Hi there. I have phpVMS for my VA. I am releasing it to my pilots soon. But i want to be able to provide a current day tutorial on how to log flights, what everything means, etc. Are there any videos like this around? If so please link them below. Thanks

Hi, yesterday I've updated to PHP5.6, since this update we have problems with our live map. Sometimes it's working, sometimes not (without changing something). It seems to be a javascript issue, the error is: I am usign phpvms classic, but also tried another acarsmap.js file (5.5), but this is also not working. Google API has been updated. When switching back to 5.4 the map is back again

Hello, I have been trying to install a free phpvms install, my website is UIVAG.com and i wish to install the phpvms in to a sub directory /Pilotcenter. However After I upload the files 5.5.X to the folder and then go to UIVAG.com/Pilotcenter/install/install.php it allows me to enter the infromation in to the text boxes. however I can not check the database connection. This is not the first time i have install PHPvms, However this is the first time I have installed in on paid hosting (TFDi Designs) my php ver is set to 5.5 and i have tried with 5.6. many thanks in advance for the help Regards Mike

Hello All, Running PHP7.1 with MySQL 5.7.24. When I run the installer it fails creating several tables. Good Day, We use phpVMS Version simpilot 5.5.2 It seems our CAVacars has stopped communicating with our website. The "Live Flight Board" and "Live Flights" on our homepage are empty and there are no "Top 10 Landings" being displayed. PIREPs submissions have stopped coming into the Admin Panel as well. All, I was hoping someone can help me out with Xacars for X-Plane users on 5.5.2 served on HTTPS sites. The software is pretty old and doesn't like HTTPS websites and pops an error on my site when trying to connect. However I have a couple users on Mac's that have this as their only option, so this is becoming a vital fix. Doing some research I believe there is a way to redirect HTTPS request for the xacars scripts to regular port 80 using .htaccess script, but I have been thus far unsuccessful. So the question is has anyone had any success with Xacars for XP11 clients on your HTTPS only website? And if so, would you mind sharing the installation steps that deviate…

Hi, actually in my phpvms v2.1.936 I have this code: schedule_briefing.tpl <!-- Flight time Row --> <tr> <td colspan="2"><?php echo $schedule->arrtime - $schedule->deptime ?></td> </tr> But this code not show minutes, only hours, so if I have arr time = 12:59 and dep time = 09:00 the result is 3hours, not 3:59 hours. How can I fix this? Thanks!

I would like to add an option to allow you to search for a flight that has for example between 200 miles and 300 miles something similar to: search flight where 'distance' between "$distance1" and "$distance2" I have scanned these files: schedule_searchform.tpl core/modules/Schedules/schedules.php but I can not find out what code I need to do this.

Hello, I followed a lot of the forum's guides on install and error resolution for the Pirep Auto Approve/Reject. I cannot find the log to get the status of what the module is doing. I have it enabled as well as a 400 or -400 fpm approval rating (we would like -399 or greater fpm to reject.) Also, I do not know what the Admin Code is to get the rejections to go forward. phpvms_pireps.zip

Hi guys, i have a problem. Im making my own type of flight bidding for cargo. So in my Schedule.php module, i created a new function and name it addbid_opscargo. So in my opscargo page, when i press Add Bid, it will have to add to my created database rather than then default one, phpvms_bids. But the problem now is, when i press Add bid, it will use the default one and will not run or use my addbid_opscargo function. Everytime i press Add bid, it will add it to phpvms_bids instead. I'm not sure if its jquery issue cause i did remember adding jquery in my Layout.php when i have one in core_htmlhead.php. It worked somehow but always bring me to a white page which shows…

Gday all, Have a simple question hopefully nobody finds stupid. We're using Smartcars to track and submit flights but getting a "PIREP does not exist" error after each flight. When I look into the database there is phpvms_acarsdata and phpvms_pireps, both of which (worryingly) are not showing some flights that were done. Can I check how are flights stored in phpvms please and is there anything to take note of when using with Smartcars? Thanks.

Does anyone know how to write code that will hide the table if no flights exist? Show when they do? It bothers me that I have a table header showing of my column titles below ACARS map and no flights. I don't know JS well enough to build if/else on this (I can't do it in PHP) nor do I quite understand how the ACARS traffic is flowing. These are from Nabeel's OSM migration files. G'day all, I have a small question about pilot ranks in phpvms 5.5.2.72. Specifically, is it possible to designate special "management" ranks to staff member accounts without having to be tied to a flight hours count?
