Hi! I want to add a multi-language support to my phpvms. How I do it? This is my test site (http://www.fantaepicgamers.altervista.org/en) and I want to add a Welcome Page, before enter the site, where the users can choose the language. It's possible? Can you help me? G'day All, One area that my VA lacks realism is the fact that we cannot do multi leg flights like our real world counterpart. for example, Qantas 9 QFA9 has a stop over in Singapore WSSS, from Sydney YSSY, before continuing on to Heathrow EGLL, under the same callsign of Qantas 9 QFA9, is it possible to change a setting, or some coding to allow schedules to be added that have the same callsign ? Hello! I am trying to develop a custom feature that would allow you to fly multiple legs to a flight with a specified turnaround time. for example flying from detroit to chicago, having a 30 minute turnaround, then on to Minneapolis, all on the same flight route. is this even possible?

Hello Nabeel, Thanks for the response on integrating FSPax's logs into FSACARS... Here's an additional question regarding the A/C type pulldown after the "Flight from VA" has been selected. Scenario. My VA has multiple Saabs and Jetstreams... each with its own registration number. So, imagine for a minute, when you pull this list down... all you see is - for example - 20 "JS41" entries in the list. Somewhere in that list - I have to imagine - is a concatenated registration number which is INVISIBLE in the pulldown list. Hi, I am new to phpvms and trying to do some flights with my "one man show" airline. All I would like to know if it is possible to assign multiple aircraft for a route, or at least type of aircraft instead of registrations. Let's say I have 5 A321 and 3 B738, which makes 8 registrations = 8 times inserting a route. Instead if it is possible to make it by type I would only need to enter the same route 2 times. I have tried to search the forum for a solution but no luck at all Thanks Arslan

Our pilots can fly ANY aircraft in our inventory, regardless of pilot rank - but we want to restrict aircraft to specific routes. We have aircraft assigned to specific categories, and assign one or more categories to a specific flight number. This allows our pilots to fly a range of aircraft available for a given route. Ideally, having the aircraft names and/or aircraft category show in the schedule and having a drop down box listing only those aircraft available for a specific flight on the 'File a Flight Report' page is what we are after. Ok here goes. Now I feel like a noob starting all over again. I understand that I have a choice in the admin section between Passengers, Charter, and cargo flights. I want one division strictly for Passengers and Charters. I want to create a new airline in my install that is ONLY for cargo service. All I have done so far is create a new airline in my install. So my question is, Do i/we (pilots) need to register again on my site if we/they choose to fly for the cargo service? And if so, do we need to use seperate email addys? I am sure on everything else such as schedules and fleet goes. The couple above were my only concerns. Thanks Ray

Hi! I would like someone to solve me my problem. I have 2 airlines inside group, one cargo, one passenger, how can i show those two on statistics? And does all pilots which are flying first or second, must be on either of VA, for gaining hours, or they got hours regarding they VA assigment on roster? Hi folks, just another question, how to use multiple airlines? I planned to create some different tours, like a European Tour or a World Tour, and I want to limit the flights just for these airlines. So all European-Tour-Flights will be just shown to pilots who are flying for the European-Tour-Airline. The "normal" Airline is called "North Air", so regular all pilots flying for this one, but some pilots will be invented for touring-flights. Hopefully you´ll understand what I´m requesting? Have been exploring adding search by Carrier option to the search form but struggling a bit to get it to work. Any got any suggestions for the code to add to the search form in order to search by airline code? i.e. pull out all flights for a specific airline (we have 14).

Hi All, I have posted about this a long time ago so i know there is a way to solve it, however i have no longer got access to the email that the solution was sent too. My dilemma was and is; i have some schedules that are 3 legs in total, however share the same callsign, e.g VX260 - SFO - LAS - JFK. Under the current php system, i have to put an alpha letter after the callsign for the second leg i.e VX260A (this is the case when uploading in .csv format and manually adding schedules through the main panel), which granted isn't the biggest problem in the world, however, it's just not realistic for VX ops. Hi, I added an in page CSS to style the links on my fleet page, but when I do that it screws up the other links in the page. Also, in my pilot center, if I style a second side menu, it screws up the formatting of the top navbar. I've googled it and tryed everything I can think of

Hi, I have a problem where there is identical flights appearing on the list of ACARS flights on the ACARS page, but only one of each flight in the database. I tried searching the forums for a solution but I have yet to find one. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks!

I have two iterations of phpVMS on a single server. Each serves a different VA, the URLs for which are pointed to different directories. Each has a separate database. The question I have involves the cookies used by phpVMS. I noticed the following commented out line in app.config.php //Config::Set('SESSION_COOKIE_NAME', 'VMS_AUTH_COOKIE'); I'm assuming that is a default. My question is if both iterations of phpVMS are setting similarly named cookies, can that cause a problem for someone who logs into both VAs? If so, what would be the suggested naming convention to use? (No, I don't spend all my time dreaming up crazy questions.)

This comes under kACARS too, but not entirely. I have a few annoying issues with the PIREPs. First, I was not receiving PIREP revenues for a while, and it was due to the fact that I changed the PIREP flight number to callsign, and I was surprised to see that you cannot pull the flight by the route id instead of the flight number. This creates issues for those with multiple flights with the same flight number, so it means I'll now need to edit the tables to make that work. Still, it's annoying. I think a routeid column for the PIREP table should be included in the next release. Secondly, when a PIREP is submitted, it is sometimes submitted multiple times, giving duplicat…

Hello, I'm currently experiencing some problems with the 'Live Flight Information' page. When visiting the page, there are two, three and sometimes four of the same flight being displayed on the page. The weird thing is, I have reset the aCARS Table through phpVMS Admin panel, and have manully emptied the table through phpMyAdmin. When all the currently connected aCARS reconnect to the website, it is doing exactly the same thing again. When I go and browse the acars data table through phpMyAdmin, there is only one of each flight, as it should be. Can we have multiple vacentral api keys in local.config.php? Each airline receives a different VACENTRAL_API_KEY Can I keep defining new VACENTRAL_API_KEY or will it just take the last one in local.config.php? I have 4 airlines in my phpvms and I want to register all of them with vacentral.net.

Something odd has happened. I went to the schedules export to see what it would do but i decided not to export, none of the dialogs allow the user to cancel an operation (change his mind), something that definitely needs some attention in design. Anyway, the problem is, now that I go to the Airports and Schedules pages, they both show no airports and no schedules, EMPTY! This is just horrible, a disaster, well so I thought because it took me hours. I logged out and in again but the problem persists, the grid simply doesn't display any airports or schedules but shows the awards, pilots, fleet, rank etc. The pilot shows a list of two hubs so I though, either there is no r…

(Version 2.1.934) This problem has now been ongoing for almost 2 years. Yes, two years I've been without an ACARS Map.
