Hi guys, I've been trying to get this to work now for a while, so I thought that someone here may be able to help me. I'm trying to make the URL rewrite work so that I can remove index.php from phpVMS. I've already been trying myself so the URL Rewrite function in phpVMS is already set to true, I really would like to be able to remove the index.php so if anyone has done this before and can help me it would be much appreciated. Hi, I'm currenty having an issue when filing a pirep with smartCARS, when sending the report, I'm getting the following messaage "PIREP FILING ERROR, the virtual airline's web server didn't confirm the PIREP filing properly with smartCARS. This doesn't mean always mean that the PIREP wasn't filed. Please verify that PIREP was filed on the airline's website. I've done all the checks according to TFDI and smartCARS seems to be correctly installed, so the issue should be something else on my config. Hi, Has anyone ever produced something that sends an email to the pilot when their pirep has been accepted. I have looked in the forums and have found similar like email pireps data but have been unable to find what I am after. Maybe even an email to say Pirep accepted or if rejected and the reason ?? Looking forward to hearing from someone

I've been running phpvms for about 2 years now for Buffalo Airways Virtual, last week our account was suspended as we were using over 25% of the RAM on the whole server! The web host said that there may be too many querys going to the database, the database for phpvms is over 170mb! What would I have to do to disable some querys? Would compressing and re-indexing the database make us use less of the server? If yes, do you know how I can do this? This is the first time we have used over our 5% allocated RAM space in 2 years. Before the update i had a pilot flying and it was showing that he was climbing and he was at FL300 and then i did the update the newest beta update and now he landed and its still showing he is at FL300 and also any other pilot trying to fly now it doesnt show on the website. Is there anything that i should do to get the tracking to work or what. Please help

I just want to create a separate schedule module, that lists my whole schedule, from the database. I just want to create a table from the database with specific columns. I am having a heck of a time getting this to work. On my original site before phpvms, it was just a table with the data filled in from the sql database. It was simple but I would like to have it as an additional item in addition to the schedule bid search. It would be like posting the full schedule .csv file, but in a table on the site.

I could swear I've seen this somewhere, but can't find it now. And was unable to find ANY reference using Search. Can the flight time separator be changed from ' . ' to ' : '? And where is this setting? My present 2.x site uses the period ( . ) and I'd like to change to the colon ( : ) on my 5.5.2 site. With a 5.5.2 site, does it matter which separator is used? Is there an advantage to using one over the other? TIA!

Hi all, I'm currently in the process of setting up a Virtual 'Group' which will operate over multiple airlines throughout several regions. At the moment, I'm doing all the schedules by hand from timetables available online however, One of the potential issues I'm facing is that currently, All the 'routes' are assigned to one aircraft registration - Currently, This is fine however, what I'd ultimately like to end up with is a situation where pilots can select from a menu the registration they're flying for that flight on that day. Hello I was just wondering the other day if there are any VA's that don't require their pilots to use an ACARS system? Most VA's require their pilots to submit some 'proof' that they did the flight by using ACARS and submitting the log, or submitting a tracker log from vatsim and the like. But honestly, why would a pilot lie/cheat about doing a flight? Reason I'm asking is that even though I wrote a pretty fool-proof guide on how to configure kACARS and xACARS for use with my VA, some pilots still struggle with it or the software causes other problems, so I'm considering to make this non-mandatory. Hi, Last week i've build up my phpvms website and all appears to go ok. I tried flying with xacars and also with fspassengers. Both are logging the flight and i can export succesfully and I receive emails like: A PIREP has been submitted by LUX0001 (pilot name) LUX1020: ELLX to EDDT Aircraft: 2 Flight Time: 0.52 Filed using: xacars Comment: A PIREP has been submitted by LUX0001 (pilot name) LUX1024: ELLX to EDDW Aircraft: 2 Flight Time: 00.59 Filed using: fspax Comment: FSPassengers Flight. Hello In my statistics on main page I have tried to add a "totat passengers carried" field. To my surprise the number shown was unbelieveable. According to it my airline has carried around 104000 passengers with only 27 flights. Which makes around 3800 persons per flight. I took the data from .../core/common/StatsData.class.php (field is TotalPaxCarried). Am I looking at wrong place for that data? I also would like to know if there's a way to add Total Cargo Carried because my airline has a cargo section too. Cheers, Arslan

Hi again, As written in the fsacars notice, the error message might show up (which did in my case) but PIREP is sent to system... The only issue with that is : Fsacars thinks the flight log is still not sent and so, at next flight it will send again and again the previous flight... Is this because fsacars does not receive a "OK" from the website ? I am willing to help you on that subject to identify the bug... Thanks for the help ! ;D

Hi I have been entering schedules for my new VA. My airline is an air taxi company so i need the schedules to appear to be slightly random. i am using the beta version because the four week schedule is ideal for what i need. However after adding a number of schedules on odd days each week i noticed that actually they are being saved sunday to saturday. when i try to edit them by selecting none in sunday to saturday when i save it re populates mon to sat anyone have any idea?

Hi all, Was trying to change my Acars map to the weather version. All I can see in the local_config is # Valid types are G_NORMAL_MAP, G_SATELLITE_MAP, G_HYBRID_MAP, G_PHYSICAL_MAP I tried changing my map to G_WEATHER_MAP but it doesnt work. Hello guys, Yes, this is another one in the category "no route passed" I've searched this forum extensively and haven't come up with any solution. There's a couple of jscript references on top of my layout.tpl but that's in the right place, and the htmlhead includes on php as well. Seeing that there are so many errors on this I'm coming to think this is just bad coding. I'd fix it myself but can't find where is the class "addbid" that takes care of this stuff. I don't see why this should be some fancy javascript, cause all it does is add the id of the bidding pilot into the record for that schedule? Sorry if I open an other post but the other user hasn't got my problem. In basic template routemap and livemap work without problems. Hey Guys! So I am developing my pilots center, and I had successfully modified the search form and results form. I tried using Simpilot's addon, but it is not compatible with the current PHPvms. Because I have over 8000 routes, it takes over 30 seconds for it to load. Is there a way where I can limit how many routes it loads at first so it can load faster? I tried pagination, but it still does the same thing (loads all at first then puts it in order). Attached is a photo of my schedules/view page. Is there a way where I can have a search form first, then display the schedules instead of having the schedules and search form?

Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me figure something out. I am trying to show "recent pilots" data on a static page on our airline website. I have added the codon.config.php at the start of the page and the pasted the code snippet from the tpl file "recentpilots" into my web page. Nothing shows up. Hello everyone, browsing through VA sites that are powered by PHPVMS, I have noticed that they do not have the PHPVMS logo in the top left corner. I am happy to keep the little "Powered by PHPVMS" footer, but would like to replace your logo with mine if that is possible? Thanks in advance.
