So, we had a friend make a skin and layout for us, then he decided he didn't want anything to do with us. We then updated the phpVMS and it messed it up horribly. Hey, I had this idea some months ago: A virtual Stock market for pilots of your VA. The pilots can spend their money and all pilots are in a competition, who is the best trader (of the month, of the year...). You can add virtual stocks and they are randomly generated or you are able to use an API like Yahoo Finance to get real values. As an option you can add your own VA into the stock market and it depends on the flights and revenue if the share rises or fall. We can code this script together, but my knowledge in php is not the best. I can make the conent and the layout or design.

We have a lot of modules working with phpVMS that we would need to have developed from scratch for phpVMS v7 before we could make the change to avoid losing features for our pilots as we are a very established VA already. One of the major hurdles when setting up a virtual airline from scratch is the amount of data that has to be input to get a working airline. How many hours do you need to spend input airport data , aircraft data , flight data etc. If you say you had just 4 airports that you start off with as 'HUB' airports i.e. A B C D then the number of flights you would at least expect to create are. A-B , A-C , A-D , B-C, B-D and then C-D that's already 6 flights needed. Hi all, I know Simpilot made a points module but as he is no longer involved with PHPVMS I was wondering if anyone would be up for making a new points module. If anyone is familiar with VAMSYS they have a points system that I quite like which I see when I fly for VRYR. Basically it pulls the info from smartCARS. You start with 100 points and then points are added as follows; Preflight Prep between 15 and 30 minutes =+30 points Engine 2 started before engine 1 = +10 points Flight Duration Points Less than 1 hour 0 Points Between 1 and 2 hours +10 Points Between 2 and 3 hours …
