 5 airlines inside of phpvms and was wondering if there is a way to filter the flights, meaning separate passenger flights from cargo flights and so on. After uploading the files through FileZilla onto my website to install phpVMS Classic downloaded from GitHub, and after running through the installer, I check out the forums to add a skin for the website but a few minutes after, FileZilla looses connection from the host, I try re-connecting with no luck. Nabeel, I have on the pilots page a last flight, if we have a new joiner with no flight this defaults to 01.Jan.1970 Example, http://www.easyjetva.com/index.php/pilots, if there any way to mod this out to display N/A or none as apposed to the date if no flight has been flown yet?

Hi all and thanks in advance. I'm not a total nOOB but still needing direction. SETUP: Installed VSM on sub domain and all was working perfectly other than issues about PIREPs, but that's another post to come. Installed VSM on production site and all installed fine. No errors, no problems. Did the check (db/install/ect.) In this install I also created a new MySQL DB and that checked out fine. I Can logon without issue too. I can see all pages fine also. PROBLEM: When I click on the admin link it takes me to domain.com and not to www.domain.com. I've tried to hard code it and it still does the same. Any ideas? This didn't happen in the subdomain testing area eithe…

Hello, I'm not sure where to go from here, I've been using 000webhost and I have been using a tutorial on YouTube (phpVMS Tutorials Episode 2 - Installation) They said it should come up with an install link which went to phpVMS Database setup, however mine says this Fatal error: Class 'DB' not found in /home/a4611461/public_html/core/common/SettingsData.class.php on line 28 Any Ideas on how to fix this? having a wierd problem when using xacars all the planes on the acars map show the oposite direction at this moment i am flying a heading off 220 and the map is showing 040 are there other havong this problem. gr joeri

I really what causses the issue, described in the title. Maybe I am doing something wrong. This happens: A pilot signs up. I get an email and login to the admin part of PHPVMS. There I accept the pilot. Then the pilot says that he has been accepted, but cannot see any schedules when he is logged in. My workaround is: add the pilot to a different airline and/or hub, save that and place it back. Can somebody hint me to the cause of the issue, and how to solve it? Greetings, RobB

Hi, When trying to post a PIREP the system justs redirects me to the login page and doesn't send the PIREP through to the Admin panel. The same happens when I try to search for flights eg. Departue Airport hit find flights and i'm at the login page. Any Advice?

Hello Everyone, I test the FSFK pirep and it works, but I have a couple of questions and would be very grateful if someone could help me: 1. I attach how looks the pirep from FSFK, I want to know how I edit the fields, I mean, ¿Wich is the file to translate the fields name?, becouse I searched in all the folder without success and where is the skin to edit the pirep design. 2. In the pirep don´t show the images from FSFK report like maps etc, just show the name but not the images like the attached file. I really apreciate if someone have ideas to how fix this.!
