Did you seek an Airline where u can fly for fun organised??? It didn´t cost nothing for you. We have 2 own Servers, one Root (Web) and Gameserver. If u interested in helping me to bring my VA up, u can join the Admin Staff. There is an Ranking/ Economy System integrated. U can´t fly for example an 777, it depends on your rank. With Hours of flying u become an greater rank and you can fly a bigger plane .For every Flight u become virtual dollars and flyinghours. Malaysia Virtual Airlines is 1 year old this month. Sing Malaysia Virtual Airlines happy birthday. A lot has happened in the year of operations, we reached a very good milestone, 5000hours, and 2000 pireps. This afternoon I got an email from a gentleman making a charter request for my ATR 72....I thought to myself "oh this is a cool idea" , then I look up his site and it is a real mining business.... ... I explain to him in my footer it states we are a fictional charter service, but then ask if I can have an idea of what they are doing as I try to simulate real world Ops as best I can...Thought I would share.. My goal was to simulate a real charter service website with a mix of the flight sim stuff too...Guess its working!!!

Different VAs have different numbers of hours before promotion. Airlines in the real world will obviously have a much higher number required. Many VAs claim to have a realistic system similar to real-world airlines, where they fly for about 50 hours just as a Trainee! I think that's a little much. I just wanted to know everyone's opinions on the topic, and what you have yours set to at the moment. Here's mine: freshJet Ranks

SkyBlue , Has now opened its doors to the public. SkyBlue CEO Sean Wheelington has announced that flight operations will begin out of the New York Kennedy Airport until a final decision is made for a permanent hub. The other day I was browsing some of the new and not so new VA's and noticed that at a lot of new "startup" VA's the CEO is doing a lot of flying. So far, nothing out of the ordinary - you'd expect the founder of a CEO to put time in. It is a common phenomena, that if you want to get a VA (or any club, society etc) off the ground, you need a "hard core"... a kind of "critical mass" to get the snowball rolling. Some VA's have the benefit of having a few people that sign up right from the start, or are a result of a merger. Others are not.
