Hello, I know Simpilot isn't around much, but I have a question regarding creating a bank of questions for the Exam Center module. I know how to create questions, know how to create questions, and know how to create exams, but is there a way that I can create say like 50 questions in a bank for a certain exam, and have the exam randomly pull 10 from that bank to present to the pilot? Thanks!

i have a virtual airline and i try to install the EXAMCENTER moudle. and i have a problem after i put the folders in the root phpvms and open table in PHPMYADMIN . i do "wwww.virtualairline.com/index.php/Exams_admin" and this what he say for me Notice: The template file "/home/*******/public_html//core/templates/exams/frontpage_main.tpl"doesn't exist in/home/*******/public_html/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248 please help me i don't now what to do . **sory about me bad english**

Hi, Within the past few days we have received about 35 spam applications including 6 in the past hour. I don't think that they are being manually entered because i keep blocking the IP's and we really haven't made any enemy's i really have tried everything i know to stop them, tried google and everything, but nothing seems to be working... so i was wondering if anybody has any solutions, like anti spam scripts or anything.

Hello, I am creating my own admin template as shown on the shot below, I am trying to show the menu on all pages, that works if i put the line in the layout. I am using the freeware crewcenter as a guide on hot to set things up so the following lines are present in the layout to show the menu everywhere. Only problem is that the menu based in the app_top.php is also visible in the login page. Does anyone lnow how to exclude this from the login and registration pages?

Hi, I have got a few pages were the page content (i.e. a table) brakes through the 900px wrapper constrained with. I have attempted to solve this problem by changing the size of the content, but with no look. One of the pages which does this is:http://www.airukvirtual.co.cc/index.php/faq you can see that on the right side under the banner the 900px explodes out to something like 912px. This page i do not use any longer because i have a ticket system and a knowledgeable to replace it but i also have the same problem my pilot center. Does anyone know how to fix this? Hi, i have problems to edit expenses on admin panel after update to 930 following message appear: Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Finance::editexpense1' was given in /home/xxxxxx/transpolar.cl/core/classes/MainController.class.php on line 218 I created a new expense and try to edit with same resoult. Hi all, I have been looking at the finances section of phpvms and wanted to know if there is anyway to make a per flight revenue entry like the per flight expenses entry system. The reason I want to do this is that my VA wants to try to reflect the possibility of passengers purchasing items during flight like refreshments as they do on low cost airlines. So either have it that an admin can enter an amount which then gets added to the overall va finances. Would this be possible, if not I will scrap the idea. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

I noticed that there are just expenses to add either per month, per flight, and so on under the reports and expenses menu. Just wondering if there is a way to have income per flight too, i am working on duty-free income per se and also a on-board store ( soft drinks, aircraft models, snacks, ect...) for the airline. I do think it would be a nice feature to have.....

Good eve, question, last month I added a lots of expenses (purchase etc.), but it seems that all expenses did not recorded to the last summary. Could you please help me and tell me, why it´s not charged? I now tried to edit one of my monthly expenses, but I received a ERROR when EDIT EXPENSE was pressed. Really need your help.

G'day all, I have for Reach set up a number of expenses both fixed and recurring for every flight based upon calculations for each flight and some research. Whilst these work fine during the month, at the end of the month and into the new one all the accumulated expenses are lost and the report just reads as zero. Could this perhaps be an issue with how the expenses are stored? It used to work some time ago but I cannot remember when it stopped working nor what changed to cause it.

Hi, You can add expenses on a pirep. For catering or so. I tried this out, and found out, that it did not function. In the send pirep, I see the expenses, but under Reports and Expenses it is pretty empty. If I click on expenses it says: No expenses have been added So is there a switch to set? RobB

Hello Again, let me put it that way Since 2008 we had two AC, each 50000 per month - that means 100000 totally Now (in May) we bought a third one and added another 50000 per month - that means 150000 totally The problem is that effects all previous months too. Two questions: First, the fuel is being calculated at $5.1 per kg on all our pireps. Is this because of the ongoing issues? Seems like it should be $1.5 for a more accurate price (at 3 kg per gallon that would be $4.50/gal). Either that or it's reporting $5.1 per gallon instead of kg. Second, when you edit the pirep there is a block for expenses (Additional expenses for this flight (catering, cleaning, etc). Where do I enter this data for each aircraft type so it is automatically calculated? Thanks!

Is there away to export the pilots list into CSV format? Rather then going through the db as it makes it very difficult. Something like the way exporting the schedules can be done. I use currently phpvms 5.5.2

Hi, i've just exported the routes from my VA to verify the usage and it came out quite strange. I'll attach it here directly. Just some things : 1. some distances instead of being 800nm are 859893, it seems he didn't export the . 2. it didn't export all the flight times, but i'm sure that all my schedules have departure, arrival and lengh 3. i still have problems with the calculate distance feature (installed 816 and tried again, but happened also with 815), it does not calculate. When i launch /mantainance/resetdistances it sais no schedule to update. 4. the prices, some of them have been moved to notes (during the export)

Hi guys, I was trying to export schedules today and realized the output is completely messed up. This is on a relatively new phpvms install of phpvms (the php7.2 simpilot version) with no funny stuff or mods done to the backend. Can someone advise what's going on here and how to fix it please? Hi, I am attempting to pass data in perhaps some kind of a variable to another page where I can actually submit a bid, however I've never extended any modules, and I was wondering if perhaps someone could point me in the right direction, and perhaps explain how passing variables and/or generating templates work? Basically, what I'm setting out to do, is for pilots to complete a form, after they've pressed "Book" in search results. Instead, the current Javascript which adds the bid to the user's record would be moved onto the form. Hi folks, my web host doesn't allow external databases. But if I knew what connections I need I could maybe get some exceptions(ip addresses or similar) Reason for asking: some features like Live fuel, doesn't work with our server, and also if we are going to use VAcentral we need a external access. Pulling airport data when adding new airports actually works. Sorry for my messy post, looking forward for an answer

Hi all, I'm currently going through a stage of trying to move our Mass Emails over from the local hosting to a dedicated system designed for mass email marketing as my VA has gone over 100 active pilots and our hosting keeps shutting our email system down whenever we mass email due to 'spam protection' I've spent hours on the forums and I've updated the Local config php as well as other associated files to enter the SMTP/Auth/User data, tries TLS, SSL etc and have had no luck.
